10 mana for a 4/12 with soft taunt and a 6/6 is pretty good, too bad neither of them is a taunt
10/18 with a heropower at 10 mana ??? Wow
Unliscened apothecary
Every Expansion, the best cards are Neutral Epics
Pretty slow but very snow-bally if left unchecked.
Epic? It's clearly a legendary
Fill your board with 6/6 dragons at the low, low cost of 25 health!
EDIT: Why is the reply function on this forum so terrible? It should have a marker in the corner to show who you're replying to or something.
A man is lying on the street, some punks chopped off his head
I'm the only one who stops to see if he's dead.
Hmm. Turns out he's dead.
The only thing holding this back is that its an 8 cost minion. Its super powerful and takes the game over really fast, but its not doing that before the late game. This does give warlock that extra umph in the late game, having a single threat against other control decks that wins the game by itself, plus it has a relevant minion type meaning it could show up in all kinds of decks.
To crush your enemies, to see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of the women.
I just noticed it doesn't have the "on your turn" text like the Floating Watcher.
So this spawns minions on your opponents turn.
Assuming you survive to turn 8, might be relevant against flooding decks. The minion acts as a soft taunt since tokens won't be able to hit face unless they want to fill the board with 6/6 minions.
There is surely ways to abuse this.
I think it is pretty pretty good.
Also, I understand and accept the Fluffy place holder name, but this isn't ''A new Epic Warlock Minion''
thanks for adjusting :)
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
Well it does what most late game dragons do, it's bad vs aggro but good vs midrange/control, it's purpose vs aggro is to be holding a dragon, it's a threat that is essentially taunt unless your opponent got lethal since they won't want to attack you since you will then get a lot of value.
I am unsure about this card, depends on how good dragon warlock/hand lock is.
Control Dragon Warlock! The opponent has no choice but to clear this if they don't want a board filled with high-statted minions.
Well it's over
Playing this card with your hero power is a nice turn 10 play that puts a lot of stats on the board. This is also a late game dragon that can help make a dragon Warlock deck with Nether Breath and Crazed Netherwing. I like this card since it has a pseudo taunt effect. Unless your opponent has lethal, they can't really afford to simply go face while this card is around since it will fill your board with a bunch of 6/6 dragons.
More dragons? Yes please!
Prime target for removal
-=alfi=-
So it does noyhing the turn it enters play. The tokens won't save you when they hit your face. This card needs some help to be somewhat good. There is this 3/5 warlock vulture with the same mechanic that I saw in play for only one week before disappearing. Unless they release some real self damaging support, it's bad imho, like Ysera bad. Even if Ysera is actually good. I love you Ysera.
Elders Scrolls : Legends / Runeterra
Midrange Dragon Warlock stuff.
It fits Even, but not good enough for Wild.
Art is nice but not legendary enough for a Dragon Aspect (Netherwing).
That's a lot of stats very fast. Can snowball out of control
Good lord, the power levels for this expansion are insane. 4/12 minions usually cost 9 mana, so having this at 8 means you can drop this and hero power on turn 10 for a massive play. Great card for slower Warlock decks.
I really like the art for Warlock dragons!
This card is strong but I don't think it's OP. You probably wait to drop it until you can combo it with hero power (no, Galakrond, the Wretched, not yours) or some self-damaging card as it doesn't affect the board. But if it sticks, your opponent will have a really hard time...
Good, but i dont think it will be competitive good. The 6/6 summons are strong, but the card itself looks too slow.
Never netdeck, craft Whizbang instead!
yes,
Battlecry: Fill your board with 6/6 Dragons, then kill yourself
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
Is it just me or are the legendary dragons a bit underwhelming so far? At least compared to the rest of the expansion.
This is pretty much just Ysera for Warlock...and Ysera hasn't seen play in years.
You can't run it in Questlock because you need the hero power to activate. We still don't have enough healing to really get value out of this without dying.
I mean, this is basically just worse Jaraxxus
It doesn't work against control because they'll just remove it. It doesn't work against aggro because they'll just ignore it and kill you. It doesn't work against combo because it's too slow.
I still believe in Dragon Warlock, but there's no way I'M putting that thing in
well, reading comprehension is king and I am not. Apparently he summons EVERY time you take damage, meaning that against any opponent that relies on actively murdering you, this is basically a soft taunt/pseudo removal. If they can't kill you in one turn they can't attack your face or else they'll give you lethal for next turn, so they need to trade, which means you basically just cleared the board (or at least preserved your health total)
It's the ultimate checkmate card and I love it. It doesn't even need a build around. Just drop it into your Control Warlock deck of choice and it's a free win against any tempo deck that hasn't killled you by the time this drops.
Thanks to Dragon Breeder you can multiply it in case it gets hard removal'd.
Dragon Warlock might actually be coming together.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
Is Warlock gonna have enough HP at turn 8/10 to play around with? Especially when you don't get Taunt?
This card seems pretty strong, but Warlock needs more Heal to make this work.
Edit: On the plus side - it also triggers on your opponents turn, so when they are playing aggressive Decks, they have to get rid of this Guy first.

