The Blackrock Crash Tavern Brawl has continued this week but this time around Rafaam has joined the party! Here are the new additions to the brawl.
New Reward - Golden Rafaam's Scheme
A new quest will complete upon completion of the Brawl using the new Rafaam hero. This will reward you with a golden Rafaam's Scheme. Note that this is more like an achievement and not something you need in your quest log.
New Boss - Rafaam
The old four bosses are still in play but a new one has joined the party. Rafaam and his Arch-Villainy hero power are here to have fun.
You'll also find some fun in your starting deck with Rafaam via Gloves of Mugging and Master Scheme. Those alongside your hero power and bosses simply won't be able to keep anything in their hand, you'll get tons of 2-cost value, and you can get your boom on.

Blackrock Crash Card Reveals
There's a special part of the brawl which rewards us for killing many bosses, 25 million to be exact. Killing bosses that many times will give us a total of 4 Saviors of Uldum card reveals. We've unlocked 3 so far, and they are:
What do you think the fourth card will be?

The whole run is easy minus Vaelastrasz. That boss just burns through my deck and I can't seem to get cards out fast enough and end up getting into fatigue.
Turn 2 Golemagg against Ragnaros lol EZ PZ
Am I the only one, who thinks Rafaam is toneless in this brawl? When I started the game, I expected Rafaam to have an amazing entrance. You know, like the one in the LoE adventure: "RAFAAM! THE SUPREME ARCHAEOLOGIST!" or "RAFAAM! THE SUPREME MASTER MIND!" (since he plays a different role in RoS). But instead we got only a plain "Humpf". Humpf?! Since when does Rafaam act like a stuck-up person? He is the one, that likes to brag about his position and does it in a very noisy way.
And I'm not complaining about his deck or HP - those suit him quite well. I just find his voice lines underwhelming and him being out of character.
And not only that: since we have a thieving hero power, I managed to steal the first boss's weapon - it was also disappointing to see, that Rafaam didn't speak a word while swinging the maul.
Finished in 18 minutes first run, as I was lucky enough to get two Hand of Rafaam passives. That just completely wrecks the opponents and I won by turn 5/6 each time.
Easily on the first run, with a 24 minute completion time.
Does anyone kno if Rafaam can get the stargazing treasure? So far I have only seen it offered with Lazul...
This brawl is just ridiculous with OP Rafaam's hero power. ^^ Got it easily on the first run.
Ragnaros didn't stand a chance when I stole Golemagg on turn 2 with Rafaam's hero power. I almost felt bad for the old firelord.
Also, come on Blizzard, check your spelling (Raffam).
Pulling aBoulderfist Ogre on turn 2 is pretty good I'd say
Oh? Try pulling Golemagg.
Didn't really seem that strong for me. My run was pretty slow, but I will say that he just completely destroys Ragnaros with that hero power.
Two copies of Dr. Boom’s Remote just wrecked those bosses!
Rafaam is really OP and well rounded ; Ragnaros had no chance
Excellent build for Rafaam in this brawl. I had a blast getting a full run on my first go of it.
Already having such a familiarity with the bosses from back when standard format was just "all the cards up until now" helps, but even just facing them a few times in this past week was more than enough to choose a line of attack and execute.
EZ pack, EZ run
