The Rise of Shadows Great Dalaran Heist received some balance updates with this week's Hearthstone patch that included the Uldum pre-order and an upcoming Blackrock Crash brawl. Here are all the changes.
- 7 Player Decks received card adjustments - Rogue and Priest had changes in all their decks, Warrior had a single change.
- 6 boss hero powers were adjusted in cost.
- 14 bosses received nerfs to the power of their decks.
- 10 bosses received buffs to the power of their decks.
What do you think of the changes? Do you feel they are all fair? Are there any balance changes you think Blizzard missed?

Comments
The most fun Warrior deck gets even better.
Noticed the Haro Setting-Sun and Vas'no nerfs today and passed them on heroic, both of those used to be almost auto losses and now are just hard. Nearly all my heroic runs failed on a Vas'no and I still think he's the hardest non-final boss.
Overall changes look good although some of the rogue deck changes aren't anything special.
Great changes
i've only beated the first wing at heroic
I still lose to Draemus nearly every time. He's almost as bad as Haro Setting Sun. You cant deal with a deck that summons beasts for "free" (via overkill and other gimmicks) and has the Deathstalker Rexxar hero power for the enemy boss.
Ol' Toomba is actually pretty hard now. Did he really need a buff to his hero power?
I'd have thought Oxana Demonslay would receive a nerf. That's the one boss I've had the hardest time beating.
Finished heroic with unbuffed rogue, the main problem was FIRST boss... Starting decks were lame
Whirlwind
one, two, blizzard's coming for you
three, four, better lock you door
finally, those Rogue decks were pretty lame. There was pretty much nothing in them to build around and a lot of the time you were hoping to get Bob to throw some of that crap out immediately
Randomize is bugged... 10 cost cart are never less than 9 or 10 mana until turn 10...
Good changes. I once lost to Chomper as the first boss three runs in a row!
Now, if they will just make it where you can unlock the hero skins for defeating all the wings on heroic with that hero, it would be a perfect game mode!
I really like the changes.. all look positive for the enjoyment of the heist..
dr. boom's sheme is just a terrible card can be buffed by 3 mana and still be just ok..
I don't know why it doesn't cost 1 mana.. it's ok since it's a dead card whole game and it's just armor gain in the end..
Imo Khadgar is realy bad balanced, it's so broken, you can win only with Rin or Sound the Bell at 0 mana. Really annoying !!!
The box helps. Just wait for the Golden Candle and poof, all spells gone
Golden Candle beats every deck. They can't use their syngery if they have none and if you have just one passive that works without specific synergies (Gaudiness, Sceptre, Flag) then you basically win unless RNG fucks you
I beat him last night with Hunter and the passive Rush treasure.
Soak it up to start with, board clearing as much as possible with your rush minions (all of them!), until he runs out of steam.
I won't lie - Khadgar is really hard, and gets rolling quite quickly with the potential of some insane synergies, especially on Heroic - but to go as far as to say that you must cheese him is too much.
I've been playing the 5th wing of the Heroic Heist since it came out, with the sole purpose of clearing it with every class, deck and hero power. So far, I've completed 8 heroes, half of which I beat with 2 hero powers and decks. The only time I used the Sound the Bells cheese was when I've first found out about it - and I've just wanted to experience it.
There are many ways to beat Khadgar, and all it takes is a good combination of cards \ treasures and sometimes just a bit of luck. My main strategy against him is to not care so much about his early turns, but try to slow his roll at all costs towards the 4-5 mana mark. He usually spams a lot of cheap spells early on, which can deal with a lot of cheap minions and deal ~20 damage easily, but then he runs out of steam - so just roll over his elemental dudes and you should be in a good position to win. If you are having trouble, try looking into Anomaly mode - some anomaly effects you can really build around, and the last 4 mages have a hard time exploiting them well, thus resulting in a net positive effect for you :)
hmmm no? I mean there are tonnes of people who beat khadgar on heroic with many different decks you just need to have a broken deck..
Very good to see them working on the content. Maybe I will even but the second wing... Was not to keen on spending the gold but their efforts make me rethink.
Player deck buffs seem mostly solid. Especially getting rid of Lightspawn and Schemes was a good call.