Well we know how good Diseased Vulture is, the effect is strong but is it possible to fully utilise on a minion which costs twice as much at 8 mana?
Hard to really tell honestly, it will be a must remove minion when played due to how easily it can snowball out of control. This should see some amount of play, but my gut feeling is that it will be too slow.
EDIT: Just had to double-take, if the card text is correct then this activates any time you take damage, including on your opponent's turn? Well that just seems kinda broken then, it can basically prevent your opponent from hitting face unless they have lethal.
4/12 stats always is hard to remove, interesting effect, it will see play i guess
Best synergy ever
By The Holy Light!
Quite strong, good body and soft-taunt effect, but at 8 mana is very slow, could be good in a control deck but I don't think it will be a must. Maybe can also work in a slow midrange deck, but again, 8 mana is a lot
Not everyone is mother tongue! Roar.
Strong card but it is a bit slow though, sometimes you can't afford the loss of life and the 10+ turn. Hopefully Warlock gets some more Life Gain and this can definitely be viable.
I already can't wait to try some sort of control-dragon warlock. This seems like really OP card that requires immediate attention from the opponent.
I guess the meta will be hyper aggro vs super value control vs broken combo - nothing in the middle.

Amazing addition for a Dragon Warlock - definitely makes me think that deck could be really powerfu
It's bizarre seeing the reactions to this card - half the comments think it's garbage and half think it's completely busted.
The truth, I feel, is that it's neither - it's an okay card, not particularly strong (sloooow and a high drop competing with a lot of other high drops for a slot), nor particularly weak (triggering on your opponent's turn saves it from being utter garbage).
Its play will depends entirely on whether Control Warlock winds up being a thing, there's no other archetype you'd realistically fit this (except, I suppose, Highlander Warlock if it winds up being less aggressive than the variant we saw this expansion). It's not good enough to draw you to play Control Warlock on its own, but it might be included if you're building the deck anyway.
I see you when you're sleeping; I'm gone before you wake
I'm not as good as turn 4 Barnes; But I'm at least a Twilight Drake
Even dragonlock seems promising with a card like this!
it's a good card. not great. if it was a demon, could work with Galakrond. The real problem is that Blizz gave a lot of zoo(class f*king identity) tools for Warlock and few to control.
Looks like another reach for new control handlock. But lock needs more healing for using it, i know, they gave OP dragon heal and damage, but it s not enough if you want use this and something like bombs and also, you need something like spreading madness with a lot of small self damage procs.
Good card but in this set a lot of OP broken before release cards and this one looks like, ok. I like this.
maybe an RNG combo but this with mad bomber on t10 is preeety slick
I love this card. It seems that for next expansion we might seem handlock and dragon warlock viable. We will find out soon! :)
This card is going to be incredibly annoying to deal with.
Evolve is getting better and better hope they nerf Mogu Fleshshaper
This is going to be a great dragon to get from 'random dragon' effects.
If an aggro deck gives you a bunch of free 6/6s by hitting you in the face you can probably just murder them on the backswing. Unless they have lethal on the turn you drop this guy, the fact that he also generates dragons when your opponent hits you actually presents a huge problem for aggro decks.
I don't think it is too good because it is 8 mana and it just summons more stats. At 8 mana, you want to be doing more than just, "here is a vanilla minion that summons another vanilla minion".
Before Untapped Potential was a card, Kun the Forgotten King was never played except for combo druid. It didn't matter that he was a 0 mana 7/7, he just didn't do enough to impact the board. I have a feeling there will be a similar problem with this fluffy frosty.
The only reason I think this could be playable is because it is a dragon. And that means you can just hold it in your hand and still gain benefit from it.
*edit* I missed-as I imagine many people have-that this will also trigger on your opponents turn, so while this doesn't have taunt, it can still protect you. Your opponent won't want to hit you for 8 damage with their 3 minions because then you would bash them for 22 damage next turn. Sometimes the best defense is a good offense.
This card is a lot better than I originally gave it credit for.
Carrion, my wayward grub.
Good but not OP. Probably won't cut it based on the power level of other cards that have been revealed so far in this expansion. Rugue and warlock are going to fall behind
I have no idea if the card is good but the card is for a different deck's. the vulture is a agro card while this is a control/midrange card. it's also big that it also trigger when your op does the damage the vulture only triggered on your turn(the vulture had a similar but not the same mechanic the vulture could also low roll into 1/1's). There is also the chance if the agoro deck doesn't just kill you i'll that is very unlikely but if they hit you in the face enough times and not kill you might have just generated enough power to kill them.
Gonna be challenging to deal with it if this dragon actually stays survives. Slow or not, it's going to outvalue you if you don't stop it.
Will see how it goes, it's very excited to see a powerful generator card.
Hard to remove decent effect to make big board..the effect will force opponent to focus on removing this..otherwise they will be seeing a lot of 6/6s..
too expensive, zoo doesn't need this kind of minions and for control what are you trying to accomplish with this?
Dragon Handlock seems to be coming together, wish there was some more healing though.
Gosh dang it, cards bad.
For his cost it's a little difficult to summon much Drakes on the turn that this card is played, but have high life, probably can survive one more turn, so I guess it's a good card, but I don't know in what type of deck this can fit in.
