Hearthstone Titans Quick Info
- Titans launches on August 1, 2023.
- New Keyword: Forge
- Drag these cards over your deck to upgrade them into their "forged" form. This costs 2 mana.
- New Keyword: Titan
- Minions with the new Titan keyword have three special activated abilities that they use instead of their normal attack.
- Each turn, including the turn you play them, you can choose to activate one of those abilities.
- Once an ability is used, that ability can’t be chosen again.
- Once all three abilities have been used, the Titan attacks normally instead of with its abilities.
- The Magnetic keyword is returning!
- Every class is getting a legendary Titan card.
- Every class is getting a Keeper card.

Quote From Blizzard Before the age of mortals, the titans came to the world. Legendary Titans and Keepers
Each class gets a Titan, a celestial being born of a world-soul like Azeroth’s. Minions with the new Titan keyword have three special activated abilities that they use instead of their normal attack. Each turn, including the turn you play them, you can choose to activate one of those abilities. Once an ability is used, that ability can’t be chosen again. Once all three abilities have been used, the Titan attacks normally instead of with its abilities.
The Titans created powerful keepers that they imbued with some of their power. The keepers were left to create, nourish, and protect the fledgling life on the planet. The denizens of Azeroth would worship these keepers like they were gods, and many great myths were written about them. Each class gets one of these world-shaping Legendary minions!

New Keyword: Forge
Like the titans and the keepers, you can hold the power of creation in your hand! Cards with the Forge keyword can be dragged over to your deck and upgraded into its Forged form for two mana.
Returning Keyword: Magnetic
The titans brought advanced technologies to Azeroth, creating massive cities, complex machinery, and mechanical beings. Some of these ancient Mechs come with the returning keyword, Magnetic. Magnetic minions can be magnetized to other Mechs already in play.
Prison of Yogg-Saron Login Reward Available Now!
After the titan-forged armies defeated the Old Gods, the keepers were tasked with watching over their prisons. The power of the Old Gods was contained for a time, but now their influence has started seeping through.
You hear Yogg-Saron whispering to you, “Login now to get the Legendary card, Prison of Yogg-Saron, Hearthstone’s first-ever neutral Location!”* Don’t try to resist, Yogg-Saron can give you just what you need to win your game. Surely, nothing bad will happen if you were to use just a little bit of its power…
* Limited one per account. After Patch 27.6, Prison of Yogg-Saron will be granted upon opening your first TITANS pack, instead of upon logging in.
New Signature Looks
The Signature cards in TITANS will have a new art style, representing their history, mythology, and grandeur. Here’s an example from the TITANS set:
There are a total of 15 different Signature cards in TITANS. Signature cards can be disenchanted for the same value as if they were Golden cards, but Signature cards can’t be crafted. Instead, they can only be opened in packs, purchased in shop offerings, or earned through special means, like in-game events.

I wish they had made Radio Star a collectible card in the previous expansion instead of printing Fate Splitter now.
I mean, the optimal statline for both formats is different, but damn, I like the flavor of Radio Star so much I think it's a shame it doesn't get to be a collectible card.
Edit: the expansion looks cool, especially the Titan cards.
My comments on the expansion and cards;
- Titan cards will likely be similar to hero cards in that they are very powerful, easy to fit into any deck, and will likely be in contention in every deck from their introduction.
- Its likely you cant discover titan cards, similar to colossus minions but getting one out of random effects (like evolve) will likely tilt the game. Looking forward to titan cards eventually being impossible to obtain outside of deck inclusion
- A bit worried of titan cards in general. Because the gameplay patterns looks like 'play titan first and win'. Moreover it also forces every deck to need an answer to it. You cant realistically allow these things to stay on board past their first turn. Even aggro decks cant do it without losing.
- Forge as a keyword is a bit of a weird one. Its either going to break the meta or remain neverplayed. On one hand, skip an early turn for a later big payoff (Cyclopian Crusher is a good example of this. Imagine turn 3 6/5 rush) and on the other hand is being completely destroyed by aggro.
- That rogue card is scary precisely because its so bad. Looks like yet more tribal trash, an indication of how the next expansion will go for rogue? Well, that class will always somehow get top play rates in legend regardless
The mega bundle contains a diamond Zilliax? Sweet! Why?
There are only eight named Titans in WoW, nine if we include Azeroth. It'll be interesting to see if some of those unnamed Titans that Sargeras killed are getting canon names.
EDIT: Also, my predictions for each class's Titan, from the ones we know:
Aggramar to Paladin, since he is the grand commander and the one who empowered Tyr.
Golganneth to Shaman, since represents storms.
Khaz'goroth to Warrior, since he's the forgemaster of the Titans.
Argus to Demon Hunter, since he's fel-corrupted and was the final boss of Legion.
Not really confident predicting Amul'Thul or Azeroth, since they don't speak to any of the remaining classes.
One of the devs said on twitter they had only 9 lore-based Titans and added two Hearthstone-only Titans, at least one of them being female and the Paladin class Titan. I can dig out the source if you want to, but I think it was Cora.
Isn't sargeras technically a titan as well? A fitting choice for warlock I'd say
TBH I thought Sargeras was so obvious that I forgot he wasn't among the ones that were revealed.
I have the feeling Sargeras will appear in the miniset, which will be centered around him.
Apparently one of the sneak pics in the reveal schedule shows something that is very likely sargeras.
Its unlikely that they'll push him to the miniset because there's not really many titans to begin with (apparently they even needed to make up 2 of them for hearthstone alone)

the titan idea is great, clearly taking inspiration from planeswalkers in mtg. however, whatever underpaid card designer decided to give the druid one a free reno is actually smoking meth, completely terrible idea. everything else is cool, but that shit is going to be broken if it launches with that.
From the cryptic runic hint on Twitter to the actual reveal of the expansion name, it didn't took too long!
