Saviors of Uldum Official Blog Post
Quote From Blizzard Now that the magical floating city of Dalaran is firmly within his kleptomaniacal clutches, Arch-Villain Rafaam and his crew of notorious ne’er-do-wells have travelled south to Uldum - the land of hidden treasures, plagues, mummies, and (thanks to the League of E.V.I.L.’s arrival) MAYHEM!
Though their ultimate goals are still shrouded in mystery, the next phase of their plan appears to be well underway. Now, if only there were a motley crew of courageous treasure hunters up to the task of thwarting these misguided malcontents…
Evil may be on the rise in the dusty deserts of Uldum, but hope is here in the form of the League of Explorers! Join Reno, Elise, Brann, and Sir Finley as they unearth treasures, battle bad guys, and take on the oh-so-simple task of saving the world in Hearthstone’s newest expansion, Saviors of Uldum!
Launching worldwide on August 6, Saviors of Uldum is Hearthstone’s newest expansion, and the next installment in our multi-expansion story spanning the entire Year of the Dragon. In Saviors of Uldum you’ll be introduced to 135 scorching hot new cards, added game features, and brand-new exciting mechanics!
EXPLORE THE SANDS OF ULDUM
REBORN
The magic of Azeroth’s Titans and Tol’vir has seeped into the dunes of Uldum’s ancient burial tombs. Now, death is more of a suggestion for the restless crypt-dwellers and temple-crawlers found within.
New Keyword – Reborn
Minions with the Reborn Keyword will return to life the first time they’re destroyed, but with 1 remaining Health.
PLAGUES
The League of E.V.I.L. will stop at nothing to see their dastardly plans come to fruition… even if there’s a little collateral damage along the way.Introducing – Plagues
Plagues are spells of ancient power wielded by the 5 League of E.V.I.L. classes (Priest, Shaman, Warrior, Warlock, and Rogue.) These cards wreak havoc indiscriminately, affecting every Minion on the board, so it’s best to be the one who decides when they’re unleashed.
QUESTS
No matter if they’re working to further the League of E.V.I.L.’s nefarious goals, or in cahoots with Reno’s ramshackle rapscallions to dismantle those despicable evil-doers, every adventurer worth their sand needs a Quest…Re-Introducing – Quests
As with existing Quest cards, these Legendary 1-Mana cards start in your hand and, once played, their progress will track above your Hero portrait. After your quest is complete, you’ll be immediately rewarded with a game-changing new Hero Power
MORE NEW AND FAMILIAR MECHANICS
As the dunes churn and cards previously hidden under sands of Uldum are revealed in the coming weeks, you’ll be introduced to some cards with exciting and powerful effects, as well as some familiar returning mechanics. Stay tuned to Hearthstone on social media to find out when new cards will be revealed!

Warlock Quest + Plot Twist
I was thinking the same. Maybe there will be Augmented Elekk as well.
+ Arch-Villain Rafaam = 0 cost legendaries
Do ya think you can run TWO Quests in Wild?
Patch note: Windfury Harpy got her breasts removed.
That epic split by Reno made me laugh hard. Well played, Sir.
Obligatory OP priest board clear
The reborn key word scares me. Will the health be set to one or will it be a damaged copy with one health but the potential to return to full health? The distinction is important when determining the impact on the resurrection pool.
In the announcement video looks like it is a damage copy.
It will be damaged
Alrighty, so... Elise is a Druid, Sir Finley looks like a Paladin - he brandishes a golden fish, that's 100% what a paladin would do, right? - Brann is a Hunter, so Reno is a Mage? Here's me hoping Reno keeps his 1-copy only rule so in Wild you can play both Renos AND Kazakus
Moreover, I like the ideas of quests, and I like the fact that they change your Hero Power this time. I've always enjoyed the chance of changing hero powers, and working for it from turn 1 seems much more fun that just having it thanks to Genn or Baku or just waiting to draw the DK in order to get it. I just hope this time around one Quest will be given out to all players for free, to not repeat the f2p sadness of Un'Goro.
I won't say anything about how good the cards are, because it's way too early to do so, but the 2 mana questing explorer is already a great step in the right direction for Quest decks - and in Wild Exodia Mage will be saying thank you. Let's see, I'm for once very intrigued about this expansion. I love LoE and its characters, and I love Uldum's atmosphere, so I'm excited. Now I just need to know a bit more about the PVE content released this time around - since they said a while back that they wouldn't always make dungeon run style content, let's see what happens.
Oh, and gg on the prediction, you were spot on!
Feels amazing to be right sometimes.
Reno as a mage doesn´t make sense. I think Reno would be the paladin and Sr. Finley the mage. Al thou, it would require a look of magic to Jen-Claude Van Dammed two camels.
I am still watching the animation, but I have only one thing to say:
KAWAII. That's a really dope video.
Why is Elise a druid hero? Cmon man... And I've been waiting for a proper Druid hero for a looong time. Where's my Hamuul? :(
Her attack emote is Aluth neladar! which is a Druidic attack spell
https://twitter.com/LegendaryFerret/status/854220925239148544
That said not saying she is better than Hamuul :)
seriously
Umm Lunara, she is my Go to Druid Hero! She's a satyr, so neutral to faction bias, and has just the right amount of crazy.... mentally that is. xD
It looks like the four Leaguers will correspond to each of the four "good guy" classes, so it's just more thematically appropriate. Elise is a Druid, confirmed, and I bet Reno is a Paladin, Brann is a Hunter, and Finley is a Mage. It doesn't line up quite perfectly, but it's close enough.
I'd say Finley=Pally and Reno=Mahe, because Murlocs are usually Paladin cards and Dragons have been Mage cards lately :v)