I'm sorry for my bad english :)
With enough sustainability this might give warlock some power turns.
Very slow the turn you play it tho.
Without more class healing I'm unsure how well this card will turn out. Doesnt matter if you have a 4/12 and six 6/6s if you're within range of lethal. Still, it's a soft taunt and a major threat if left alone. I like it.
10-mana 10/18 combo. Warlock is already insane with the other Portal synergy cards.
If nothing else, on turn 10 can be paired with life tap to put 14/14 on board and a soft taunt.
Probably too slow to be a good card, still, I like it.
On the arena is okay, but on standard is terrible :/
It’s a lot of stats, but that’s kind of it. You’ll probably end up wanting to play it on turn 10 or later, so it being 8 mana doesn’t really mean too much a lot of the time. Bit interesting that it’s a lot worse with any of the hero cards or the quest, since you lose out on the damaging hero power
Who needs consistency when you could have fun?
Can be alittle annoying for your opponent because unlike Diseased Vulture it can activate on their turn as well and is well stated.
The effect is very strong but as said before it too slow and heavy. This kind of cards doesn't see much play usually no matter how strong they could possibly be. But it's a good late game option for warlocks if they will need it.
"Better to have, and not need, than to need, and not have."
The stats are good, the card seems nice. Might see play in some warlock decks!
There's already a large amount of self damage support, this could make the deck viable
The warlock legendary dragon was an important piece to see if dragonlock will be a thing, sadly this is not the case.
The card has a soft taunt, too bad that if the opponent can kill you he'll kill you even if that means that you are making a full board of huge dragons while he hits your face for lethal damage.
Another must have golden legendary for me. This expansion is going to break the bank. Not good so close to Christmas lol.
Way to slow to be used effectively, but interesting effect for sure. If this card would be cheaper (even with lower stats and stats of Dragon spawned) it would be much more viable. Maybe in a really slow meta, or when Warlock gets more healing it might see play
Really good.will be played in the new handlock. Also you can regain your health back with the new breat
Easy to evaluate. Are you vs aggro? can you wait till turn 8-10 to start inflicting damage to your face just for non taunt stats on board? no? then its bad.
Are you vs control? do you want big stats on board that your opponent can easily remove since you aren't flooding the board every turn so he saved his removoals? its bad.
Are you vs combo? is it a good idea to go with a strategy that involves hurting yourself? no, then its bad.
Are you vs midrange? you lucky guy, put those stats on board and win the game!
Soo, it could be good in some metas...
I really like this one, played on 10 it's quite a big amount of stats and if not dealt with, becomes pretty much deadly.
I will definitely run this. 10-mana for a 4/12 and a 6/6 with a big "must remove" target on it's back? Since Warlock is a little all over the place right now, this kind of just generally good card will be useful in most decks.
I see this as a pretty decent option for plot twist warlock with the supreme archeology quest
TOTAL CORRUPTION
TOTAL POWAAAAAAA
having a big sustain deck like Quest Warlock this could see play.
Strong effect but slow. When you play this card If you are not dead next turn, your opponent MUST destroy this dragon or it will cause an snowball effect
kinda good, kinda slow, overall looks cool to play with. Kinda weird that its an 8-mana 4/12 but w/e
Very strong card that I can see being used in Control vs Control matchups.
Now if only you could pair this with a stealth granting card so it could just lurk on the board.....
Needs some lifegain and protection. It is a great target for removals so can be used to distarct opponents to consume their removals. Might not work tho.
Unpopular Opinion Incarnate
A little slow but tremendously powerfull if left unchecked, we'll have to see how much this card debelops but i don'tsee much play on it outside of random generated ones.
Cool card for control Warlock, but I expect it to be too slow
Basically a pseudo-taunt card. It won't save you if your opponent has already lethal, though. This card could fit into both Zoo Warlock and Control Warlock.
The effect is strong but the fact that it doesnt get in play until at least turn 8 makes it very very slow. If you survive against aggro that long, this seals the deal, but against other decks its basically just a 4/12 taunt.
Slow but powerful card. Play him on 10 mana for a 4/12 and a 6/6 and a card draw. Assuming the Warlock doesn’t just die, this card will provide a huge threat reminiscent of Lord Jaraxxus.
Jaina is best waifu. Always.
I noticed this immediately. This is any damage. So, either the opponent deals 12 damage to this, hard removes it somehow, or MUST have lethal when they go in for the kill. Otherwise, they die on the crackback from all the 6/6 they just created
Poor warlock always recieving bad legendarys , at least if this card have taunt ..
Late game value machine, but the current control tools may not allow this card to see much play.
Very interesting card for Dragonlock or Controlock decks. If it sticks you can make a copy of it with Dragon Breeder or Sathrovarr. It generates lots of value.
Wow, didn't even notice the damage can be from your opponent, that's awesome!
Fits into any control deck, plus it helps out Dragonlock, I love it.
This can be really scary. Fact that effect triggers even on your opponent turns is crutial. But still it does nothing by himself and it's slow. This time I have no clue if this have chance on ladder or not.
Fun and interactive game.
