Solid midgame value card for a variety of decks, I wonder if she's strong enough to just build the entire deck around in some capacity.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
This looks like a pretty solid, balanced card. The relics don't seem powerful enough to break the game (other than Ring of Tides, which could lead to some shenanigans), which is a good thing. I expect this to pop up in a variety of classes.
Very good, solid and seemingly balanced card. I bet this will see a lot of play, because it has something for literally almost every class and deck.
Ring of Tides is amazing for any slower/value deck, or any combo deck that wants to double up on something. I can see this relic being VERY good in decks like Burn shaman, or normal Questline Shaman. Maybe some druid deck in wild might also be able to use this relic well. There has to be a lot of combo potential with this card. Looking forward to seeing what Markmckz will do with this relic.
Xal'atath is amazing for Aggro Shadow Priest, or some other kind of aggro priest deck. Mainly because of Voidtouched Attendant. Defend the Dwarven District Hunter will also LOVE this relic. This just boosts that decks power in Standard and Wild. (As if it needed to be stronger....)
Horn of Ancients is amazing for almost any deck. It's good in tempo/midrange decks and in slower decks. Getting a cheap collosal minion seems like something that can give you a very powerful turn, which may swing the game in your favor.. or win even harder than you were before... even though it takes some mana for casing Horn of Ancients and the collosal minion, so it doesn't really scam that much mana. Horn of Ancients is still potentially the best option for most decks, because it's just that flexible.
Tidestone of Golganneth is also good if you want to prevent Fatigue dmg or if you want to search for some kind of card that can win you the game. Tidestone of Golganneth seems good in burgle rogue cuz spells of any class, and of course it's a powercrept Deck of Wonders so obviously casino decks in wild will run Queen Azshara just for Tidestone of Golganneth. (At least i will.)
Queen Azshara will see a lot of play, and i really hope she is the free battle pass legendary. (And i hope she has a diamond version of both herself AND the relics. That would probably be some gorgeous art.)
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Auto-include in pretty much anything that runs spells as more than a supplement. This is gross. Shadow Priest with this and that damned weapon along with the support Priest is getting in this expansion so far will be great. Hopefully, we will see more Shadow spells to support it
So I feel Queen Azshara will be good in certain decks, but only for a certain ancient relic. For eg: Shadow priest and Quest Hunter would always choose Xal'atath, while Big Spell mage will favor Ring of Tides.
Ofc though it depends on your current board situation, like if you low on cards, you may want to choose Tidestone of Golganneth just for the draw.
This is ofc, the day 1 legendary I will craft... maybe golden
TREMBLE before.... the most legendary dragon that ever existed!
Maybe she'll be on the Reward Track? Could be the diamond, too
Its power level is near Heistbaron Togwaggle, in that the rewards matches the conditions required to make it happen.
The main problem with this card is the conditions itself. 3 spells are not easily played out, especially in slower decks, and you can't even topdeck this into a win con, it has to be in your hand for the longest time. My prediction is that team5 would print something that will generate some token spells, or perhaps we'll all just move on to Kobold Taskmaster, just so we get some cheap spells to trigger these cards. Because there's little to no chance control warrior can do it without spell generation, if its not in the hand on turn 1.
But if you can get it done, then this card is amazing. There's no need for further explanation; every one of the treasure is good in some capacity; the worse one is possibly Xal'atath, and that card can deal 10 damage on its own.
Dont be too surprised if this card gets nerfed one way or another, because Ring of Tides may well just be illegally broken. Its practically a one mana any spell you want, any time you want, as long as the spell was the last casted.
Very good - gives lots of value and for 5/5 for 5 Mana is also decent. This surely will see play!
Challenge me ... when you're ready to duel a god!
This is going to see play in some variety of deck. I almost wonder if a slow-ish Rogue deck pairs this with bounce effects (although it could be losing Shadowstep--finally--in the new Core set, and Potion and Tenwu are also leaving) for ultimate value. Those Relics are decently strong enough that I wouldn't hate finding a way to fit her into a deck or even building the deck around getting those relics. Either busted or a fun card for players who like value.
I don't want to cure cancer; I want to turn people into dinosaurs.
I'm not sure which relic would be the best. Ring of Tides and Xal'atath are the least RNG reliant, but drawing two cards on its own is damn good for 1 mana, and any colossal would be insanely strong at 1 mana.
She is so cool and versatile! I want this to be meta defining!!
I like the flavor of the whole expansion too

Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
The Ring and the Weapon are mostly the choice to make, though the Horn could be good for the amount of stats they provide. Good top end for Naga decks, but I'm not sure if she's good enough to be required for them.
Hey, you heard about that Mario guy?
The Queen herself! Super strong, versatile, and great flavor! Can't wait to get a golden one. <3
