My point exactly.
Continuing the age old tradition of just tossing borderline game breaking stuff into Druid until it overflows and the entire class has to be nerfed again.
Why do they insist on making the Druid playstyle "stay alive while doing basically nothing for 5 turns and then win instantly".
It's not that hard to make Midrange Druid happen, just give me something tempo oriented I can play instead of Wild Growth.
They did with taunt druid. Give Razormane Battleguard to any class and you'll instantly see a taunt archetype.
But team5 persistently misunderstands how to properly balance high impact cards in druid so all we got is token druid and whatever bs ramp related druid there is. You're either beating them because they cant play the game, or they play the game and proceed to single player your booty to the next dimension.
Core set had the perfect oppertunity for that ,couldve had greedy sprite instead of wild growth if needed/they wanted even buffed it (like 3/2 instead of 3/1 or something)
The core honestly has alot of misser optertunities in what couldve been (like why are river crock and yeti there when printed a better river croc anyway in barrens) or not changing way the same style of effect is done (like ramp for druid on minion vs being a spell). Or being a cohesive set for some but not others and not buffing some cards when was the perfect chance for it)
Devs at Hearthstone: "Uh, how bout no. And here's another mana growth spell for you!"
The 1 mana card is funny because there was a food recipe in WoW which allowed you to transform into a pirate or a ninja randomly and either the fish needed for the recipe or the recipe itself (can’t remember tho) was found inside the wailing caverns.
so it's basically just a reference turned into a card because they needed filler
And basically random bad 1-drop for Wandmaker
On second thought, I don't think this card is bad at all. at some point, it's a good tech card.
Token droooood! Here I come
Oh it could definitely be a tournament tech card, but I don't see it being used in any ladder deck at all because there's just no point.
Rogue has really good minions at this point and you really don't want to waste any of those just to occasionally mildly inconvenience your opponent.
"Deviate" instead of "Deviant"? What?
wonder how many other cards we're getting today?
the sets like 33-35 cards and they've officially revealed what, 8?
Maybe they'll just showcase all the cards by the hour like the last Darkmoon Race. We only have so many cards this time, so it's do-able I think.
I'd be okay with that.
Them only showcasing 4 over a long weekend was kinda bogus
QUICK everybody act surprised, and pretend we didn't already see 1/2 of these!
:O
OKAY!
OH WOW LADY ANACONDRA! GARSP!!!
OH MY GOD IS THAT A SNAKE?!?! WITH WINGS?!?!?!?!?
