How'd Your Pack Opening Haul Go?

For anyone who did pre-release opening, how was your haul?

I got out of 133 packs:

Dinotamer Brann

High Priest Amet

Bazaar Burglary

Hack the System (bleh)

Octosari

Colossus of the Moon

Only one of those I really wanted... Still quite a few missing on my wish list. Hopefully I get my wants with the free goldens, and with the gold I have to spend.

  • My repeated attempts of opening my packs has not worked.  Probably because I made no effort to go to a FSG.  Doomed to wait till Tuesday!

  • 133 packs, 7 legendaries (0 golden), 31 epics (1 golden). I pulled the last one on the 132th pack so it will take some time until i get the next one with gold. Could have been a lot better.

  • 83 packs - 5 legendarys and 19 epics. Including a golden hunter quest.

     

    I only bought the big bundle, I might purchase the other one before the deadline as the final card reveal had some interesting cards.

     

    Plus around 2k gold so with another 70 packs to open I should have more than enough cards to play several decks with. Still got the golden cards to come and the free quest.

  • I opened 82 packs, got 5 legendaries. Pretty good haul, almost everything I got is in my wishlist, with the exception of the Mage quest.

    I plan to buy around 50 more packs with my in-game gold. My only gripe with this expansion is how shitty the epics are...almost every epic I got made me groan.

  • Ordered the 80 Pack Bundle & got:

  • 133 Packs, 5 Legendaries and 33 epics.   But I am happy, out of 33 epics i only got 2 duplicates.  I will open 90 more packs with gold on Tuesday.

    Some of you that got 10+ legendaries on 133 packs should be super happy.

    I still have 90 packs to open on Tuesday with gold, and then of course the 2 golden Legendaries and the free quest.

  • Started out really slow but ended up with 7 legendaries (4 that I really wanted!)

  • 5 legendary in 133 packs. Reading that people got 10 or more in the same amount makes me sad 😭 I've still got another 70 packs to open with gold so hopefully will get a little luckier with those. 

    • Feel like I got the lucky end of the stick here ; 12 Legendaries in 151 packs ..! I really don't mean to rub it in your face, I just want to share my experience so other may also knows that the tales are true ; simply statistically unlikely. To top it all up, my golden legendary was Siamat !!

  • Really disappointed this time, opened 53 packs and got:

    Colossus of the Moon =trash

    Armagedillo =meh

    Unseal the Vault =trash plus I hate hunter and barely ever play this class

    I got some useless epics, too. I got the stupid meme-obelisk, two copies of the 5 mana 8/8 mech and some more epics I am really unsure about.

    So far I have no idea what kind of decks I want to build on day 1, I got 30 more packs from gold coming plus the quest and legendary you get, really hoping for something nice there, otherwise I don't know what to do :/

    Elise the Enlightened - wasn't super into this one but i'll take it, especially since I also opened

    Zephrys the Great - booyah

    Siamat - definitely strong so that'll work

    Colossus of the Moon - I guess i'll use it in the Paladin Quest?

    Also got Dark Pharaoh Tekahn from preorder which is definitely one I wanted, as well as Bazaar Burglary which I expect will be OP 

    22 Epics as well which was nice, although FIVE of them wereDiseased Vulture :/

    All in all: didn't get exactly the legendaries I wanted (Armagedillo y u no luv me?) but I'm not mad about any of them (big "F" to those who opened Hack the System

    I think Zephrys granted my wish before I get to play it.

    After that I also got a Golden Legendary Anka, the Buried before I opened any packs.

  • Worst experience I have ever had in opening HS packs, although not that terrible in a grand scale

    Got Corrupt the Waters and Octosari from 30 packs, but I got like 10-15 terrible packs [4 commons and 1 rare]. Very happy about the Shaman quest that I got. I got Activate the Obelisk as a free quest, which was okay too.

      dude, 2 legendaries in 30 packs is awesome! you should lower your expectations if you think this is awful.

      That's an above average opening. Why does that make it your worst experience ever

  • Will open packs later, but Mage Quest (ok w/ that, though not top 3 I wanted or bottom 3 I hated)...

    Golden Finley of the Sands... (1600 dust baby!)... was hoping for Golden Anka (or a playable legendary).

  • 60 packs (10 from gold, 50 pre-order) I got 3 legendaries from it. Then i completed the legendary quest and got another legendary on my last pack! 

    i unpacked both the Priest legendary & Priest Quest. And i unpacked the hunter Quest as well. The legendary i got from the legendary quest pack was armagedillo.

    From the pre-order i got a golden Zephrys which I'm happy with, and the free quest was the mage one. Not bad!

  • 46 packs. I've got lucky with my free quest (shaman) and I've opened the hunter quest from packs, no other legendary so far, waiting for other datamined quests. I've got nine epics, three of which were Desert Obelisk, so someone better find some busted deck for them :D

  • 253 packs and along with the two Pre orders I bought I have everything. Except for some inexplicable reason I had to craft Sir Finley of the Sands which was painful... 

  • Mine went pretty bad but I won't be too upset because since i started playing i usually get almost everything i want so the luck was bound to run out.

    I got all the bad quests (paladin, hunter, warlock, mage) but I did get the quest I wanted most (druid).

    What really tilted me was all the trash epics I opened.  3 mogu, 2 cultist, 3 totem axe.  8 epics that are all neverplayable.

