Hunter getting hand disruption cards is amazing. If combo ever shows up for real, I know what my hunter decks will run
Hunter now confirmed as the anti-combo class.
should have poisonous...it's a scorpion...
The more I think about it the better this gets.
I mean really consider how many currently played decks run minions that you wouldn't want to pull with this?
The only one I can think of is Big Shaman and even then it's an upside if you can deny a Eureka.
Not to mention the 6-mana slot is kinda empty these days since Highmane is just not a good card in the current meta. This however is almost better against a lot of decks:
Warrior? Pulling an Omega Devastator, a Dynomatic or Dr. Boom is a pretty neat result...maybe you even get the Elysiana and win the long game
Rogue? Pretty much every card in current ROgue decks is combo or bAttlecry focussed so taking any of them out is a huge upside. If they Sap the Scorpion, just play it again for even more value.
Mage? I'd genuinely rather pull a Mountain Giant than have them play it themselves and do their cloning shenanigans
Assuming that Midrange Hunter sticks around (and why wouldn't it, Master's Call will carry that archetype until the rotation) I'd expect this in most versions.
that's some nice stats and it can probably kill something from your opponents hand immediately (most of the times). Sometimes it will backfire, but I think less than 5% of the time.
6 Mana 6/9 that backfires sometimes...
6/9 stats.
NICE!
Dirty Rat and Swamp King Dred had a scorpion baby, apparently. I've seen weirder things.
Dirtier Dirty Rat on crack ..!
Expensive but nice. Looks like Beast Hunter incoming.
