New deck building strats!!! Love this card just for that, but the 5 rando pala cards might push this card into the unplayable section.
Cute, but tell me which Paladin deck could even afford to go without neutrals. Certainly not Highlander, and that'S the only deck I could imagine running this.
Sweet artwork though.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
why make a deck without neutrals???
Woah, what a flashy card with art and effect. I think this value is pretty bonkers!
Also, awesome card design!
Insane Buildaround
This is definitely a crazy powerful build around card, but its also a super slow one. 7 mana cards have to be very good to see play, and this is not only a 7 mana card its a 7 mana build around. It still might be good enough, but we'll have to see. Obviously there is some minor synergy with the Wyrmrest Purifier.
To crush your enemies, to see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of the women.
Really like the no neutral card design, and this card certainly makes it worth trying.
The other synergy card Lightforged Zealot does not seem quite as powerful. The problem with this though is the sheer amount of bad hits you can get, especially with regards to all the secrets and small buff cards Paladin has.
Will definitely look forward to trying this deck, but it probably won't be very good.
meh, yes, a lot of decks already playing without neutrals or very few, but not highlander and not mechs and 100% sure can t play with Pala's quest, looks like new dead arhetype who will be pushed in future.
You can make deck with neutrals but u must draw them first.
What's the most powerful card in Hearthstone?
A credit card.
Really harsh condition, but that's also a massive Payoff... Maybe Wyrmrest Purifier will see play?

I loved the card but i would like more if it has taunt and 8 mana tbh.
I tried same deck idea in past with rogue and shaman, now it has a mechanic so I'm so happy to see this and other cards like this.
It also fits well to the class thematically, you know, paladins can be fanatics, purifying evil etc. Yeah we paladins are just dickheads.
Unpopular Opinion Incarnate
Suddenly Wyrmrest Purifier looks a little less stupid...I'm not sure that you'd want the combo, but it seems like a nice way to a) have useful neutral cards in the early game, and b) generate the massive card advantage in the mid to late game without having to do a full Pure Paladin deck.
All in all, this card is awesome and will drive people to new ways of deckbuilding
The value for this is off the charts with it procs. Can even get itself.
5 cards basically means your entire hand.
This card is quite powerful, this allows your midrange paladin to gain a plethora of resources with just 1 card. I am sure paladin decks can afford to cut some of their neutral cards (by which I mean all of their neutral cards) for this insane value generator.
Carrion, my wayward grub.
lol i really dont see this archetype being viable
New deckbuilding challenge is always appreciated. This seems very strong at first glance. 7 mana 7/7 that adds 5 cards to your hand is a big reload. But random cards tend to be highly inconsistent even if they are exclusive to your class. It's a neat card but i don't think it will work all that well. Doesn't mean i won't try if given the opportunity though!
"True mastery takes dedication."
A interesting card. if it had lower stas and taunt ill say its good but hopefully 5 random card can make up for the loss of tempo
I like this new way of building decks, but the payoff just doesn't seem good enough to justify it. Will still be fun to try out with Lightforged Zealot and maybe even Wyrmrest Purifier if you still want to have some neutral minions in your deck.
More dragons? Yes please!
Because I almost always add class cards to decks before any neutrals, I often find myself with an almost all class-card draft anyway. Pally has some meaningful holes in what it can do with its class cards though, so it might be an interesting class to put this effect in.
Either way, I am more than happy for an excuse not to sift through endless pages of neutral cards.
Doesn’t seem that great, especially since there’s so many 1 cost spells you could get at this point from it. Don’t think it’ll be worth it for awhile, unless they reveal something interesting next expansion
Who needs consistency when you could have fun?
So, on one hand, trion and other legendaries on the other 5 secrets and some sand breaths it seems too risky to make a neutral-less deck
Self proclaimed good at battlegrounds
New build-around cards are always appreciated, although this one is a bit wonky. If I were to play this card, I would probably save it for a late-game value-engine and hope I draw all of my Neutrals before I truly need it. I don't trust such an archetype to work out.
Also might be the closest we get to seeing Yrel in-game.
Yet another interesting mechanic - pushing in a whole new direction. I like it.

L.O.V.E. LOVE the art. This card + Lightforged Zealot - will they be enough shift Highlander Paladin to Highland "Pure" Paladin? I'll certainly give it a whirl. Also, there are so many amazing Paladin Dragons I could absolutely see these being run in that deck as a trade off for a few of the stronger neutral dragons.
pure paladin?
make my day team5
This is a bad archetype for Paladin to pursue.
Seems like a meme, but glad to be proven wrong
Rage quitting: the best way to ensure your opponent knows they beat a giant baby.
Such a powerful effect! I never thought about this kind of Paladin before, but now I'm intrigued. Gonna make a deck for this archetype :D
The build around requirement is very cool but there's no pay off. 5 random Paladin cards in a deck that already only has Paladin cards is basically a draw back. 25% of Paladin Cards are 1 cost, theres a bunch of specific deck build around cards like the Quest, Sir Finley, Immortal Prelate, Tip The Scales, and then finally Paladin has a bunch of garbage cards like Prince Liam, Bloodclaw, Nozari, and Light's Justice that you wouldn't want under any circumstances.
Maybe as a 1 of when you reach endgame?
