...Is this the first time that a card has been powercrept by...itself?
Just not sure if there's a point to playing this, even in Zoo. I guess it gives you a guranteed target for your various sacrificial shenanigans.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
Weakest of all mounts and I don't think this will ever see play, but I still applaud their efforts to bring back Dreadsteed in a clever way.
Arena > Wild > Standard
Good to see Dreadsteed again. I wasn't a big fan of it before (especially after it got nerfed to only resummon at the end of the turn), but it gives you a target to sacrifice for all the "Deal 1 to a minion, if it kills it..." cards or other sacrifice plays. Also gives Warlock a semi-permanent ping every turn which can be helpful in either chipping away at the opponent or setting up favorable trades.
Wheee....more Dreadsteed. I don't know what the gameplan on this is supposed to be. Do you use it for sacrifices? I guess the persistent ping is good to have but it feels awkward.
Unfortunately, common sense isn't as common as it should be.
Tamsin's Dreadsteed
I mean, cool. I like dreadsteed as a card. Not sure what I'm gonna do with it but still, free sacrifice outlet. Cool.
Casual Dragon Cardgame enthusiast.
I want to like this. But I can't.
Too expensive for zoo, and can be silenced in a meta where Im sure Royal Librarian will be everywhere. Wonder what it means when it reads 'at the end of the turn'? Is this false advertising ala Neeru Fireblade again?
Dreadsteed has always been cool, but this just doesn't really fit in anything, sadly.
I miss the pre-nerf dreadsteed
I'm really intrigued to see how dreadsteed can do in the current standard, my guess is not much, but I want to believe since I've always been a fan.
I don't get it. Why not just "summon a Dreadsteed"? We had Giggling Inventor summoning OG Annoy-o-Trons. This should be the same thing.
"Be excellent to each other." -Bill and Ted
More consistency for the dreadsteed deck.
Beautiful flavor.
Not really a great card, but amazing flavor nonetheless.
Papa Nurgle wants to share his gifts.
DREADSTEED IS BACK BABY! YUHUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
Lemushki - The one and only since the 2006 rebranding.
Endless Dreadsteed until your opponent plays Devolving Missiles, or some kind of silence or something.
Dreadsteed <3
The horrifying sound of the infinitely returning Dreadsteed is coming back to haunt me some more. Yikes!
On the plus side, if you manage to play this once, you're basically guaranteed to be able to play the second copy when you draw it! Then you can make use of all the board buffs like Wicked Whispers...
All said and done though, I think Zoo pales in comparison to Questline Warlock.
Hey, you heard about that Mario guy?
More build your own deathrattle.
Chumbawumba is the worst band name.
a new Dreadsteed
it had some use in the past
I am 69 years old and still reach Legend
even if it is discount on Dreadsteed it is still not good

Should be very fun to play with Dreadsteeds again. Could do some fun shenanigans in Standard with Vectus for some meme value
TREMBLE before.... the most legendary dragon that ever existed!
INFINITE DREADSTEED?!? Finally they are giving us pre-nerf dreadsteed. (If i remember correctly they nerfed dreadsteed because they realised it would be broken alongside Defile.)
However i feel like this is just.. not good enough these days. Even in wild it just seems bad. Sure it makes defile go "infinite", but the thing about that is that i beleave there is like a 15x cap on it, so Defile triggers like 15 times on the Dreadsteed? (If i understand it correctly) Sure its a board clear, but it ruins ress pools because Dreadsteeds are demons, and it just removes board slots.
The best use i can think of is that Dreaded Mount gives a perfect target for zoo decks to cast things like Ritual of Doom on, just like how they normally use egg cards. But even then 1/7 minions you can have is a 1/1, and 2/7 minions if you cast Dreaded Mount twice.
Sure Dreaded Mount might have been amazing a couple years ago, but these days it just seems bad.
Edit: Apparantly it's just Dreadsteed. Not even pre-nerf or anything, just Dreadsteed on a spell. Wow this card is probably the worst card in the entire set.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Oh man, this ... brings back memory of Grand Tournament release.
I was playing around with good old-unnerfed Dreadsteed and Baron Rivendare, testing the limits of swarming my own board - those were the days
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
The good old Dreadsteed. It's good to see you again... the nostalgia
Seems a bit too weak, but I might be wrong. Don't think it's worth playing it at 3 mana, honestly
I'm happy to see Dreadsteed return. I don't particularly think it's that good, but it's fun to see again.
