Blizzard has added in a new card back to the game, the Gift of Elune card back, and it belongs to a new Puzzle! This is the second card back to be added this way, the first being the Mysteries of the Phoenix card back only a few months ago.
This card back is related to a new set of Stormwind gameplay achievements named "???" with the description "Burn my sight.".
- The first achievement has 1 criteria.
- The second achievement has 2 critera.
Completing these tasks will reward you with 300 and 500 experience respectively and the new card back. The card back internally is called "Card_Back_Jennifer_Brozek", which may name a concept artist who has previously taken part of a Hearthstone concept art challenge, though not for a card back. Don't go hounding them for answers though, that'd rude!

Anybody make progress on the 2nd puzzle yet?
You get a board full of minions of different tribes on one side, and on your side a single mystery minion flanked by two copies of the opposing minions that seem to be selected randomly and change everytime the puzzle resets.
You have a hand full of cards that you can use on the mystery minion. Each one represents a different tribe. The first time you use a card on the mystery minion it transforms into a 0/1 minion of that tribe (not related to the opposing minions though). After that you can play 6 more cards before the puzzle resets again. These add a digit to the minion's stat values, corresponding to their position in hand (left to right, 1-9, then 0).
Literally 0 idea what is going on there. Tried to transform it into a matching tribe to copy the statlines of the flanking minions, but that does nothing. Tried some adding and subtracting numbers, but that also lead nowhere.
One thing I noticed is that while the flanking minions on the bottom row (your side of the board) are random copies of minions on the top row (opponent's side of the board), two things are always true:
My guess is that the flanking minions represent some kind of operation or filter you have to apply to the top row.
It looks like each minion represents a 7-digit number: the 3 digits from attack, 3 from health and 1 from tribe, where tribe is the digit with the lowest significance, followed by health, followed by attack, since that is the casting order when you build your 7-digit answer on the question mark minion.
When at some point I entered the number formed by all the tribes from the top row (so basically just cast the spells matching the top row tribes from right to left), I got a board of different minions. I don't know whether this always works or whether I got lucky that the flanking minions happened to ask for that.
Edit: It seems I didn't make progress at all. Apparently after a certain time the server changes which minions you are given for phase 1.
I wrote down the top row as a 7x7 grid of digits and tried to input columns from that grid, but except for that one time I never saw any progression.
So apparently the Discord solved it by now. The puzzle essentially has two stages. A warm-up stage to introduce the concept and a second stage with multiple phases that is truly diabolical.
I'd recommend checking out the solutions in the discord itself, it's a bit hard to sum up, but basically the first step involves adding attack, health and tribe number values to get to your own personal solution.
In the next step you'll be presented with a Chronobreaker on your left and a Buccaneer on your right, whose stats are identical for all players. The discord kind of failed at this one until Celestalon explained the way it was supposed to work which is truly out there. Apparently the randomized opposing board isn't all that randomized and there would be players out there who would have a Chronobreaker or Buccaneer with those exact stats on their board. The challenge was to collect enough data to know what the total "chain" looked like and figure out which exact minions were between the Chronobreaker and the BUccaneer to then add those stats up like in step 1. Pretty damn crazy design and one of the lads even suggested it as a possibility but they just didn't have the data to test the theory.
I had the exact same observations as you did and I have also no clue whatsoever what needs to be done to solve the second puzzle. Perhaps the WOW Secrets team had more luck in figuring things out and report back to us with hopefully good news. Seems like this puzzle is slight more complex even when compared to the first one because it has been quite silent since the server hotfix went live.
The second puzzle is to play
oh so that's why it did that after you completed the first step.
I was wondering what the lore was supposed to be there, but it's literally just a direction to the next part.
Here's the solution to the first one:

The second puzzle has been confirmed to be broken by celestion on the wow-secret finding discord. Guess we will have to wait a bit before unlocking the cardback.
EDIT: The first mystery has been discovered solved. Click spoiler if you'd like a link to the solution.
Druid: Oracle of Elune + Moonfire
First step found solved! To unlock the first puzzle play the following cards in practice mode: -Play Oracle of Elune -Play Moonfire on Oracle of Elune Thanks to Zestyclose_Welcome62 on reddit for finding this one! Thanks to Windjammer on Discord for solving the puzzle!
Unfortunately the puzzle seems to be even more confusing than the last ones. No directions or hints whatsoever on what you're actually supposed to do.
My only guess is that you have to make it so all the weird portal thingies have matching health on both sides. Killing a portal resets the puzzle, using the hero power swaps the opposing board with your own previous board state. Once you attack you essentially transfer the opposing board on to your side. Everything else doesn't make sense.
Also, fair warning. If you click on the end turn button the game will crash. If you try to start it back up again it will attempt to reconnect and then crash again. It repeats this until it decides it couldn't find your previous match. Don't click the end turn button.
I must confess I only understood how it worked after I saw a solution, but for those people who are stuck on the mechanics and don't want a full solution, read on below:
The hero power makes you change direction (north/south). You'll continue walking in the new direction until you flip it again using the hero power.
Every time you visit a location, its counter decreases by one. The goal is to make all the counters on the map reach one.
it didnt work?
You have to Moonfire the Priestess I think
ye
Pretty sure you have to download the latest update first which will be available later for mobile as usual.
It worked for me. Went into match vs Innkeeper, used Moonfire on my own Oracle of Elune and I am in a puzzle that I can't solve
yep on the puzzle now
I completed it and the achievement popped up "??? (Tier 1)" and then the game crashed and it says I didn't do it.
Second time did the trick.I hope the puzzle doesn't give us brain damage like the last one , but hey at least the card back is worth it this time
Alright, hear me out guys, but what if we just… mill Spectral Sight