  • out of my thirty one packs, I got a whopping grand total of one legendary, Armagedillo. I was hoping for any one of the following: corrupt the waters, untapped potential, zephrys, brann, supreme archeology, making mummies, finley, siamat, or even colossus of the moon. 

    I am a little disappointed because my free quest also was not ideal. but I know I will get another legendary in the next few packs, so I am still hopeful.

        my free quest was the rogue one, it is pretty good, but I have no other rogue cards, so I might just end up dusting it. I would have rather gotten the druid, shaman, warlock, or hunter one.

  • I opened my first 15 packs, and had 3 legendarys.

    Armagedillo seems good, will be able to craft a cheap taunt deck,

    Elise the Enlightened interesting,but I miss to many legendarys and epics for a highlander deck,

    Dinotamer Brann: again, do not have the nessecary good cards for the highlander deck.

    But, even if i do not really like my cards, it's 3 out of 15 packs! And I still have 45 to go!

    At least better than Rastakhan's Rumble -- 5 legendaries out of 120 packs on opening day.

    Class to get all its legendaries: Warrior (Shaman after crafting).

    Came to Class on First Day: Warrior, Priest, Shaman, Mage all missing one card.

    Ditched Class on First Day: Druid (no legendaries or epics, and missing a single of a rare).

    Complete Set: Shaman after crafting Corrupt the Waters.

    Moment of Angst: In a cold streak of packs (would be 35 packs long before another legendary) and getting a pair of Sunstruck Henchman and Generous Mummy cards in a pack while a friend opens a golden High Priest Amet.

    Legendaries My Friends Get: Three [Hearthstone Card (Hack the Systems) Not Found] and King Phaoris seen, with one of each being a golden version.

    Changed card back periodically during opening for superstitious reasons. Used Elise's Journal 1 legendary), Thrill of Victory (1), Stolen Thunder, Awesome Blossom (1), Lemonade, Sparkles, Power Core (2) and Shado Pan (2).

  • About 70 packs.  Got Octosari, Making Mummies, and Dark Pharaoh Tekahn.

    Raid the Sky Temple was my free quest and Anka, the Buried was my golden legendary.

    I got a lot of epics though.

  • Out of 145 total opened today I opened nine legendaries, got two free, and crafted one.

    Free golden: Octosari (and my only golden legendary)

    Free quest: Untapped Potential

    Opened: High Priest Amet, Anka, the Buried, King Phaoris, Unseal the Vault, Raid the Sky Temple, Reno the Relicologist, Making Mummies, Sir Finley of the Sands, and Hack the System.

    Despite being just over a 16 pack/legendary average today in my openings, it felt really bad at times!  I hit the pity timer TWICE!  But made up for it by having two double legendary packs.  Prior to today I've only ever opened a double legendary pack ONCE, playing since release, and today it happened two times!

    Also, my only craft so far has been Zephrys the Great, because why not?!?!  For most epics I seem to have opened one copy of them, a few have two, some have none.  Own all Commons and Rares of the set.

    So I start this expansion with Freeze Big Spell Mage Deck. Pretty fun deck with something like Turn 6 1 mana King Phaoris, or a 5 mana Puzzle Box of Yogg-Saron.

  • I caved in and splurged on both bundles, then bought an additional 40 with in-game gold for a total of 173 SoU packs. I only got 8 legendaries from the packs, which is pretty terrible. My free legendaries weren't too good either, but I'm excited to try them out anyway.

    It felt like I was opening a lot of epics. Free quest was Untapped Potential - not counted in the 5 above.

    I bought 9 packs after winning one in brawliseum for a nice round 10 packs to open. 3rd to last gave me golden Zephrys the Great! The next pack after that was one of the best packs I've opened in a long time, with a rare, golden rare, 2 epics and Supreme Archaeology.

  • Between the pre-order, spending all my gold and a good Brawlesium run I was able to get all the legendaries (I crafted [Hearthstone Card (Zephyrs the Great) Not Found] golden before opening because you know he'll get nerfed and still be viable forever in wild). On the downside I had to craft the epics I wanted because a lot of them I did not get 1x off. 

  • Awful, I opened 2 legendaries in 40 packs, and most packs were 4 commons and a rare, on the bright side it seems I won't be crafting commons this time around.. and at least those commons are very powerful as well.

  • After 2 expansions of not getting Warrior Legendaries as my freebie I got back to my tradition in full swing..

    Got both the quest and the Warrior minion as my freebies.

  • First time I've properly hoarded gold for a new expansion. Pretty happy with the payoff.

    Ended up with 57 packs including the 3 from the legendary quest.

    Got Unseal the Vault as my free quest, which has been working fairly well for me in a beast token deck.

  • I'm pretty happy overall, especially after my abysmal RoS experience. Out of 174 packs I got 11 legendaries (2 gold), plus the freebie and two preorder legendaries, 40 epics (6 doubles, 2 golden (which happened to be doubles, so 800 dust), all but one rare and all commons. Plus some 6000 dust all told. 

    Nine legendaries would have been average (more or less), so I'm ahead of the curve which is nice.

  • I bought 82 packs, but after opening 8 of them I discovered that I bought the wrong expansion.... luckily Blizzard was so nice to swap them with Uldum packs. I had 74 packs left, got 8 legendaries of which 6 quests :D
