On paper this card is amazing because its like giving paladin, one of the most vulnerable class, a cheaper and better Houndmaster Shaw
But the reality is that this card is limited by its scope. You can buff it so it covers more minions, but that means spending more mana which isn't something you want to do defensively. And at 3 base attack its only ever rushing out 1-2 drops which isn't amazing.
Still, I've always said that paladin's inability to affect tempo is the one weakness of the class in the current standard. This card patches some parts of that, even if imperfectly.
Cheaper and probably better Houndmaster Shaw, and it is also pretty good when buffed. This seems decent.
The only problem i see with this card is that Blood Matriarch Liadrin seems best when your behind and want to retake board control... Which is a problem in aggresive decks. After all, if you lost the board chances are that you probably don't have many cards/minions in hand to combo with Blood Matriarch Liadrin. AND on top of that, maybe thanks to some aura-effects like the Paladin Questline you might summon Silver Hand recruits that have too much attack, making it so you cant use them alongside Blood Matriarch Liadrin... Honestly now that i think about it, i fear Blood Matriarch Liadrin might be too akward to play... This is basically kinda like a Reverse-Rokara. Rokara is at its best when you have lots of minions on board, and Blood Matriarch Liadrin is at it's best when you dont have much on board.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Definitely going to be a prime target for Blessing of Kings, and you'll be really happy if Lightforged Cariel's hero power hits this. Not that Cariel has any trouble winning already.
Gotta love cheap & effective legendaries; this one has great combo potential and flexibility, allowing you to hand buff the heck out of her before the payout! 10/10

I'm not really sold on this legendary yet, just coz you need a lot of setup beforehand. It might work in a Cariel control paladin but you still need to buff this minions attack first, play the card then another minion to receive the divine shield and rush. Seems a bit too slow, unless you forego the hand buff and just slot this into an aggro list.
TREMBLE before.... the most legendary dragon that ever existed!
Depending on how easy it is to buff this could be amazing. Just imagine the combo with Lightray
The only problem is the lack of good buff spells so far. Handbuffing won't work because you're usually also buffing what you want to activate with this effect.

This card is so bad that it will be buffed in the future! This effect is meaningless, even if this card has 10 in attack it's still garbage!

The question I have to this is if it would trigger on summoned Silver Hand Recruits if you have played the recruit buffs? The reason I ask is that when you drop Cariel and summon a recruit, only AFTER it hits the board is it recognized as having the buff... So could this enhance it further, or would it be lost on those summons?
Pretty good piece for Aggro decks, just being able to react and trade to the board.
