Nice callback to Cryostasis and equally garbage. Unless that minion is Al'akir you're not doing anything with it for 2 turns which makes this pretty much just an occasional discover option. I don't think we need to stack our Bearon Gla'shear that desperately.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
Hmm this seems quite bad, but maybe it has some potential? If only Living Dragonbreath was in standard lmao. Still, Free From Amber was quite good, if only to discover a BIG taunt. So maybe Freeze shaman or some control shaman deck might include Glaciate just to try and dig for a big taunt?
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Why is it bad? You play 8 mana minion for 6 mana and get a freeze stack. Even without freeze u couldn't make action with him first turn, and you have nice 8-mana drops - Mo'arg Forgefiend, Plagued Protodrake, Abominable Lieutenant, Arcane Devourer.
What's the most powerful card in Hearthstone?
A credit card.
This is too slow. I don’t think freeze decks want this.
Cryostasis was bad, and this is in the same vein. By the time the minion can attack, it will already be turn 8.
Nope. Not unless you can guarantee summon a taunt.
Chumbawumba is the worst band name.
In Arena you better draw some value like the taunt. I don't like this card because it's too fingercrossy, yes fingercrossy should be a word.
I haven't looked at the pool. Way too lazy but I know it isn't reliable. I mean fuck it, pick it for the fun i guess?

The only time this card is even remotely significant is when you get a taunt minion up because this thing isn't moving for 2 turns.
Don't think we'll be seeing much of this card anytime soon. Its likely more significant as a filler for other classes to unfortunately get/discover.
Could see some niche use combo with Stockades Guard perhaps? I dunno. I want to like this, but unlike other similar cards like Cenarion Ward, the fact it starts frozen may be too much of a drawback.

Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
Easily the worst Frost shaman card, I don't want to pay 6 mana for something I can't use for two turns.
It doesn't seem bad for me. If I remember well a frozen minion that doesn't attacked get rid of freeze on next turn. So you are paying 6 mana for an 8 cost minion, now the pool of 8 mana Minions are usually strong, if you manage to get an taunt or another effect it will be a huge plus
Probably the worst frost spell for freeze shaman. This is only good if you discover a taunt minion. Other than that, it's a waste of 6 mana.
TREMBLE before.... the most legendary dragon that ever existed!
Might see some play in Wild if someone will ever decide to use Moorabi for memes. Also, Wild has more 8 mana "at the end of your turn effect" to actually get any instant value out of it. In standard, will probably be played when discover turns into unlucky territory.
Seems decent. Play this on 6, your minion thaws and you can use it on 7.
Certainly this is the least exciting Frost spell Shaman got, but it's not bad because the 8-drop pool is very limited in Standard (only 11 cards for the Shaman 8-drop discover pool). Two of those have taunt (Al'Akir the Windlord and Mo'arg Forgefiend) and one has immediate impact on the board despite being frozen (Abominable Lieutenant). Even if those are the only good options (because otherwise you're not having much of any impact on the board on turn 6), you're still going to get one of those about 66% of the time, making this a decent card in the right meta. It's not necessarily good enough to be a 2-of in Frost Shaman, but given the synergy with Bearon Gla'shear I'd say it's playable.
With a great set up, you could be looking at a possible dropping this T2 (The Coin + 2x Lightning Bloom), but other than that, freezing your own minion is NOT a good thing, especially with things like Snap Freeze lurking around
While it seems busted to summon an 8 drop for only six mana, you don't get to do anything with it until turn 8 due to the freeze effect. That is plenty of time for your opponent to figure out a way to deal with it. An obvious exception would be a taunt.
Unfortunately, common sense isn't as common as it should be.
I think the comparison to Cryostasis is a little unfair, as that also required you to play a minion yourself, whereas this is the whole package in one. Still not that good, but like... not that bad.
Welcome to the site!
There are a couple of good 8-Drop minions, and the Discovery effect means you've got a better chance of hitting one. I don't expect this to see play except in Frost Shaman decks that want to run as many Frost spells as possible, but it looks fun and I'll certainly be trying it out (I just have to make sure I open Barorso)
I don't want to cure cancer; I want to turn people into dinosaurs.
Maybe you get lucky and discover a Taunt to summon so that the body is actually relevant, but seems too slow otherwise for the mana cheat.
Hey, you heard about that Mario guy?
Slow! Might be decent during the first expansion of the next Standard year since the minion pool will be the smallest at that moment.
I can see this being good after completing the Legendary quest, but just by itself it seems rather weak.
