I like it!  Seems like a fun effect.  Reminds me of Vex Crow.

Definitely finding a place for it in my Suicide Menagerie Warlock.

With all this self damaging getting printed (2 cards so far but one is pretty hefty health cost potentially) will we be getting some warlock healing this set?

Please not, have you forgotten the spellstone yet? And this 1 mana healing spell? Warlock cannot have greater healing.

We can see the vulture summoning a new card in the reveal video, a 3 mana tol'vir 4/5 with ability.

    Edit:

Being overstatted, it likely will have a negative start/end of Turn effect similar to Fel Orc Soulfiend.

This card looks sweet, if there is a 0 mana spell that deal damage to yourself this might be even better

I like it. At the very least, it can bait out removal when you drop it on turn 4, then get value out of it next turn. Playing this on turn 6 could be swingy as well, since 3-drops are well-statted in general and there's no worst-case scenario like summoning a Doomsayer. Getting a King Mukla, Injured Blademaster, Marsh Drake, or even a Nightmare Amalgam would be fantastic.

    Unlicensed Apothecary synergies. Kappa

[edit] The card is very sweet and arguably way, way better than Vex Crow stat- and effect-wise. After seeing this, I am confident to suspect, that a mid-rangy zoolock would appear some day, which would run both Riftcleaver and Diseased Vulture. Maybe Duskbat would be included there as well.

This card looks super strong. I guess Warlock finally got its signature 4-drop that can fit in any deck.

Obviously synergizes very well with hero power. Decent stats, great effect. Strong card.

I always thought the spellstone was pretty fair, and the reason dark pact was an issue was the combos it enabled, not the healing

I like it better, when warlock has to use its health as a resource, which is not infinite... That's why many cards are very good for their mana costs. There has to be an inevitable downside.

I don't think they should get something earthen ring farseer or anything like that, I think they should get something similar to dark pact where there's a cost to the healing (Maybe a self damage spell which then heals you for more than the damage)

    It won't.

This doesn't compare to an 8/8 or 7/7.

I like how blizzard is making cards that could emerge a whole new type of warlock dec

It's not enough. Zoolock indeed can use health as a resource (as he closes games usually before turn 8 or loses anyway), but any other, more control-ish deck (which we want for warlock!) cannot. Slow archetypes needs health more than anything else, so they have to not only stop the bleeding (using removals, taunts, and stale mechanics), but also ways to recover (like heal or gain armor). Control Warlock before rotation had plenty of ways to heal but even then, many games (especially against aggressive decks) were very close. Often it was like coin-playing Gul'Dan with 3-5 health and trying to stabilize. Without healing it's impossible for ANY control deck to survive, especially Warlock wih self-damage mechanics.

Yet another decent beast with hero selfdamaging synergy. Maybe this time we will finally see a true beastlock? More beasts for untamed master of beasts!
