It’s now even less surprising that they felt that they needed to get rid of Vanish
Lol its basically the tempo rogue that exists plus the burgler and a pilfer. U dont use this as a wincon. Its an added one. Rogue doesnt have a turn 1 btw. U jam this quest in without no problem . Plus the shark gives u double battlecry and stuff like vendetta backstab and the the rush 2 mana 3/4 minion helps u recover tempo.
Ppl need to forget about past quests where they were wincon alone.
Looks like card, who will be nerfed 2 times and still be ok. 4 cards it s too simple only bad thing - you must bring bad first turn with bad 1 card at the start of the game, but you just need 2 blink foxes, 2 cats, 2 hench clan yada yada thats all, no need useless doesn't working thief rogue. This weapon can push face on turn 5 or 6
rofl this shit won't see any play on high legend ranks in uldum expansion (unless there is more support for quests not shown yet). Maybe 1st week people will play with it a bit but there are so obvious downsides of this quest that I'm very surprised ppl saying it's good. It can be decent in future but for now it's nearly garbage.
How exactly there is no support for this quest?How is it bad.People already play blink fox, hench-clan burglar,pifller.Now its pharaoh cat and bazar mugger.The reward is insane too, remember fiery war axe for 2 mana?Well this is fiery war axe on steroids ur gonna get on average on turn 5-6.This is an incredible card.Only downside is that it's shitty, boring design.
pilfer is not worth taking, fox doesn't work against other rogues, cat can give you a nonclass card, you can't play cat turn one because of the quest, you start a game having one card less, mugger seems like a weak card to be played in constructed. This hero power is not worth the effort needed to make it work. Rogue has no problems at all against spam decks right now so why do you even need this hero power?
Piffler is worth taking in order to complete this faster(there is still enough space for anti aggro cards), there is not that much rogues as there was before in April and May, mostly mages, so fox is fine.Cat has bigger chance of giving a class card.Actually mugger is bad i agree, still more then enough to complete the quest though.This hero power barely requieres effort to work, you don't even need to play the cards you got.This hero power is good if you are planning to play (actual) thief rogue with tess, which plans to survive untill lategame (exactly what this card does help with),play Tess, scheme and repeat.I do think that it wont fit in normal tempo rogue, piffler has nothing to do there and there are basically only 4 cards in that deck which steal stuff.
I'm toying around with the idea of using Witch's Cauldron as the main activator for this. With the Lackey package there will be many 1/1 bodies to sacrife to Cauldron.
Damn, thats a creative idea, but looking at the new stuff revealed i think it would be overkill.
this is basicaly standard odd rogue and you can put smorc card there you just need 2x blink fox 2x pilfer and its done
People are overrating this card. It won't be game breaking. I played lot's of thief rogue recently both in standard and wild. And you have to have that healing. The quest reward contradicts Spectral Cutlass and without it I don't see how can rogue survive till the endgame. So it can't be the control killer deck.
If you play the usual tempo deck with some of the burgle cards you won't complete the quest that early. On avarage I'd say around turn 6-7. After that the weapon is very strong but aggro could have killed you till that point. And I don't think Dr. Boom cares if you had a 3 attack weapon.
What I love is this could be huge against mage. It will be a lot easier to clear the giants.
Maybe the deck can be focused on finishing quest as fast as you can with some non-optimal burgle cards and the weapon carries the game, I don't know.

4 card seems way too low. I would like about 5-6. But we will see.
Blizzard will nerf it at least 2 times.
This will consistently help Thief Rogue to control the board.
Having played a lot of Tempo AND Tess rogue separately this definitley fits into Tempo better.
Tess is more of a control deck and relies heavily on a never ending Spectral Cutlass.
In Tempo however this is pretty insane. You can activate it by turn 5 incredibly easily via cards like Burgle, Blink Fox & Hench-Clan Burglar to name a few. Don’t forget the echo card either. You’ll have issues playing against fellow rogues though but the same can be said for playing Tess Greymane in these situations.
I think this is incredibly powerful simply because it’s so easy to activate and is such an upgrade. It’s got a built in Deadly Poison and you’re immune. You could in theory kill off giants without taking damage if you have 2 x deadly poison and Captain Greenskin however this seems a bit slow for the cyclone mage curve. Turn 6 on coin you could start going to town on them. It will be really good against aggro though and as people have mentioned will work well with Blade Flurry.
