A couple of months ago, we datamined six new heroes that were going to be added to the game. Hallow's End 2020 is bringing us two of those heroes, including a new Paladin skin - Horseman Uther.
The skin resembles the Headless Horseman, a Warcraft classic for Halloween, with a slight bit of that Paladin flair that we all know and love. The bundle that Horseman Uther comes in won't be cheap at $25 USD, though you do get a decent deal out of it if you still have cards from Scholomance Academy you want to collect.
The Horseman Uther Bundle contains:
- 25 Scholomance Academy packs
- 1 random Scholomance Academy Legendary
- Horseman Uther Hero skin
Are you considering picking up the hero? We'll have more details once the patch drops tomorrow to help you make up your mind - hopefully, the hero has some unique voicelines unlike Scholar Jaina and the upcoming Rexxar skin.
Quote From Blizzard Available from September 29 to October 13, this bundle includes 25 Scholomance Academy packs, the Horseman Uther Hero skin, and one random Scholomance Academy Legendary card $24.99 USD.

Seriously, why don't they show the horse, on a "HORSERIDER" skin -_-
It looks like a cheap plastic toy, this way :(
Agreed, seeing the horse on the art would be awesome :/
okay here I come with my "why not a new rogue skin?"
okay now that THAT's outta the way I'm only missing ONE Scholomance legendary - so this deal seems pretty good to a player like me.
And the 25 packs will just be additional dust for the next expansion
I would like it if the Uther Horseman had a special intro quote when facing off against Sir Annoy-O, since he was first introduced during Hallow's End as well
No but seriously, didn’t Dean announce a rogue hero to be the second next? I think this was even before Arann
if i remember correctly, Dean said that they "were working on a rogue hero skin", my honest guess is that Dean probably referred to the book of heroes Rogue skin, which will just be another dang Valeera skin... I really hope we will get a new ALTERNATE rogue skin, a.k.a. not Valeera. But seeing how the HS team is handling hero skins right now, my hopes are really low for a good alternate skin with new voice-lines.
I can get your hopes up, they announced alternate voicelines for book of heroes characters.
But i’m with you, rogue has been horribly neglected in terms of alternate heroes. The class is probably the best candidate for the next expansion hero
watch the new alt hero for the next expansion be a warlock or priest instead of a Rogue
When I first saw this I thought it was going to be the death knight uther card art. Now that I’d pay for. This just looks goofy
/disappointed
Why can’t we just buy the hero skin? I don’t want to pay $25 just because the packs are included..
Uther in Horseman form: "I will fight with honor." - "I will command the light" - "By the Holy light."
Me: "Uh, Uther? Are you okay?"
I don't really like the idea of seasonal themed skin. Save that for the tavern brawl.
I hope they pick up their hero skin game soon. These last two aren't so great especially Jaina.
I really like the new Rexxar skin though - If it comes with more than art, I'm sold.
I most have forgot a new RexxarwRexxar coming out when I wrote that. I like that one too and he has new voice lines so that's a plus. Now if they would just update the art to the hero powers for these new hero's then that would be good too. I used Sylvanna for Hunter and it would just be nice if the art and animation were a little different.
I don't care much for the skin, but 25 packs + 1 legendary for $25 is better than the average bundle. Still, it's $25 that I'm not sure I want to spend on Hearthstone.
There has got to be unique lines for this skin. You can get away with Jaina on a technicality, but this is another theme altogether.
But 25 USD though. At least it comes with a free legendary, easily the best thing about the bundle.
The image of Headless Horseman Green Uther saying "By the Holy Light!" is really amusing to m
Headless Horseman hero card or nothing.
Let me guess, no new voice lines? And they made the Headless Horseman an Uther specifically for that reason.
It's unfortunate that this is the first thought that came to mind - snarkily expecting a bummer instead of getting hyped for a cool skin.
I'm not sure why they had to make it "Horseman Uther" and not just have him as the Headless Horseman. That would have been a lot cooler.
