I recently watched this video about the most interesting (and probably the most powerful) card of this set and wanted to share it with you, people. Some things Kripp says are kinda obvious, but most of them are very informative. To anyone out there who hasn't watched it yet, enjoy!!! :D :D :D

Jokes aside, need to watch it later kripp is very informative although not being much of a constructed player.
Damn, good video. Highlander Hunter is kinda fucked up lol. I hate the decks that punish you for literally playing cards. But good info on how Zephrys work.

Indeed, he made a point of what i was starting to think myself.
And all the complex mechanics are actually why Zephrys the Great is a fun card. When should I play him? What I'm going to get if I play it like this? Should I wait more or go for Tempo now? Maybe the most fun card in the game.
However, I also noticed that Zephrys can whiff sometimes, and "engineering the situation" is often complicated in terms of real game.
That's a pretty tough downside of the card, and what makes me think Kripp is wrong when he says Highlander decks are going to warp the meta.
Hunter is strangly amazing to play right now. It‘s so much fun to figure out a wincondition. I love secret decks in general because of the mindgames but Zephrys is the cherry on the cake.
The best part about this deck, it beats warriors! No draw issues, enough value and good tools to play around their removal. Zephrys into Thirion is totally a thing btw! They use the weapon removal on your eagelhorn bow (if not, they lose). Turns out Ashbringer is a nice warrior killer.
Brann turn 7 is crazy aswell. Cash in those 8 damage, destroy their armor. No shieldslam, no omega devestator, ... they often have to use brawl+ minions to counter this single card!
Some Zephrys plays that Kripp missed:
- Gorehowl for 7 damage
- Shadowword death or deadly shot for efficient removal
And early Zephrys plays have serious synergy with Zul‘jin

Haha, don't worry, I know you are joking. But don't forget to watch it later, the video is very informative. :D :D :D
Also, to the people constantly downvoting every single post I make, well, you are just wasting your precious time my beloved ones...
XD XD XD
I'm glad you liked it, sinti!!! :) :) :)
I'm pretty sure Team 5 is going to invest a lot of time to improve the code and algorithms behind Zephrys the Great in the future, the card is so cool it really deserves that kind of attention. ;)
I fully agree with you, Highlander Hunter is a blast to play!!! :) :) :)
@ Sherman
Thanks for posting the clip, tt was very educational. Now I really want to open Zephrys.
You're welcome, Kovachut!!! Hope you get it soon!!! ;) ;) ;)
Watched the video.. Tbh he didn't say anything new I knew my outs anyway.
I watched the vid before seeing this post. (Still happy to see someone mention it) It was very educational and helped me at least understand some of the mechanics better. Zephrys the Great might be one of the more/most skill taking cards, as you need to manipulate him into giving you the card your looking for, or you need to understand the combo Zephrys tries to give you, as Zephrys often actually outsmarts the player by giving stuff they didn't even think about. Such a cool card and definatly my favorite card in the game so far! Altho when i play zephrys the perfect card is most often Tirion Fordring
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Tirion is a big value card it's the best one in classic for sure, paladin decks in early hs always ran him and he was always a bomb to play and game winning so yeah if you are low on deck size he will offer you Tirion.
