So the obvious comparison is Deathwing, Mad Aspect. UNlike Deathwing this only targets enemies so it's an actual tempo play, but unlike Deathwing it comes with much lower stats and a higher cost.
Now personally, I would love to see Handbuff Warrior return in some fashion and this could be a fantastic top end finisher, especially since it can also go face (although I would assume it can only hit each target once). Getting +2/+2 on this makes it more than reasonable especially if you still have a board to soften up the enemy minions.
If, for some godforsaken reason, this can hit face three times it's absolutey bonkers and is a one-card win condition for any control Warrior deck which is (precisely why i don't think that's the case)
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
"mini" Deathwing, Mad Aspect that you can run 2 copies off, AND only targets enemies. But it has less stats and costs 1 more mana. Still warrior does have acces to Provoke, so if it survives you can still kill a bunch of other minions. This seems quite decent...... Wait... wait wait wait... "three different random ENEMIES" oh... my... yogg... it can go FACE.
Alright this will see play in a lot of warrior decks as a finisher, or as the most expensive card of the deck. This will 100% see play in a more midrange warrior deck, and in control warrior because it can act as a "mini" Deathwing, Mad Aspect.
In wild it wont see any play, because it's 9 mana. And it faces competition from Deathwing, Mad Aspect.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Well I really like that flavor for a Hydra beast, 3 heads, 3 attacks, much flavor. Definitely optimistic about this card seeing as it can go face and with Conditioning (Rank 2), that means a Pyroblast to face and removing 2 other minions.
The question though is: Will Trenchstalker survive all that damage taken? Or is it just an expensive semi boar clear?
TREMBLE before.... the most legendary dragon that ever existed!
The beauty of this card is its ability to hit face. And therefore it rises from junk to worth instantaneously. But honestly, even if it couldn't, it'll likely be another Deathwing, Mad Aspect, or a one sided board clear, where its survival is secondary, but impossible to ignore if it did.
Ive seen plenty of good cards go down the drain simply because they were too expensive, but this card might actually make it because its going to be doing what you want of it fairly often, which instantly sets it aside from comparable mana slots like Rattlegore and Troublemaker, and on top of that even if your opponent simply plays nothing you can then punish them with 8 damage to the face along with an 8/9.
Ive not doubt that it'll see some play, assuming that we do go back to a board centric game again.
This can hit the opponent's face... which means it is extremely good. It could do a lot of damage to the board if there are minions you don't want to deal with. The qualm here is that the current meta will have this thing take lethal before it could go face, let alone be left standing on the board after that. I think it will see play, but not as much as it's predecessor Deathwing, Mad Aspect.
I think this one is pretty good because it can also hit face! clear some small minions perhaps and hit face ... i like it!
Challenge me ... when you're ready to duel a god!
A more expensive Deathwing, Mad Aspect that also doesn't have the ability to wipe an entire board if necessary. It also doesn't have the best stats for eating minions (Conditioning shenanigans, perhaps?). Considering the part of the game where this comes down, it probably won't "eat" more than two minions before dying and I don't think it will make too much of a difference. And it can't just go face three times.
I don't want to cure cancer; I want to turn people into dinosaurs.
This looks pretty strong. Though in the late game, I wonder how often it would have enough health to not die after attacking two minions.
Oh, thank God it's random DIFFERENT enemies.
Thought we're getting 24 Face on Turn 9.
As others have mentioned, the fact that this can hit face makes this more valuable than I initially thought.
Still, decent effect - flexible wording - but rather slow
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
...Conditioning Warrior comeback? Seems super slow even for that unfortunately...
Hey, you heard about that Mario guy?
It looks like a strong card, and it has the potential to hit face too, but it seems a little out of place. Not sure it'll see much play outside Arena.
