A new balance patch is due to arrive tomorrow and so as Blizzard typically does, we've got a teaser showing which cards will be getting adjustments, but not the adjustments themselves until tomorrow. Check out the teaser down below and check back tomorrow, Thursday, for the full details once they are posted.
These changes will be live once Patch 30.6.2 goes out. Cards that have been nerfed (and Heistbaron Togwaggle) will be disenchantable for their full dust value for two weeks.
Quote From Blizzard This round of changes is focusing on preparing for our next expansion: The Great Dark Beyond, launching on November 5 (when Prince Renathal rotates back out of Standard). As we plan for the post-launch meta, our focus is primarily on adjusting harsh play patterns like fast board floods, powerful board wipes, huge life swings, and cards that get end-game cards out too quickly.
Some of these are reversions to prior changes—our balance philosophy remains that we’ll try to make the best changes for the game in each specific patch window and not be afraid to revert changes when they don’t work out or the circumstances are no longer right for them.
Finally, in Wild, we’re changing Radiant Elemental to be consistent with Sorcerer’s Apprentice. This effect is generally very powerful, even by Wild’s standards, and this change is being made with upcoming cards in mind. With this change, we’re also unbanning Crimson Clergy to give him another shot to not get himself re-banned.
Standard Changes Teased
Buffs
- Marin the Manager / Golden Kobold - Now also discounts the random legendary minions by 1 Mana.
Quote From Blizzard We’ve seen players primarily pick Wondrous Wand off Marin the Manager. As we weaken Wand, we’re giving some help to one of the treasures that isn’t picked very frequently, so that all the choices are more interesting.

- Yogg-Saron, Unleashed - Now costs 10 Mana (Up from 9)
- Marin the Manager / Wondrous Wand - Now reduces costs by 3 (Instead of to 0)
- Puppetmaster Dorian - Now costs 5 Mana (Up from 4)
- Treasure Distributor - No longer gives itself additional Attack
- Party Fiend - Now costs 2 Mana and has 2 Attack (Up from 1 Mana and 1 Attack)
- Crescendo - Now costs 3 Mana (Up from 2)
- Tsunami - Now costs 8 Mana (Down from 10) but only summons 3 Water Elementals (Down from 4)

Battlegrounds Changes
Quote From Blizzard Dev Comment: We hope you're enjoying the new trinkets in both Solos and Duos! Since the meta is still new, we focused our changes primarily on more notable power outliers. We'll be monitoring the game and make further adjustments as needed after The Great Dark Beyond launches.

Make your predictions on what is changing with each card in the comments below and we'll let you know tomorrow (Thursday) if you were right.
Comments
Lol, team5 actually destroyed marin and togwaggle in one move.
I knew wand was oppressive, but this makes the card more or less unplayable in all but reno decks now.
I've got to say I'm concerned about Wild. If Treasure Distributor is killed, the meta will slow down even more - a process that has started with the nerf to Secret Passage. The result will not be an utopia of "reasonable" aggro decks, some midrange stuff and control being viable. Instead, we'll find ourselves in a hellscape made of Reno tech piles and turbo combo. We're already seeing the light version of this with decks like Charge Druid (thankfully, this will probably die tonight), Spell Damage Druid, QL Demon Hunter (sometimes with Il'gynoth), Warsong Warrior (super underrated deck) and Reno Priest/Shaman. Those will all get better when aggro gets toned down. And it doesn't help that Seedlock will receive a new toy upon expansion release either. So yeah, I hope you guys are right and they only shave off 1 HP from Distributor.
Golden Kobold - Laughable to say the least. Its the worst treasure by far for good reasons. There's no way team5 can make this more playable than at its current state. I look forward to see what they have cooked up
Yogg-Saron, Unleashed - It'll be a mana nerf to 10. There's just no other way of nerfing this other than completely changing the mind control option, which Im sure is the main reason why this nerf needed to happen.
Wondrous Wand - No prizes for guessing. Its gonna be 1 mana instead of zero from the effects. Either that or it draws only two cards.
Puppetmaster Dorian - If there were any justice in this world, this card would be nerfed to oblivion. But likely just a mana nerf. Id prefer this card to be banned from druid instead
Treasure Distributor - Not sure why this needed a nerf but whatever. Probably gonna be health to 1. Though looking at wild, I wouldnt be too surprised to see this nerfed to 2 mana
Party Fiend - Again, not sure why this needed a nerf. But there is a chance it gets buffed to 1/2 but only spawning another 1/1 or 1/2. Basically the only oppressive thing about this card is the fact that there's not a card that can fully remove the three tokens without coin on turn 1.
Crescendo - Its gonna be a mana nerf to 3. I can see no reason for team5 to remove the face damage, because its literally the only reason to even be playing insanitylock
Tsunami - Card revert. Nuff said
Razzle-Dazzler - This is getting nerfed solely because there's little to no reason to not build around this. The overall effect is way too powerful compared to most other builds, and blizz wants priority given to the new expansion. Perhaps instead of a card revert, the tokens gets nerfed to 3-4 mana worth instead of 5.
Injured Hauler - Not gonna lie, this one card can board clear just about anything in overheal priest and probably why its getting nerfed. If I were to guess, the nerf would hit the AoE damage from 2 to 1.
Predictions:
The Yogg nerf is purely due to the bad sentiment that would be generated when your opponent mind controls your shiny new spaceship you spent 5 turns building.
I hope they redesign that ability of his. Why not take control of a random minion? That'll totally fit the yogg theme and feel more fair
The hyphen is missing, so you linked to the wrong Razzle-Dazzler :)
Whoops, thanks for catching that! Fixed =)
