Masquerade Ball

Greetings! I am sure you have many questions when looking at this mess of cards. So let's get to it.

Why would you do this?

The minute I saw Maestra of the Masquerade I thought, "how long can I stay hidden?" That is the idea behind this deck. Keep your opponent guessing.

Is there a game plan?

Yes... maybe. We first want to use our draw or tradeable cards, with help from Auctioneer Jaxon, to dig through our deck. The goal is to find Wyrmrest Purifier to turn our cards into the "class" we are hiding as or Lady Prestor to transform our amalgam of a deck into something more threatening.

Can we survive?

Hopefully. Our watchposts and Encumbered Pack Mule can hopefully slow the game enough for us to have some fun.

Can we win?

Possibly. If our cards become dragons, maybe that's enough. If our cards become purified, well Tess Greymane is here to help. Playing her reverts us back to our true nature and can replay all our other class's cards. Worse comes to it and we draw none of that, we just fatigue 'em! Brann and Coldlight untransformed will still hurt while we can keep our cards recycling with clever use of Togwaggle's Scheme or a Baleful BankerValeera the Hollow is also an extra punch to give us more cards to play with the Shadow Reflection.

Will this work even a little?

Nope. But hey, it looks like a fun idea. Good luck in Stormwind and may you keep hidden!

Dane played an Even Reno deck just like this, and one of the clips on his YouTube video of the deck he's Demon Hunter.  EVEN Demon Hunter... LOL

Haha, oh yes, this is one that I've got to try out, if only for the cackles when you play Tess and your opponent realizes that it was a ruse all along, fool!

If you really want to tease your opponent (at your own detriment), you could include cards that reveal cards in your deck - Spiteful Summoner, Grand Archivist, Keening Banshee, Gadgetzan Jouster, Armored Warhorse, Fel ReaverMaster Jouster, The Skeleton Knight... that may be all the options, actually.

In testing (yes I crafted the Purifiers for this but no Jaxon yet) Playing Tess does not reveal you prior to the battlecry as I was hoping. Ah well. Still a blast to play. Doesn't win much and when it does it's usually before the reveal. Still amusing concept.
