Considering how long quests will take to complete this sounds pretty reasonable.
Unfortunately it competes with Venomous Scorpid so as long as 3-attack weapons don't run rampant there's little to no reason to run this instead.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
I wish they could make neutral cards that CANNOT be used by certain classes. Like Priest. Priest should not be allowed to discover any more spells.
"Be excellent to each other." -Bill and Ted
Not sure this will see play in Quest decks. Questing Explorer was so much better than this. Why would ever run this over Venomous Scorpid?
Arena > Wild > Standard
Really fair card whose best use is in Mage or Hunter it would seem. Could very well see some experimenting with in both.
Strong in a lot of the questline decks and great for wild Quests as well. Nice support card.
Casual Dragon Cardgame enthusiast.
Venomous Scorpid is simply better. It has 1 more health and 2 more attack, but scorpid can and will kill anything without divine shield.
But if you need a discover card without the beast tag, and you're jamming quests, then this card will suffice. Maybe if you're running aggro quest, then the 2 additional attack is pertinent. Otherwise, nah.
At first I thought "this is pretty good!" but yeah, you're completely right. Man scorpid is busted.
That card proves that Venomous Scorpid is a broken card.
By The Holy Light!
Obviously strong in the spell based questlines. Possibly useful in some of the others as well. I think it sees limited play.
Unfortunately, common sense isn't as common as it should be.
Excellent card. I love Discover card so much, and add the fact that there are so many quests that will be assisted with this, it's a great inclusion. Only reason it's not an auto 5 is that not all decks will use quests
Nice, not one of the best regarding quest-supportive cards but still pretty good.
Wild quest mage.
Autoinclude in any quest/questline deck.
Lemushki - The one and only since the 2006 rebranding.
Autoinclude for Questline decks
Rogue DH
In the 3 mana cardslot we already the better Venomous Scorpid which is strictly better and does not even have a conditional requirement.
So sad that this is outclassed by Venomous Scorpid, but on the other hand, you could just run both in the same deck.
As for the Questline decks that want to run this are going to be Mage, Priest, Hunter, maybe Demon Hunter, Shaman, Druid, and Paladin. Rogue, Warlock, and Warrior all much rather focus on the quest itself and most of the spells probably won't advance the quest.
Hey, you heard about that Mario guy?
Excellent tool to all quests. Especially Hunter, Mage and Priest IMO.
In wild is even better. Yay!
Papa Nurgle wants to share his gifts.
Venomous Scorpid is 100 times better than this card, it's a complete joke. I guess you can run both if you want all that extra value
TREMBLE before.... the most legendary dragon that ever existed!
Rather than go through all the questlines that will benefit from an extra spell, I'll just say that Mage will probably like this.
At first I thought this was a cool card to support quest decks. And then everybody reminded me that Venomous Scorpid is the same only stronger and without the quest requirement.
Carrion, my wayward grub.
I don't know how quest lists look, if they're tight on space, but this seems like it could see play in a quest decks looking for value.
Chumbawumba is the worst band name.
plenty of the questlines might want this for it to see play, so it is pretty good

This is deckbuilding bait.
No Quest deck should run this over Venomous Scorpid. While one may think "wow, Quest synergy, must include", Scorpid is just a better card. A 3/4 that's only active for some of the game or an infinite/3 that always gets you a spell. The choice is obvious.
Put your faith in the Light!
3/3/4 that discovers a spell. It will be used in any questline deck
I am 69 years old and still reach Legend
Insta-include for any quest(line) deck. Just amazing.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Mandatory lubricant for new mechanic - team 5 did their homework
"If you're a city guard, you have to tell me. Otherwise, it's entrapment."
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
Strong generator for any quest deck, but scorpid is probably still a better inclusion.
Strong support for quest decks, even in wild
Given its stats, it's probably an auto-include in most (if not all) quest decks, since there's really no downside to running it
Alright in longer Questlines, especially ones which make use of spells themselves. Kind of rubs up against Venomous Scorpid, but maybe you run both?
