  • Good One - Could remove 1 or 2 minions with a decent amount of healing. Not sure you realy gonna need this in the upcoming meta tough.

  • This card is just... quite bad? Control paladin is not a thing, which is the only kind of deck that would want a card like this. I could never see myself running this over actually good paladin weapons like Underlight Angling Rod, Hammer of the Naaru or even Truesilver Champion. Also, what's the deal with all the Paladin weapons? First Seedcloud Buckler, then Prismatic Jewel Kit, now this. Paladin just doesn't have that many deck slots available for weapon, so when they print crappy weapons like this it just feels like it's taking the place of a good card instead.

  • I don't want to call it bad yet, but it seems sort of redundant.

Libram Paladin already has a better version of this and what other Control Paladin deck would there be?

  • Will never make the cut in constructed.

  • Its so baffling how weak this card actually appears that Im doubting myself for giving this a bad rating.

Maybe its the presumptive winner of this expansions 'Lady Liadrin' Award.

Or maybe its exactly what it looks like: shite on a stick.

  • Not optimistic about this card.

It looks like an anti aggro weapon of pally but competes with so many other weapon cards in paladin. That plus the massive downside of not being able to hit face.

If big pally gets some love, can be a good early tool against aggro.

  • Why is the attacking heroes restriction on this card? How often does Paladin buff up a weapon so large that it threatens lethal? I don't get this at all. I'm sure I'll open two of them.

  • Unless your deck has some healing synergy I don't see why you'd ever want to play this over Underlight Angling Rod.

That plus the massive downside of not being able to hit face.

This is clearly a control weapon and control decks don't usually want to hit face regardless, so not going face is not so much a massive downside as it is a slight inconvenience.

That being said, since this weapon is going towards board control, it's more of a "Your hero has a pseudo Divine Shield while attacking", which isn't great when compared to, for example, generating two murlocs.

  • Would be good, but this text...

  • Looks like a solid board control tool. Remove 2 minions and heal up some. Might make some weapon buffs worth running?

  • It isn't a bad card, just not terribly useful. I am pretty sure there aren't any paladin decks being held back by the lack of a decent mid-game removal card.

  • That Can't Attack Heroes is what kills this card, especially only for +1 attack over Aldrachi Warblades.

  • IF there is going to be some weapon buff, this would be pretty solid.  Other than that I think it is a little meh

  • Doesn't have a whole lot going for it. Would rather play Underlight Angling Rod. Also, not sure the 'Can't attack heroes' text is even needed.

  • I think it's pretty good, you can easily fit this in a midrange paladin deck. What would be cooler is that there was a consistant way to gain attack to better use the lifesteal.

  • I'd rather try and discount [Hearthstone Card (Libram of Judgement) Not Found] as that can go face if needed. However if there are healing synergies maybe this can make the cut as a faster way to trigger them.

  • Wow what a peace of hot garbage. Basicly budget Truesilver Champion that cant go face. This is 100% made for a control deck, BUT i feel like Libram of Judgment is a card you rather use instead of Lightbringer's Hammer

Yeh this is just dust. Maybe arena card at best.

  • Can't hit face. Lame.

  • I barely see the point for Pally to run this, as they have better weaponry in their arsenal, but also less restrictive and more consistent healing tools.

  • Weak.

  • can't attack heros kill the card ...

  • I like this one, but not crazy about it... Lifesteal is great but not being able to go face is sth restrictive... Even when paladin does not have that much weapon buffs.

They migh t make it as a precautiion after the op paladin we got last time.

  • Cant attack heroes is a bad keyword for an Epic.

  • So many better weapons.

  • As long as there are Librams in Standard there are better options to gain life. This will not see much play at all IMO.

  • I think everyone is misconstruing this card.  It's not that it was made for a control deck.  It's just they printed it with that text so it was NOT used by aggro paladin decks.  It could be that attack buffs are coming to paladin in the future, and they want to ensure that aggro paladin can't use a cheap lifesteal weapon to heal up and go face.

To repeat: This is not printed FOR control.  This is printed this way to PREVENT aggro from using it.  It's honestly one of the first times we've seen blizzard blatantly make awkward wording so it couldn't be used to go face.  It's similar in effect to Icehowl, which was printed before rush was a keyword, but also the fact that they didn't want it EVER attacking face.  Rush means it attacks the same turn, but the next turn it can go face regardless.

  • Even if it could go face... Is it really worth the space in the deck?

  • The FeelsBadMan epic card you open in your packs. It'll complete paladin achievements, that's about it

  • I am really happy to see the Uther weapon uncorrupted, we get his dk version before, lorewise is good to see it

  • Since it can't attack heroes, it doesn't seem very good. 3 mana just to trade with a couple of small minions isn't that worth it, at least not to me

  • Not being able to hit face kills my interest in this card. Sure, you should be using it as board clear, but not even having the option to swing for lethal in the lategame makes it so much worse.
