Guess it's some sort of a weapon tech—on the more expensive but greater value side. In wild Kingsbane isn't as popular as it used to be due to the Leeching Poison nerf and the only main threatening wild weapon is Aluneth, which you do NOT want to steal
Seriously? After the tech against big priest, the tech vs Kingsbane? A tad late: the deck is dead already. Well, i guess I'll take it. Just wondering if you'll equip it yourself in the same way as Kezan Mystic , or if it will put the weapon in your hand.
It's dead now, but that could change when new weapon synergy cards are introduced. Remember how The Caverns Below came back twice after being nerfed. So I think it's good to have tech against Kingsbane just in case.
Ewwwww... Please no. I hated how Kingsbane rogue would keep in check any control deck : I know it was a necessary evil against big priest, but also a real pain in the ass. It just scratch me the wrong way because Bibli took so much time to fix anything (but you know fuck wild! ), but you're right it's still good to have just to be safe.
Anybody knows if you just steal it in your hand or it should be stolen "in play" and maintain all buffs on that and remain "on field" but in your side?
(sorry for bad english, not sure if I express myself right)
the wording is confusing for me, but since it doesnt state "from your opponent's hand" or "add it to your hand", I am guessing it steals the weapon in the board and equips it on you, with all buffs attached?
Now that is weapon removal. Both the tempo or the possible value you gain can be immense. You would probably be able to play it against any non hyper aggro decks that run weapons.
The only deck this is great against in Wild is kingsbane. Against all others, other decks can´t use weapons as efficiently as the opponent and you´d rather it is destroyed cheaply (Ooze) or get some other thing in exchange (armor for Ooze3 and cards for Jones). Since the recent nerfs to Kingsbane rogue, I don´t think we will see this pirate guy anytime soon.
A silent nerf to kingsbane rogue in wild, since it almost forces them to include this into their deck just in case an accident like this card happens.
Its a better ooze, but at 5 mana, and competes directly with Harrison Jones. The question is whether you take the weapon or destroy it and draw cards, and most of the time the answer would be to draw cards.
Interesting card. Great if the meta has lots of decks that run weapons. We'll have to wait and see. For wild it's very good and for arena is excellent. A good addition to Pirate Warrior also.

not gonna see play this expansion, seems good for future standard play
You are so late Kobold Stickyfinger, so late. Where were you when Kingsbane was butchering everyone?

Edit : it comes in your hand not in play.

Thats also my question tbh

Great tech card, and also great inclusion in pirate warrior.
PIRATE WARRIOR HYPE
the first tech card to also tech against itself
Ahah! I love it!

In arena this card just wins you the game if it activates.
WOW! that's a weapon removal it's not good as Harrison Jones but it's a fun choice.

Looks really good to me, and I love that it's something that hasn't been done before.

To list down a few weapons that this card will most likely steal: Wrenchcalibur, Livewire Lance, Waggle Pick, Truesilver Champion, Hooked Scimitar, and if deathrattle rogue becomes a thing Necrium Blade. Its still a decent card, but if you need to deprive your opponent a weapon, Acidic Swamp Ooze is still the best card and hasn't gone anywhere.
Ariariariariariariari. Arivederchi.

Amazing Tech against rogue/warrior! In wild even better! nice!
