2 mana discount on secrets seems good to me.. having more ways to save mana on those expensive secrets is a good way to push that deck..
Wild secret mage needed no help Blizz .. why
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
When played on turn 3, this is basically a 0 mana 2/3. On later turns it just gives Secret Mages even more tempo then they had before, which seems kind of unnecessary.
Carrion, my wayward grub.
Another piece for Tempo Secret Mage, looks like we're going to see quite a bit of this in the upcoming expansion.
this seems like a threat that any1 going up against secret mage must deal with
TOTAL CORRUPTION
TOTAL POWAAAAAAA
Still can't play secrets on turn 1 without Kabal Lackey, but this will definitely find its way into Wild Secret Mage.
"Be excellent to each other." -Bill and Ted
I hope no one is expecting to get more than one trigger out of this. And I certainly hope no one is planning on playing it on curve.
Vanilla stats but a really solid ability. Even if you have just one secret, T3 you play out 2 cards. Not sure in Wild, but Standard may be seeing action
Weird Kirin Tor Mage wannabe, unless it give second secret not worth it, probably and he almost never does

Cute, may see some play.....maybe.
Trades 2 attack for a more permanent effect when compared to Kirin Tor Mage for a persistent effect. I'm not sure this is the right trade in a tempo deck, but persistent effects have been historically very powerful.
Rating cards on coolness factor rather than predicting power because I like screwing up rating averages (and because I suck at predicting real power levels, but we'll ignore that LUL)
Wins per class (2/6/22): DH-197; Druid-996; Hunter-91«60; Mage-1056; Paladin-1126; Priest-746; Rogue-961; Shaman-1095; Warlock-871; Warrior-906
Since I'm almost certain that secret mage is going to be a thing around tier 1-2, this card will certainly see play, if only because its basically another Kirin Tor Mage
That art though. Like I really like how its basically the same elf from Rigged Faire Game. Kinda shows how the two belong with one another eh?
I really don't see this going into Wild Secret Mages, I can't think of anything to replace in the current lists. Getting the Secrets cheaper is rarely an issue for the deck, at least not one that would cost the game. Current 2-drops are very important for draw/deck thinning, and Kirin Tor Mage's far better body makes up for the one-time nature of the effect.
Pretty good card. Basicly a "free" 2/3 body if you cast this alongside a secret on turn 3. Similar to Kirin Tor Mage i guess. BUT Game Master is a really scary card to keep alive, and will cause your opponent to play their removal to get rid of it. One thing i don't see people talk about is how great it is to have another "play 2 cards for the same price" card in a aggressive deck. This means you can empty your hand faster so you can draw more cards with Voracious Reader, and keep up the tempo/aggro. Also Game Master + Counterspell can be quite annoying when you try to remove it. If it sticks after turn 3, you can cast 2 secrets on turn 4. Seems pretty solid actually.
Standard: This will see play in secret mage, and other secret heavy decks.
Wild: Secret mage might run it, I'm not 100% sure though. Game Master might be too slow, considering secret mage already has a lot of ways to play/cheat out secrets.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
This is pretty insane, already feeling sorry for wild players
TREMBLE before.... the most legendary dragon that ever existed!
I don't see this being too good. It doesn't look like a bad card, but then you realize Kirin Tor Mage is better in almost every way.
If you play a Secret with this on turn 3, then you basically just played a Kirin Tor Mage with 2 less Attack. You're not going to play this on turn 2 because you want the effect to do something. It could hypothetically survive multiple turns and trigger the discount multiple times, but I don't think this is better than just Kirin Tor Mage most of the time since it will usually die in one turn.
Just play Kirin Tor Mage instead.
It's basically a free body with a secret the first turn you play it then it's a great aura for the rest of the time it's alive I could see it maybe replacing kirin tor since it's effect lasts as long as it's around
Self proclaimed good at battlegrounds
This compares unfavorably to Kirin Tor Mage as a turn 3 play, and only can get better than the Mage if it sticks around for multiple turns, which is unlikely with its low stats. I think Secret Mage already has enough 3 drops with Kirin Tor Mage and Inconspicuous Rider as the Rider thins out your deck rather than limiting your hand resources.
For glory, honor, and gold!
Well sure, if you have 3+ mana with a secret and both Kirin Tor Mage and this card in hand, of course you play the kirin tor instead. But you usually run way more secrets than kirin tor mages in your secret mage deck so getting a discount on your expensive 3 mana secret more often than twice is pretty good support for that deck. Kabal Lackey is a staple alongside the kirin tor in wild exactly for that reason, so I'm sure this will become a staple in secret mage in standard as well. Inconspicuous Rider casts the secrets from your deck, but you will draw your secrets more often than not so you cannot rely on it completely.
If it can survive more than one turn, can effectively make your plays more mana efficient. But this is a soft taunt. I expect only to live for one turn
Will only see play in standard if at all.
Living like that.
I think the 3 mana 4-3 guy would be better, but this could see play if it sticks. It just doesn't seem sticky enough to me though, but could see some play in secret mage.
"Some inspirational quote from some famous person" - Some famous person
Not for tempo decks, coz it will not last more than 1 single turn in play. Soft taunt minion.
Worse Kirin Tor Mage. Pack filler card and won't see play.
Not used in a standard secret mage, but I'm now hyped for a highlander secret mage.
If it survives it looks like a decent card
All hail the banshee queen.
This card will be hated in wild especially lol.
Weaker 3rd and 4th copy of Kirin Tor Mage, but at least you can play it on 2 and threaten getting value the next turn.
Hey, you heard about that Mario guy?
Mage secrets in Standard just aren't that threatening, and Kirin Tor Mage does most of what this card does better.
I don't want to cure cancer; I want to turn people into dinosaurs.
Kirin Tor Mage is better and don't see play in standar.
That card is bad, even for arena.
By The Holy Light!
Basically 2 more copies of Kirin Tor Mage, with slightly weaker body and slightly higher removal priority. This won't make secret mage strong, but it will be a strong card in the deck if it comes to fruition.
2/3 for 2 is pretty good, and the effect is quite strong, specially if it can stick to the board
I mean... it's a free 2/3 on Turn 3 if you were planning on playing a Secret anyway? I feel like you don't really need this compared to all the other fantastic Secret stuff that Mage has.
Welcome to the site!
This on turn three makes at least one secret in your deck have the added effect of summoning the body. Anything sticking on future turns is just mana discounts. Still, if there are good enough secrets to run, this could become a staple in secret mage.
Unfortunately, common sense isn't as common as it should be.
