Nethrandamus support for DH!
Kidding aside, this seems pretty good as long as you can get the full effect. Paying 7 mana for a potential 14/14 worth of stats with rush is good in theory, though the ones that remain could easily be clearable.
If you can't kill off all the minions though, it's just bad; paying 7 mana for 7 1/1s with rush is a worse Swarm of Locusts. The latter saw play because of its synergy with Unseal the Vault, so maybe this DH card can see play if new token synergies are introduced to the class.
I think that this is mostly bad unless you need to trigger a massive number of death effects. 7 mana for at most 14 damage is not great.
I doubt this goes anywhere competitive, but maybe this + Wrathscale Naga does something of note?
This post is discussing the wild format.
Wow.
I like It. The question is, the resumon effect works if you summon less than seven Illidaris?
If yes, can be a really headache with Wrathscale Naga. But you can play this at t10, kill one illidari and play the naga for 13x3 extra damage.
By The Holy Light!
14/14 rush stats? that's a lot, but needs to have a token DH build which isn't good atm...
needs more support to be good but if tokens is your plan it's a solid card.
Decent, slow, and completely unplayable. Reminds me alot of Cycle of Hatred, but this card is a better bet since its at least a decent removal option if nothing else.
There needs to be better support for token dhunter than simply relying on a massive Blood Herald or Fel Guardians. You can get rid of that Wrathscale Naga combo from your head. At best it guarantees the opponent's board is removed, and paradoxically may prevent the second batch from coming out by killing the opponent's board too early.
When they say "all" does this mean you need an empty board to maximize the effect? So if you have a minion on board, this loses a ton of value.
Interesting combo with Wrathscale Naga. Needs some order lul, I think. Cast this, suicide 1 minion, then drop Wrathscale Naga, assuming you can suicide all 12 tokens, that is worth 36 damage across all enemies. Of course this means token DH needs to be a thing.
Don't forget about tokens damage. So +13 dmg
What's the most powerful card in Hearthstone?
A credit card.
doubt it would work that way, you will need an empty board.
cause they need to die for this to work.. this card is a weird mechanic cause there should be an invisible counter for it, have the tokens be connected.
according to the wording it should count 7 deaths from summons of this card but spaggetti code.
Isn't it too slow?
I am 69 years old and still reach Legend
An ok card i think - could work but right now i think it is to slow for Demon Hunter.
Challenge me ... when you're ready to duel a god!
Wrathscale Naga has a chance of killing your opponents board before you trade off all illidaris, which really lowers this card's consistency. That being said, I love the design, even though it's very polarizing in arena.
Rating cards on coolness factor rather than predicting power because I like screwing up rating averages (and because I suck at predicting real power levels, but we'll ignore that LUL)
Wins per class (2/6/22): DH-197; Druid-996; Hunter-91«60; Mage-1056; Paladin-1126; Priest-746; Rogue-961; Shaman-1095; Warlock-871; Warrior-906
Always want more token DH support, much more interesting archetype than aggro or even soul fragments
TREMBLE before.... the most legendary dragon that ever existed!
This + Wrathscale Naga has obviously some insane synergy, BUT token DH is a horrible archetype. Token DH needs more (good) pay-off cards like Wrathscale Naga to work, and even then, Expendable Performers is just a bad card because token DH needs to be BEHIND ON BOARD! (and DH has no buff cards, and that's one of the DH class weaknesses.) Also, DH + behind on board/no board = *Pressing Concede button intensifies*.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Other face decks KILL you on turn 7. This card is strong, but will not be helping token DH anytime soon. Instead, this is a good push for a slower control DH instead, but the archetype obviously still needs more work as Priests and Mages can simply outvalue DH at any turn with their card generation
This ain't no place for a hero
This will clear a lot of boards, and has synergy with a variety of DH's existing cards. Expensive, but could be strong.
"Be excellent to each other." -Bill and Ted
This is just command the illidari but better.
These rush token minions don't see much play in Standard, but I'm sure they'll be very strong in arena. 7 mana 14/14 of stats will most certainly clear a board
Seems strong. Even though you most likely do need an empty board to get full use out of it and trigger the "seven more" effect, it's not too hard to suicide what you have to get usage out of this. And all this chip damage can be really good.
