decent, but what do you do with those elementals. I don't think spell damage shaman will care about tokens.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
we had a 2/1 mech that dealt 2 damage before, so as a baseline it's not great needs the spell damage to work.
Wouldn't better wording have been "Deal 2 damage. Summon a 1/1 Elemental for each damage dealt"? As it is now it is a bit weird.
Anyway, as I have mentioned before, I fully support any card that makes Spell Damage more useful. At it's base the card isn't nearly good enough to run, but if you get 3 damage and three 1/1s then it is about as good as Serpentshrine Portal. With Spell Damage +2, it is pretty powerful. I only worry though that most of the time you won't have room on the board for all of the elementals.
Carrion, my wayward grub.
Curves well with the new spell damage weapon they're getting and compare favorably with Imp-losion, but I'm not sure if this is a card you include in your deck. It does deal with aggressive minion boards fairly well at least.
Intended to be used with spell damage, which might be realised in odd shaman, where you can consistently generate wrath of air totems.
However, I'm not sure if this is actually that strong even when it is empowered.
This post is discussing the wild format.
This is a concept I've seen so many times on fan-made cards, so it's cool to see it finally in the game.
At it's base form, it's... okay. Not horrible, but it's not that great either. This card lives and dies by how often you can get Spell Damage and this spell off with one of those minions on the board. In Shaman, there's always the chance you get Wrath of Air Totem from your Hero Power, although that's a bit of an RNG gamble, though it does make it slightly better.
Would have prefer a more funny name like Imp-losion
Spell damage shaman will certainly love this, but its basically then Imp-losion without Darkshire Councilman.
That it can hit face is perhaps its saving grace, or otherwise its just a weaker Lightning Bolt. Since shaman also has access to Bloodlust and Storm's Wrath, getting the 1/1 minions may not all be useless.
Could see play in Burn Shaman Decks - otherwise not to sure!

Really strong with spell damage. If you have enough spell damage, this can fill the entire board. Strong in some kind of aggro spell-damage list. Also don't underestimate these tokens, because the last thing you want is to play against a board of tokens buffed by Bloodlust. Solid card.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
An alright tempo, but this must be made in collaboration with all the spell damage synergy. So i guess this see play..
Some spell dmg shaman with bloodlust in his deck might be interested in this one. Otherwise, elemental synergies are long gone for standard shaman. Gone, but not forgotten.

My thought exactly. Weird wording, although I guess we can all tell what it means, especially since there is so much spell damage this expansion. Decent card I suppose.

In the set Goblins vs Gnomes, Warlock received the spell Imp-losion, which players will make immediate comparison to this card.
However, whereas Imp-losion is 4 mana, this is 3, making it a spell that can be cast by Trick Totem, or even be discounted by Farsight and the new Primordial Studies. It's also a consistent 2 damage instead of 2-4, and consistent damage allows for better planning when it comes to single target removal. Both are also empowered by spell damage, which will increase the amount of tokens this summons.
While the spell sounds weaker than it's counterpart, consider the tools that Shaman has in their arsenal to make this spell stronger -
They've received the new weapon Rune Dagger that gives +1 spell damage when they attack, Trick Totem that can cast this spell (hopefully not against it), Boggspine Knuckles AND Bogstruck clacker that can evolve the tokens, as well as the ever popular Mogu Fleshshaper that gets discounted the more minions are on the field. If Vashj Prime happens to draw this spell it'll be absolutely discounted.
I think this card, while it requires some work can see play in constructed, especially since Team 5 wants to keep pushing Spell Shaman so much
Kinda weird. Would SD shaman use tokens as well? One aims at spell burst (no pun intended), the other at minion burst.
Without spell damage, it's pretty underwhelming. Not necessarily bad in a token shaman, but totems seem to be the future of the archtype, not elementals.
Imp-losion with less RNG. With just a +1 spell powe can be 3 damage and 3/3, and shaman have the spell power totem. Can be good in the right deck imho
Not good. Serpentshrine Portal is just way better and it doesn't need a Set Up.

Baaaaaad, terribly bad
As I said on the shaman weapon. If spelldamage sees play this will be there
Lemushki - The one and only since the 2006 rebranding.
Having this with the totem and weapon is pretty good synergy.
Having this with the HP totem and weapon is pretty good synergy wise.
A fairer, but also more consistent Implosion.
Costs too much for what it does
All hail the banshee queen.
Very good when combined with Rune Dagger especially, spell damage shaman is really coming together.
This is a neat idea, but I'm not sure a board full of 1/1's is going to make this good enough (even in a spell damage package)...
Serpentshrine Portal just seems better in almost every situation to me.
This card doesn't have overload, but 3 mana for 2 damage and two 1/1's doesn't seem strong enough at baseline value when a card like Serpentshrine Portal is already in standard.
Better than [Hearthstone Card (Serpentshrine Portal) Not Found]. We might see some play.
Yes, it would have been 10 time better and clearer - Indeed
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
More evolve shenaningans. Sure, why not? Better then when Shaman had no identity at all.
Great in spell damage decks. Hopefully this is beneficial enough to see play.
Mass Aggro elemental spell damage build. Doesn't seem that useful if it requires that many factors.
Token support for shaman... I hate It.
By The Holy Light!
If spell damage becomes a relevant thing in shaman this should be really good. Imp-losion was a really good card at 4 mana, and this is a much more reliable version of that for cheaper.
I’m pretty sure the only reason why Imp-losion never sees any play anymore is basically because the Death Knight will always be too good to not run
Who needs consistency when you could have fun?
Spell damage spell!
-=alfi=-
Well at least it's a synergy with Lady Vashj, although it's a terrible wording on this card
Elemental Shaman?
Thanks to denial, I'm immortal.
I don't see the point of this card yet. Maybe in a future expansion it's purpose will be revealed.
How good this is depends on how good a Spell Damage Shaman is. I previously said I think Spell Damage Shaman would work better in Wild with Crackle being an additional burn option, and I maintain that opinion. And in Wild, would you run this? Probably not. I'm sure there are much better options.
Quick! Someone give me something clever to write here.
A good follow up to Rune Dagger, but after turn 3 the stats and the damage start to drop off quickly in terms of relevance. I just don't think you'll enough consistent spell damage beyond Rune Dagger for this to matter post turn 3.
For glory, honor, and gold!
Obviously meant to be paired with spell damage due to the wording on the card. Doubt it will see play outside of the spell damage shaman deck ppl will try.
TREMBLE before.... the most legendary dragon that ever existed!
This looks really fun to play with spell damage and an interesting way to convert it into swarm mechanics.

Not an amazing card, but it can work if there's a way to buff the elementals afterwards.
Imp-losion but it's Spell Damage based. I like the idea, don't know if Shaman loves it though since they can't do much with the Elementals afterwards.
