As the Battle for Silvermoon rages on, a massive shadow blots out the sun. To their horror, the Blood Elves see a floating necropolis, Naxxramas, approaching their fair city. This evil entity is unnatural, but something about it feels familiar. They brace themselves and call for help. This is the March of the Lich King Mini-Set, Return to Naxxramas!

Return to Naxxramas, launching worldwide on February 14, consists of 38 new cards: 4 Legendary cards, 1 Epic card, 17 Rare cards, and 16 Common cards. Those new cards can either be opened in March of the Lich King Packs or purchased as a complete 72-card set.* Normal versions of the Mini-Set can be purchased in-game only, for 2000 Gold or 1500 Runestones. The all-Golden version can be purchased for $69.99 or, for the first time ever, 10,000 Gold. The Golden Mini-Set option also includes a bonus Diamond Legendary!

Return to Naxxramas unlocks Death Knight’s full potential with the class’s first Location and Colossal cards! But the Lich King isn’t the only one getting support. The Mini-Set also includes all-new Dual-Type minion creations, advanced synergies, and a terrifying new way to win the game! Check out the official Hearthstone Card Library for a full reveal calendar as the necropolis draws near.

  • Evolve Shaman is sitting here laughing to his heart's content when seeing Blazing Transmutation

  • Is there an Arena rotation happening when this releases?

    • probably yes

i have my two "losses" stored :)

  • "death beetle" more like death of this game if they let guff's effect stick around for another year i swear to god

    • When Guff rotates, they could easily drop the Manathirst requirement to 10.

      Could.

  • Rogue:

Stitched Creation - wow, 10/10 for 3 mana with all requirements, strong even with 2 activated

Jolly Roger - no idea what deck it could fit, wild quest rogue?

    Ransack - just worse Vendetta

    Druid:

Death Beetle - that'll be useless next expansion xD Buuut... this card could suggest that druid will get new cards which increase his mana limit.

Life from Death - come on, Nourish draws 3 cards and costs 5 mana. Now wait one turn and play it for 1 mana, or not because you can increase your mana crystals with something and you will still have mana to play this. Candidate to nerf, infuse (8) or (10) or (20)?

    Rake - Savagery POWERCREEP!!!11oneone

    Warlock:

Nofin's Imp-ossible - so many memes in this one xD

Suspicious Peddler - ooooh, Dark Peddler is back! Now with a drawback!

Plague Eruption - aoe for discolock? But warlock have tons of these... Hellfire, Demonwrath, School Spirits, Grimoire of Sacrifice etc. Definitely warlock got worst cards this expansion.

It's Infuse, not Manathirst. Still, with Scale of Onyxia, it's not far off.

      • Right, my bad. Then this is replacement for Famished Fool. Still crazy strong and must have in every deck.

  • Druid and shaman cards look nuts.

    Warlock and rogue...well, enough said.

I guess warlock getting another AoE and rogue getting another Vendetta is fine. Fortunately Ransack doesnt look like a miracle card, but I can be wrong on this one. Its basically a better Backstab most of the time.

    Friendly
  • 2 Mana Soul of the Forest?

    This is insane! x_X

  • 1 mana draw 3, goes in every druid deck. Will be nerfed for sure

    • or they avoid nerfing it (the problematic card) and rather go for evrything else around it.

      Wouldnt be first time

  • If Death Beetle is a sign that Druid will still be able to exceed 10 mana after Wildheart Guff rotates, I will be at a loss for words

If Death Beetle is a sign that Druid will still be able to exceed 10 mana after Wildheart Guff rotates, I will be at a loss for words

My thought exactly, but chance are, it will happen somehow. Sucks.

    • or guff in core...

Which if they do that; im not touching standard at all that year.

Ive hated guff since he came out (personaly i want him gutted, not even just rotated out as i dont think increasing max mana cap shouldve ever been thing in first place)

    • The flavor text says "Well that'll be useless next expansion. WINK WINK."

      • The flavor text makes me think they'll introduce a new mana ramp spell in the next expansion to the effect of "Gain an empty mana crystal (can exceed 10 mana)"

    • It has to, right? Otherwise they just printed a card that is basically unplayable if you don't own a single specific legendary and said legendary leaving the main format in two months.

      Friendly
      • They have made bad/dumb decisions before

But if no way to inrease max mana, or atleast not in first expac at launch.

That blow anything else out of the water for how dumb thing that would be to do.

So really has to be new way/guff in core.

Or else i dont thnk anyone would have any trust in their design decisions anymore like ever at all.

  • beetle, lol, lmao
