How to beat the last Boss in ToT on heroic?

I have beaten all 5 chapters on normal with ease and beaten alle 4 Wings on heroic with Finley, Elise and Brann (no Bosses so far with Reno), so I thought I farmed enough treasures to beat the last boss on heroic. But how on earth do I have a chance against this dude, when he throws 2 C'Thuns with about 60/60 stats 2 turns in a row in my face, one-shoting two of my 4 heroes?

Beside these overbuffed C'Thuns the fight was "ok" so far. I nearly cleared phase 2 and had two heroes left - but as I said, these giant C`Thuns were unbeatable for me and I could see a way to prevent this nonsense. x_X

  • One of the ways is to hold him on phase 1 until you have an OTK. He either only has one C'thun or doesn't have any during that phase (can't remember, either way it won't be too bad). You can do this with Elise with Navigator and Starseeker fairly easily, duplicating buffs to create infinite spells to create infinite Moonfires.

  • How can I make infinitve spells? The HP of the Navigator is limited. o_O

It's tricky, but if you manage to reduce a buff spell's cost to 0 permanently, you can buff it and Moonfire it infinitely, or not even use the Moonfires if the Navigator can attack.

  • I beat him by clearing phase one on Brann, then switching over to Finley with which I just kind of abused the Windfury Hero Power to just rush him down.

The key seems to be to get through phase 2 as fast as possible because there's no way you're gonna survive the C'thun spam. You can take advantage of his hero power in phase 3 since he will end up damaging himself quite a bit.

There's also the Gatling Gun Cheese where you start with Reno, get the Gatling Wand, keep the boss at stage 1 as long as possible and switching to Elise as soon as possible to use as many spells as you can, supercharge the Wand and then oneshot the boss.

Step 1: Pick Reno Jackson as a starter

Step 2: Draw both Lei Flamepaw and The Gatling Wand

Step 3: Survive and cast as many spells as you can

Step 4: Lei Flamepaw + The Gatling Wand when you can OTK him [200+ damage or whatever it takes]

    Worked for me.

  • A strategy i heard was to use the Explorers in the order that they give you. Reno is just great in general, so using him to blow through the first phase is reccomended as after that point it is pretty much easy game

That strategy made it A LOT easier. Thanks!