Even if you do need to summon all 7 to get the "seven more" effect to trigger, you can just suicide one and play Wrathscale Naga afterwards which is a turn 10 combo capable of doing a lot of damage. It has good synergy with other cards like Nethrandamus or Fel Guardians, although neither of those two cards see much play.
It could be bad, but I'm going to go on a whim and say that it's good.
But double!
Seriously though this card doesn't look too bad. Think of it like a one-sided Volcano, or a more control oriented Priestess of Fury. I don't expect this to be terribly powerful, but I think it will work as a good enough board clear for a more control-ish deck.
Carrion, my wayward grub.
Insane in arena, but in constructed Idk token DH still doesn't seem all tha good.

Always like seeing support for swarm and control DH. I actually really like this card and think it's a really cool design, also great flavor.
I am seeing this being a swing turn to play against your opponent's taunt wall. Combine this with Wrathscale Naga and it's a big turn that could reset the board for better positioning
I mean, you need an empty board in order to fully use this, I guess it is good removal in a Control DH or an OTK DH.
Aside from that I'm not sure if I like it.
I'm not sure this will be competitive, but I think it will be annoying to deal with.
I love how the demon hunters being acrobats for this expansion!
Love the lore reference for their innate agility
Yeah, I get that. That was why I mentioned to cast the spell, suicide 1 minion (one of the rush tokens), then drop Wrathscale Naga. In this way, assuming tokens can be killed on board, this will trigger the effect since all 7 will die.
Oh that way it could work but you need to account for Naga killing other units on board..
Yeah, it's RNG dependent. At least on a losing/lost board, the combo would practically guarantee a board clear.
Not very useful if you're ahead.
That's indeed - potentially - a lot of stats for (7) mana
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
Pretty interesting effect. Could be experimented with in token decks since there are some good synergies for Demon Hunter. But I doubt it will see any actual play.
This seems a bit slow, it could be slightly viable in slower decks like token DH but that’s not a deck you want to run in such an aggro-centric class.
In case you haven't found the answer yet: yes, the resummon will happen when you kill all the Illidaris you summoned, regardless of their amount.
token dh on the rise
TOTAL CORRUPTION
TOTAL POWAAAAAAA
I think that this could be alright, but just a bunch of 1-1's doesn't seem that strong, even with two waves coming through. I don think it will see much play, unless token DH gets more support in the future.
"Some inspirational quote from some famous person" - Some famous person
Seems groovy can wipe quite a few boards with it or just rattle down a big minion I think its good enough to get some play
Self proclaimed good at battlegrounds
Insane value if you manage to pull it off once.
A very powerful token generator to be sure, but the issue with token DH isn't that they don't have enough token generators. The main issue with the archetype is that there isn't a consistent payoff for running token cards in your deck. There still isn't one with all of the cards revealed, and I don't see Expendable Performers seeing play until one gets introduced.
For glory, honor, and gold!
This and Wrathscale Naga will be interesting, but too fringe to actually be a thing. DH has better options for decks than a gimmick.
cards with "for each minion that died/attacked" might actually have a use now
All hail the banshee queen.
Better Swarm of Locus, but I'm still not convinced you want to be spending 7 mana not going face.
Soon my Blood Herald Deck will crush you all!
Hey, you heard about that Mario guy?
If you put this card in your deck it means you are expecting your opponent to have a very specific board state that you can answer with 14 1/1s. Demon Hunter has a vast array of better cards, and cheaper ways to answer those types of boards.
I don't want to cure cancer; I want to turn people into dinosaurs.
I got this spell in a duels run. I can confirm that as long as all minions summoned dies this spell summons new ones. You don't need an empty board.
In a vacuum it's really good value for the cost, but in practicality it's too expensive for demon hunter and doesn't do what demon hunter likes to do. There is some token synergy of course, but this addition is probably not good enough
Super efficient removal tool, and the name really does it for me
I wonder if the trigger for the seond summon is that no more Illidari are on board or a counter that seven of them died. Could be a the difference in this getting played or not. Cost seems a bit high for the effect otherwise.
Unfortunately, common sense isn't as common as it should be.
It tricked me at first, but up to 14 damage spread where you like - perhaps more with Parade Leader - is actually really good. I wouldn't be surprised to see this help make a Token DH actually viable.
