A short while ago, different 'Tavern Special' card pack bundles started to appear in the in-game shop, and players have reported having different options offered:
- $10 USD for 1 Legendary and 10 Darkmoon Faire packs
- $20 USD for 2 Legendaries and 20 Darkmoon Faire packs
- $30 USD for 2 Legendaries and 35 Darkmoon Faire packs
- $20 USD for 1 Legendary and 25 packs (5 packs from Kobolds and Catacombs, Knights of the Frozen Throne, Journey to Un'Goro, Mean Streets of Gadgetzan and Whispers of the Old Gods each)
Head on over to the shop to see if you're a whale and have the $30 bundle available. Regardless of what bundle you see in-game though, the Blizzard shop contains the $20 USD 20 pack bundle which includes 2 DMF legendaries so if you aren't happy with your bundle, that is also an option. Sidenote: Flux was able to purchase the $30 bundle in-game and the $20 shop bundle at the same time. Your mileage may vary though so if you have any doubts, buy the larger bundle first!
The offer lasts through February 9, 2021, so you've got plenty of time to pickup your Tavern Special. Which one did you get offered?

I opened the 2/35 bundle and it gave me Rinling's Rifle and Deck of Lunacy feelsbadman.
Just you wait, their time will come! Maybe :D The Rifle should be pretty good in almost any Hunter deck tho.
I was offered & bought the $30 bundle (2/35). My 2 Legendary cards were Greybough & Moonfang. My pity timer lined up in that I opened 2 Legendaries in the 35 packs. They were High Exarch Yrel & Yogg-Saron, Master of Fate.

Totally! After opening Yogg all I could think about was how the only Old God I had back in Whispers was the free C'Thun. Now in the Darkmoon Faire, the only Old God I don't have is C'Thun lololololololol.

weird system because i already have all the DMF cards, but i'd probably be enticed to buy the wild bundle.

I've been offered the 2/35 bundle, which sucks as I've got a complete collection of DMF cards. I'd take the wild deal in a heartbeat, as I'm missing cards from all of them.

Good idea in theory maybe, but in practice this is terrible. Everybody should be able to buy the bundle that suits him / her best. For non wild players the wild bundle is of no use. Or maybe your budget is limited (not that far fetched in a global pandemic) and you want the 10 bucks bundle and it is not offered to you. No, Blizzard, just no.
They've clearly calculated that A-B testing (or A-B-C-D testing...) is more valuable than perceptions of "fairness."
Got 2 legendary 20 packs bundle. I've opened 2 more legendaries from the 20 packs. So, it was a very good deal for me :)
Deals i got: -Ingame i got the $30,- 2 legendaries and 35 packs offer.

Kinda dissapointing, because i am already fine with my DMF collection (i pre-ordered DMF) and i would have LOVED the wild bundle. (I play mostly Wild) Kinda weird that they don't let you choose a bundle, because that seems like they potentially miss out on a lot of money? And i think we all know how much Blizzard/HS Marketing team hates missing out on the tiniest amount of money. But hey, at least they learned how to spell legendaries instead of legenderies. :)
Looks like i'm gonna skip this offer. Also the Anduin BoH skin is coming, and the Chinese new year skins. But i'm probably only getting the Anduin BoH skin.

Lol! I was playing yesterday and had some (more) drinks while playing. Now, that I see the news I remember that I saw a package and bought it. Totally forgot this! Apparently it was the 19,99 € DMF bundle regarding to my paypal bill. ;)
As I can't remember what I opened I had to check my collection if I see anything new. But I already hovered over all new cards. It looks like I got the Decks of Lunacy and Chaos, both Priest legendarys (G'hunn and Nameless). All cards I wouldn't have crafted. And I own Greybough now, but I'm not sure if I crafted him, because I have ~2K dust less.
So it seems it was worth it, but damn: don't drink and buy :D
So the moral of the story, if we didnt make the article, you wouldnt even remember you bought the bundle?:D
Would be great if blizzard offers a daily reroll option (like quests) for this offers until you get the one you want. I would buy the wild bundle, but got the 2 legendary 20$ DMF pack offer.
Or better yet, just offer all of them for evryone. and fi they want peopel to only get 1they can make so if buy one cant buy the otehrs anymore. But still should just give them all as options to evryone.
