Interesting card and even tough the targets are chosen random this can be pretty good ! Could also work pretty well with Radiance of Azshara.
But i guess the random factor makes this card a little weaker .
Challenge me ... when you're ready to duel a god!
Seems a little difficult to use given that you have to have three other specific cards in your hand to get value from it. That being said, it is essentially four cards in one, which makes it great if you can utilize it consistently.
Carrion, my wayward grub.
Seems really OP on paper but in practice, what are you even doing with this?
The best Fire spell is Don't stand in the Fire, which is purely removal. Frost is even worse, because you're not gonna run Glaciate just for this and Nature? I can't even think of any big nature spell in Shaman right now.
Just feels like a card they designed for Mage, realized how broken it would be and then tried to fit into any other class without giving them any real support.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
Its a card with all the potential in the world, but let down by shaman's shitty post rotation spell pool.
I guess there's still the core set reveal, possible giving us some actual spells that may save this poor thing. Eye of the Storm would be a good start. I mean, they printed this card in the next expansion and therefore they must have thought that through in some way. We can only hope that it'll give this card a semblance of a competitive use.
Big Spells Shaman is something I've always wanted to see be a thing, so hopefully they've printed a few good Big Spells for Shaman to cast with this. Because, let's face it, you're not putting this in a deck so you can cast Windchill, Scalding Geyser, and Bioluminescence. Might be good, once it has the right support.
I don't want to cure cancer; I want to turn people into dinosaurs.
Seems VERY powerfull in theory, but when you think about it.. it's not that good. First of all, you need to hold 3 different kinds of spells. If you don't hold exactly those 3 spell schools, the effect will be a lot worse. Not only that but the bigger question is: "Why don't you just play those cards before". Are you really going to be THAT greedy to "play" a bunch of cheap-medium cost spells. The only deck that this might fit into, is Big spell Shaman. Which isn't a thing because shaman doesn't have big spells. After all, Tidal Wave WAS shamans most expensive spell and it's rotating. Which means that unless they print some Big spells for shaman this expansion, shamans highest cost spell with a spell school is Glaciate at 6 mana...
At least Glaciate is actually decent alongside this card, but still i don't think Wrathspine Enchanter is going to make running that bad card worth it.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Super pricey... But WHOA!!!!!1 What a pay off!
Could be good if Shaman has a good deck that uses those spell schools. You'd probably want them to be big spells.
To me its the "Target chosen randomly" that is off-putting ... then the fact that I'm not sure which would be the ideal spells for such effect. It will at some point find its home, but I doubt we have the existing archetype already to make this work
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
Don't think Multicaster Burn Shaman wants this, nor do I think that Big Spell Shaman will be a thing... at least not this expansion. Worth keeping an eye on in the future tho.
Hey, you heard about that Mario guy?
Random targets means this will be unreliable and there will be only 3 fire spells in standard so this card probably won't see much play till there's more fire spells in the standard pool.
TREMBLE before.... the most legendary dragon that ever existed!
The stats are weak, and the targets are random, so I'm not sure this will see any play.
