Although this isn't exactly surprising considering Blizzard has cancelled all their other reveal events due to the ongoing sexual harassment lawsuit, it is great to have confirmation that as of now, there will not be a final card reveal stream for United in Stormwind.
We don't know what is planned at this point. There is supposed to be a client patch tomorrow for the new Battlegrounds hero skins which means that the new cards would be arriving in the same patch. Either we're going to see a random dump in the next 24 hours of the remaining cards or we'll just have to datamine them all - which would be very interesting!
I expect we'll get an announcement at some point today from Blizzard about the fate of the reveals, unless they all appear in half an hour which is when the stream was rescheduled to. Either way, be on the lookout because we'll be covering everything right here on Out of Cards.
I have reached out to Blizzard for comment but a comment was not made in time for posting.

What a bunch of cowards they are! >:(
Im not surprised to be honest
It's just quite amusing to see how they have to deal with the same Cancel culture actions that they have been applying to some players in the past.
The most recent I recall, is how they canceled Zalae from all HS championships without of any official court hearings or investigations. And now people cancel them (and Blizz even have to cancel themselves) just due to unproven accusations.
Of course, there is no smoke without fire. But I would rather wait for the official results of the investigation before judging.
I don't understand this attitude that the only way a person can make up their mind about an issue is waiting for the justice system to prosecute it and bring it to trial. There is plenty of information out there, plenty of detailed accusations in the investigation by the State of CA. Yes, there might be a trial that adjudicates some kind of punishment or compensation (or maybe not, they could settle), but that doesn't stop you from reading and having an opinion.
opinion on accusations? yes indeed, but lets not forget that justice does not work like that. "Innocent until proven guilty"
im willing to bet theres sexual harassment going on in the company but we cant already pre-determine that the ppl accused are guilty.
“Innocent until proven guilty” is a very important principle. If the State of California announced that they were going to skip the trial and just imprison some Blizzard executives or fine the company millions of dollars, that would be a horrible miscarriage of justice. I’m very glad that the government is held to a strict standard of proving guilt beyond a reasonable doubt, even if it means some criminals go free.
But that doesn’t mean every citizen should hold themselves to that standard. You’re allowed to break up with someone because you THINK they’re cheating on you. You can decide not to be friends with someone because you HEARD they’re a jerk. And if you hear that there’s evidence that a company is hurting people, you can decide how to react. The world outside the courtroom is more nuanced and complex than the one in the courtroom, and you simply can’t avoid making judgement calls that might help or hurt the wrong person.
It really is your choice. Personally, I expect to keep playing Hearthstone unless I hear that these problems were all throughout Team 5 as well. And I’ll feel guiltier about the part of my payment that props up credit card companies than the part that goes to Blizzard. But I totally understand why some people are choosing to cut back on the game, or even to express anger about the allegations before eventually playing again. If the chaos right now means that the reveal season is interrupted, then that’s not a miscarriage of justice. It’s a case of people doing their best in an imperfect world.
i see lots of ppl dont care about this. proven until guilty means nothing. got it.
you ppl already decided someones guilt out in the open. imagine being accused of something u havent done but because you ppl like to make your own decisions based on ear say ppls life are ruined.
go ahead and donwvote this one as well, just because im giving the accused the benefit of the doubt.
I've read and made my opinion, but this doesn't mean I'm going do anything particular about it.
I'll wait for the investigation results. And if I dislike them, then I'll think about appropriate actions.
Judging and punishing somebody by my own without trial is like lynching to me. Digital lynching.
If this were Hearthpwn this guy would have like 30 likes, glad to see we are not there.
Dude, it's an investigation from the freaking state of California. I understand your point with Zalae, but with this one... We're almost sure they're guilty. The only thing we can put in doubt is HOW MUCH, but some shit has been done here mate. It even involved suicide (!!!). If this was a regular case, the state wouldn't need to be involved. It only does when the shit is real and the case is impossible for individuals to manage.
Your concern for a streamer is one thing but how is Blizzard, a large corporate entity, being punished by us? We made angry comments on social media? We decided not to pre-order their next expansion? That's not punishment. If we misjudged Blizzard, it's fine, they'll recover.
What if there's never a trial because they settle? What if they get away with it because of a technicality (Bill Cosby)? What if you see someone punching someone else in the face? Do you wait for the trial to decide what to do?
By the way the investigation is complete. That's why they sued: https://www.dfeh.ca.gov/wp-content/uploads/sites/32/2021/07/BlizzardPR.7.21.21.pdf
The trial is not over.
First, I stop them if I see that I'm physically able to, otherwise I call the Police. Then it would be nice listen to both of them.
And what actions have you personally taken against discrimination in Blizzard?
By the way, it's also quite amusing to see how centrist comments here first get likes, but then leftists come and dislike them to the ground.
Kinda disappointing. I agree that they could've given forewarning about the stream so that those invested in it would know not to make plans. Not the end of the world, but still, it's poor communication.
For what it's worth, I really dislike the streams and the "banter" that goes on with them (ditto with the announce videos) so would prefer a card dump.
What I'd really like to see is only like 20% of the cards before launch day, so that we can be surprised by all the new cards day 1.
I hope Runeterra and Magic bring in the same revenue to this site that Hearthstone did.
I do not understand why this comment is at negative rating, they're concerned that Hearthstone may suddenly die over this controversy (although unlikely) and are worried that will effect the ability of outof.cards to stay online.
Who downvoted that?
Edit: Seeing my own comment here get a negative rating... just trolls being trolls I guess...
Doomsayers are annoying af and there is no way this is the end of HS.
It's totally fine that they cancel the stream to show support to their fellow employees. What is not cool is giving the community false hope and cancelling the reveal at the last minute. The community is already on the edge after the recent events. Also, it sucks that there's no communication at all.
I'm hoping they just upload the cards to the online database for us to see. That would be fine for me but still, No communication = totally not cool.
At this point you have to start asking those still loyal where the line is.
I found the line with the lawsuit and Blizzard's public reaction to it which was very disappointing that they denied it all when the lawsuit perfectly described the culture at Blizz still.
When is too much?
I don't necessarily disagree with this sentiment but, if you're going to be consistent and boycott every company's product due to bad behavior within the company itself, then you're going to be living an Amish-style life pretty quickly.
Had more to do than just this latest lawsuit.
This latest lawsuit for me is the line.
Hearthstone isn't my first Blizzard game and have been playing most of what they have for well over 10 years.
Some things they improved upon so all good.
Others are getting worse. Don't find it worth my time to deal with them anymore. So many games out there to play instead.
BUT not supporting a company due to a long history of sexual abuse and racism is a very good reason to stop supporting them and doesn't happen very often so I won't fall into an Amish lifestyle. Most people understand how to treat others respectfully. The ones that don't shouldn't be a company at all.
