Nice Addition for Aggro Demon Hunter :)
Challenge me ... when you're ready to duel a god!
Token DH will be able to make good use of this. Glad it's not a Battlecry like we've seen in the past.
Not too bad in Token DH. Scaling 1/6 at 3-mana is hard to deal with.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
At first sight this looked like a worse Darkshire Councilman but on turn 3 Flag Runner is a much better tempo play provided you have minions in play already and that one extra health can go a long way.
Arena: There are better 3 drops out there, but decent tempo card notheless.
Constructed: Just a stat bomb. Probably won't see play.
Arena > Wild > Standard
Finally some decent token DH support, unfortunately it is a BIT late. Like serieusly, most token DH support rotates next expansion. Token DH will REALLY need some good support to be decent, otherwise it will remain unplayable this expansion... and next year. So lets hope Token DH finally gets the support it needs, because that deck always seemed interesting.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
The only positive I can say is that this is better Flesheating Ghoul due to the higher health.
Hey, you heard about that Mario guy?
I think there may be too many conditions to be met. It probably won't be the worst card, but I expect most other 3-drops will be more attractive.
The comparison this begs is to Darkshire Councilman - same cost, nearly the same stats and scaling, but one triggers off of summons while the other triggers off deaths. Obviously the former is much easier than the latter to get value from, but with Feast of Souls in standard as a payoff for Token DH, I think it's easy to see how it wouldn't take much to make this a powerful payoff. Not an obvious 5-star card today, but I'm hopeful about its chances as the expansion cards are revealed.
Its basically Darkshire Councilman, and having 1 additional health really makes it sticky enough to survive past turn 3.
But its supporting an archetype that hasn't been the same ever since the last core rotation where they removed Umberwing, Wrathscale Naga, Nethrandamus, and Command the Illidari
All token dhunter needs right now is a viable finisher, and this card just isn't it, because it basically curves from nothing and curves into Coordinated Strike, which wastes 1 mana. Still, a nice start. Let's hope towards more support to come.
Arena... Is gonna say no (so constructed as well). We don't like cards that tend to get us in a bind when synergies don't work and you're stuck with a lousy 1/6 that you're forced to play with no upside. Avoid at all costs.
I mean honestly it just doesn't do anything. At best you're going to get a 3 mana 2/6 or a 3 mana 3/6 most of the time. Nice stats when it's timely, sure. Imagine drawing this in the late game though.
The Only Constructed Deck Worth Playing:

It has potential on paper, but it seems a bit slow for what it is on the turn it is played.
Of course, you will then be able to sacrifice quite a few illidaries with rush, but ... still
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
Token DH support when most of the support was moved to wild 😒 Might be good on Standard rotation when the new Core set is introduced, but other than that, won't see play.
Has potential in Duels where you have the illidari HP
TREMBLE before.... the most legendary dragon that ever existed!
Honestly, the Darkshire Councilman is not a very good one, because there is a huge difference between summoning minions and killing them. You could play a Darkshire Councilman on an empty board on 3 and expect him to rise to relevancy on 4 with any card, you can't do it as easily with Flag Runner, you need exactly the Rushing tokens.
There is one exception, though, and that is Sigil of Summoning, which curves way too well into Flag Runner. So, if the 2/2 statline becomes more impactful (the meta has too many 3 Health early game minions right now, though), Flag Runner will probably see play.
Rating cards on coolness factor rather than predicting power because I like screwing up rating averages (and because I suck at predicting real power levels, but we'll ignore that LUL)
Wins per class (2/6/22): DH-197; Druid-996; Hunter-91«60; Mage-1056; Paladin-1126; Priest-746; Rogue-961; Shaman-1095; Warlock-871; Warrior-906
Terrible card, Flesheating Ghoul was never good and neither will this be.
I guess this goes good with Coordinated Strike. Not sure what else there is, but anything that puts 1 health minions on the board should help.
You either need to be running a bunch of those Illidari summons spells, or a metric ton of crap weenies to make this any good. I can tell they are trying to make the Darkshire Councilman, but not make it breaking and it feels like it fell short
Like Darkshire Councilman, but the opposite. DH has already had cards that like it when it kills off small tokens, but none of those were good enough to make the deck work and I doubt this one will be any different.
I don't want to cure cancer; I want to turn people into dinosaurs.
A Darkshire Councilman with 1 more hp but slightly less attack gain, I think it’s the better card.
It's big and sticks, but it is kind of hard to have that many minions die. Still, will be run in token DH.

It's stickier than flesh-eating ghoul but requires more setup. May be decent in arena but for now I'm writing it off.

Any reason why they did not give the flag to feral druid?
Oh, no. I've tried the token stuff before. Not galling in this trap again.
Chumbawumba is the worst band name.
Another decent synergy card for token DH. Any token deck will benefit from a card that buffs based on something happening to large numbers of small minions. The stat line makes it so there is a decent chance it can survive for at least one turn.
Unfortunately, common sense isn't as common as it should be.
Very good on a token deck, if not killed rapidly can snowball very easily
Huge Health on that minion - feels pretty safe to just drop it and know it'll survive a turn, then buff it up with Rush minions dying.
Welcome to the site!
Alternative Darkshire Councilman which will see play in Token Demon Hunter. I doubt it will scale fast enough to make the deck relevant though.
I can see this destroying an enemy hero in one swing with some Expendable Performers shenanigans!
