  • Coldlight Oracle but no stat penalty, yeah coldlight oracle was not played in murloc decks and it being symetrical..

mill decks are not a thing..

  • Do Wild Mill decks want more mill? Oracle is still much better for the job.

  • This is not supposed to be a mill card. It's a vanilla-statted Novice Engineer with the drawback of drawing your opponent a card. Every class got so much card draw so I don't see this being played.

  • Idk if this will see play, but I'm having Coldlight flashbacks and I don't login.

  • Coldlight Oracle's brother, maybe some combo decks want it

  • I honestly think this mini-Coldlight Oracle is solid. It might see play solely because it has a good body for its statline, especially for aggro decks. Would control/cycle decks switch out Novice Engineer for this since it'll trade better? We'll see.

  • Seems like a lot of Murlocs made it to the fair this year ... which is fine, but fishy

  • Not in Standard, but Wild Mill Rogue could use this.

  • So, hmmm, what's the opposite of power creep called? (and I'm not talking only about Coldlight Oracle, I'm also talking about Fishflinger)

  • I think it is pretty good. If you are playing in a deck that cares a lot about draw, and your opponent tends to have a full hand then this is a pretty good card. Against a faster deck this isn't really good though. I guess whether or not this card is played depends partly on the meta.

  • Too bad it will never draw enough to mill, and drawing cards for your opponent is not generally considered to be a good idea.

So sadly, no. Just another murloc filling up the role of maybes and ifonlys.

  • Maybe some sort of murloc deck is desperate enough to run this, but highly doubt it

  • I don't see any deck outside of mill decks running this. The drawback is too punishing.

It either it helps your opponents find their answer or you find their lethal for them.

  • Could see some play in some archetypes that need more card draw, like not pure libram paladdin. Otherwise 3/5 card, not bad but there are better.

  • It's probably not that good since you don't want your opponent to draw more cards, and you're just handing them another card in their deck. Fishflinger at least just gave them a random garbage Murloc. It's only good for milling, and Coldlight Oracle does that job better. I suppose this will just act as a bad roll from those cards that generate random Murlocs.

  • standard version of the oracle.  Not as good obviously, but could see play

  • Coldlight Oracle that draws one card, but has good stats. Will see play in both Murloc Shaman, Murloc Paladin and Battlecry shaman. (Battlecry shaman in standard, so they can mill opponents sometimes.)

  • I like the callback but I don't really see this thing being played much except maybe in murloc decks to cycle with

  • A mini Coldlight Oracle, but the fact that it draws one fewer card is a huge detriment to the power of Prize Vendor as you can't as consistently mill your opponent. Novice Engineer fits the bill better if you want cheap card draw.

Maybe shaman can mill with the quest? Using Prize Vendor, Banana Vendor, King Mukla and K'thir Ritualist? Looks like a funny meme deck.

  • Was going to make a standard mill mage deck with this when i saw it, but i forgot that Research Project rotated already

  • I love the design.  Free cards, Murloc support, and premium stats.  I think this will be run in most aggro decks.

  • Coldlight Oracle's little brother... Mrgllll glrrm gl!

  • Mini draw both players murloc?

  • Coldlight is back! This is in a Shuffle Rogue is definitely going to be a fun meme deck

  • Just use Coldlight.

  • When you want to mill your enemy but slower

  • beep beep beep beep beep, that's all i have to say about this card :X

  • Giving your opponents cards is bad, so this card is probably bad. You would only ever see this in dedicated Murloc decks, and I think most classes that want to do that have far better options.

  • I thought I missed Coldlight Oracle, but I think it was just nostalgia. This card isn't as good as it.

  • Worse than fishflinger because that gives the opponent a random murloc, which they probably don't want/need. This gives them something they put in their deck.

  • This one is tough, card draw, but for both players. Not many tools to support mill in standard and Coldlight is better in wild. Druid has run cards that give both players mana before, so maybe someone finds a use for it. Maybe a combo heavy deck that wants to pull it's pieces fast.

  • Don't think the symmetrical draw is enough to make Mill a thing, right now it's just an alternative to Fishflinger.

  • Mill potential is always nice, and card draw in a Murloc deck is probably also welcome.

  • I think it's more oriented to be played as a draw with drawback than milling your opponent.

  • Decent stats for its cost but nothing special

  • Definitely worse than Coldlight Oracle, but that's the point. This might weasel into aggressive Murloc decks that are looking to kill their opponent before they can play the extra card.

  • Old Murk-Eye is that you?
