That....is pretty damn sick and can spiral out of control really fast. I hope they playtested this enough.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
Questline support. This probably never comes down as a Tempo play, but dropped with an Overload card to hide it behind the Taunt.
Again, it is nice to see a good number of cards to support an archetype. I think this will be quite frustrating to see come down and immediately hide itself behind 2-3 taunts.
Unfortunately, common sense isn't as common as it should be.
Decent overload pay off. Getting extra minions out of your cards is strong, especially with taunt.
Casual Dragon Cardgame enthusiast.
Too slow, and too cumbersome. There no chance you're saving up overload cards just so this card can shine, and even if you manage it its only spawning 2/3s.
The only god play this card has is a turn 4 Lightning Bloom into two more overload cards. Even still the tokens have a mere 2 attack which means it doesn't necessarily take value trades all that easily. And you've just emptied your hand for this.
4 mana is too much, enemy can easily kill this with a spell, too.
The worst of the overload synergy cards, just too much of a tempo sacrifice.
I cannot say enough of how much I like this card. The 4 mana to get it out is kind eh, but the 5 health it carries is pretty fun and if you have Lightning Bloom you get something to protect it right out the gate and potentially something else on top of it with the mana you get from that card. A good soft taunt as well
Awesome card! It shouldn't be hard to spam a lot of taunts off this, especially since you can unlock overloaded crystals again.

It's ok but 4 mana means late to get impact.
Time to revive overload shaman.lol

Seems good, since a lot of overload cards are cheap, but for some reason I feel like this should have been a 0 attack totem.
Obvious support for a questline deck. This should help make that deck just a bit stronger.
This card might be too slow, but it has potential....
Lemushki - The one and only since the 2006 rebranding.
In general, I'd like if we got more totems instead. Such a big part of shamans.
For the quest one already needs a bunch of overload cards. This isn't overload. Maybe it helps one live.
Chumbawumba is the worst band name.
This can spiral out of control real dang fast with Lightning Bloom and how cheap Overload cards tend to be.
Hey, you heard about that Mario guy?
Purple wolf? Don't mind if I do. In all seriousness though, this card is a great value and anti-aggro generator, which would help when you're overloaded. I'm voting 4/5 stars coz the art is badass as well
TREMBLE before.... the most legendary dragon that ever existed!
too slow
I am 69 years old and still reach Legend
Slow, but I like the effect. I do wonder if the Spirit Wolfs will have the Beast tag though? I guess they will not.
Woah .. I was already looking forward for the Overloaded revived package
I went from interested to excited to try this out.
Flavor is also funny : Just like in the natural world, the alpha of the species is bright purple.

So... Overload support should actually be a little bit better.
Without Overdraft or Lava Shock it's not a great way to gain some taunts, and by the time you play this, it's easy to have some 3-5 damage board clears.

Sounds nice, but then you think about it and it doesn't sound nice

Seems really cool for control shaman decks, but outside of that i dont see it realistically in any shaman deck. Personally i'm not a big fan of this card, but i admit that it does have some potential. I think the shaman questline deck is probably more burn focussed, and i dont think Spirit Alpha fits in that deck. But still a 2/5 body can be quite sticky and hard to remove.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
It has synergy with itself as you generally want to hide cards like these behind a taunt such that hopefully, you can profit from its effect a little longer. This might get slotted into Quest Shaman as a tech option if there are many aggro decks in the meta.
Arena > Wild > Standard
This on mulligan plus Lightning Bloom and Lightning Bolts is a very powerful tempo swing, the next turn you take off overload with the 1 mana spell
Looks like a strong anti-aggro tool, that also synergizes with the questline during the completion steps
Seems good enough Overload support. Protects itself and you while you clear the board with Overload spells, presumably on the way to completing the Questline.
