Seems decent, but DH essentially has the same card and it stopped seeing play after Ashes of Outland. Probably really good in Arena though, imagine playing a vanilla minion that can help you plan your curve.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
Good card. Sightless Watcher but it's neutral and swapped its health and attack. Will see a bunch of play. Especially because it always gets you the card you need. After all, the card you need most is ALWAYS the one at the bottom of your deck. And if you have 2 copies of it, both are on the bottom of your deck. So now you have a way to finally fetch those cards.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
A pirate that allows you to prepare the curve can help any tempo strategy.
Rogue, priest and warrior can take profit of It!
By The Holy Light!
Its likely to be bad outside of quest warrior. There are better 2 drops available, and this card does nothing the turn its played.
Sightless Watcher hasn't seen play since the start of AoO when dhunter was completely OP in every other way. I fully expect this card to share its fate.
No one mentioned that this card improves Pirate Warrior by a fair margin: being able to decide what you'll topdeck will be beneficial for the archetype. I think it won't be enough for it to be good, but it does certainly help.
Spice Lord and self-proclaimed Meme Master.
Seeing the pirate tag makes me cringe, but guess we'll be getting more pirates anyway seeing as it's a sea based expansion.
Simple card to showcase the new mechanic, will probably see play in Quest Warrior but that's it
TREMBLE before.... the most legendary dragon that ever existed!
Good addition for Pirate Warrior!
Challenge me ... when you're ready to duel a god!
Just a filler for the dredge effect
Pretty unique tutoring mechanic, I'll give them that, but otherwise kinda bland. Not sure if the tribe tag will matter for this one.
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
I don't feel like checking what Pirate Warrior will be losing after rotation, but if it still lives, this will probably be in it. Not sure if you'd want to play it on curve. It would probably only be worth it if you can dredge a good 3-mana card, give or take 1 mana.
Maybe this could be an option for defensive decks too, where it could be very important to find your early game removal against aggro. Depending on the other avaible cards and if is aggro important enough that you an small minion to raise your chance for early removal.
Maybe (with an even smaller chance) this could help combo decks if there is a need for more tutor cards (even this is no "real tutor").
Anyways: I really like the card, because I think it has a "fair power level" and has a potential as a "solid filler card" in different decks. I will try this card for sure, becaused I liked Sightless Watcher when it came out.
I see you!
This sees play in Pirate Warrior, and Pirate Warrior alone, and that's because it's a cheap pirate, hardly because of the Dredge. If any deck wanted to Dredge cards, they're more than likely going to play the class specific or cards that do things besides Dredge, because as Sightless Watcher demonstrated, being able to pick your draws is nice, it's just not as good as simply drawing a card.
Hey, you heard about that Mario guy?
It's an OK minion for Pirate decks, essentially a worse Harbor Scamp, but Pirate Warrior is losing just enough other Pirates (mostly expensive ones, pending the new Core set reveal) that it could do worse than a 2 Cost 2/3 draw-fixer. Probably not an all-weather minion for Constructed in decks that don't care about Pirates.
I don't want to cure cancer; I want to turn people into dinosaurs.
Good stats for it's cost (lol, pun itended), hope dredge mechanic seem play, I think it's very powerful effect to know exactly what you will get for top deck
A solid Pirate that also has Dredge. Will be included in Pirate Warrior (and possibly Pirate Rogue, too).