Getting a shirvallah or another 1 of this card is pretty strong unfortunately when you play this you have very little options to deal with the board so it is a big commitment.
Bad card, there're so many bad pally cards (if you don't have cards in your hand, ok, it's a good value, but you really want random pally cards?), in arena it's a 7 mana 7/7 do nothing, awful.
I'm sorry for my bad english :)
This card is interesting, but not good enough yet. For this restriction this card should have worked like Zephyr the Great to make it worth to build a deck around. This restriction is way harder than the highlander restriction.
Cool! I hope to see some paladin decks of this new archetype! I cannot figure out how good they would be, but sure they seem interesting.
Draw 5 is bonkers since Divine Favor left the standard and you dont have to remove all naturals its a 7 mana and you want to starve cards to play this. This will definitely find a cozy home
Seems insteresting but the build around is a little to-much more so when 3 sets rotates in april.....we'll see
Paladin cards are really random, you could be getting useless secrets or something similar. But you still get 5 cards so there might be a spot for this in a highlander paladin.
NuHighlander huh.
Probably worth it but not with Mech decks.
Amazing card and great design! New way to build a deck and good reward for doing so!
That's a whole lot of value for a single card! You can always run the combo Call to Adventure + Wyrmrest Purifier for this to be active without lacking neutral cards. This would probably be the most effective without Lightforged Zealot as well. On the other hand, when scrolling through my inventory, Paladin can pull off this mechanic without too much problems.
pretty op..wonder if this works with having the neutral cards but drawn out..it should work that way similar to highlanders..in that case it would be pretty strong considering pally already use limited neutral cards..
No need to create a Pure Paladin Deck. Just slot this in a Nomi Murloc Highlander deck and it works as a value generator if the Nomi doesn't kill your opponent.
Pure Paladin might be an interesting deck, especially an aggressive version of the deck could be strong. This card offers a lot of card generation if such an aggressive deck runs out of steam.
i'll play it - my fav class
but doubt will go highlander, I want to run 2 of these!
Well, most decks already mostly run class cards so I can see this happening it's not that harsh of a restriction, the reward from this is HUGE, it's 5 cards it can outlast control easily, plus the other 4/2 card is very good as well.
I very like the card but i'd say the same as for Lightforged Zealot - this new mechanics needs more support to make it worth playing this way. But i like we see something new in HS. And i hope we'll get new cards to support this mechanics in the future.
I actually think that those cheap spells are pretty good. They are generally not worth the card but they deliver for their mana cost!
Generating 5 cards is a lot. I guess it will consistantly give a reasonable range of Cards
Winner winner chicken dinner
This is a pretty powerful ability, but I’m not convinced this archetype will work yet.
In wild, this can be great. Sadly, no Highlander deck is possible (except if you only have Zephyrs?)
That's such a restrictive condition for a pretty weak payoff. Is it even possible to build a deck without neutrals? It's an interesting build-around strategy though, maybe Blizzard will do something like this in the future for a stronger payoff.
The artwork is really sweet, though.
I like the idea of a new archetype with only class card! It probably won’t rule the meta but would be fun to try out.
I don't see this "pure" paladin deck.
Especially if this card is the reward, 5 random paladin cards is good, but paying 7 mana to add 5 cards that maybe will suck is not an easy thing to do because on turn 7 is just playing a 7 mana 7/7 and there is a reason the golem was never played in any deck
Class cards are better than neutral ones...altough some neutrals shine brighter than what pally cards i think we shall see some heavy plays
Hello there
I am not sure how I feel about this "no neutral cards in your deck" approach. We will have to wait and see what decks come up, but I don't think this is a very good card due to the limitations the deck must have to trigger the effect.
I like the concept, but if I need to build a deck without neutral I want a really strong effect. 5 card are a huge value, but the problem is the randomnes. I'm not a huge fan of this card
7 mana 7/7 that draws 5 cards is really spooky as an epic
Very interesting card. This non-neutral archetype can get some support in the future, but we have the biggest pool of cards right now, and that deck is better when more cards are in standard. I mean this deck has to rise now, otherwise we will have fewer possibilities to fill the slots.
Never netdeck, craft Whizbang instead!
Good stats, Meh effect. Might see play.
Cool way to build your deck, because class cards are usually stronger than neutral
If theres ever a time for a card like this, its right after the third expansion of the year. Having the largest pool available of paladin only cards to be able to make a full deck with actually good cards in it.
Decent stats for a 7-drop, but there’s a lot of variance in the quality of Paladin cards and the condition is really restrictive. Probably too unreliable to make its way into a competitive deck in the long run.
Jaina is best waifu. Always.
this paladin only class card deck sound insane on paper, and I hope it actually is, but it will need another strategy build into it. And by the looks of this card, it needs to be a control strategy. Two that come to mind are higlander (you play this after you get zephyrs and alextraza from deck) or maybe just full out control. But who knows, won't dismiss the idea just yet
That is a crazy effect, and Paladin has enough good stuff that they may very well be able to do the no neutral and not feel it too much.
Meh, far from worth it right now, we'll have to wait for future support.
So you get this great triggers.
Nice hand refill in the late turn with solid stats, but RNG is what will kill this card. It will be fun to pair with the new epic card, but I don't see the latter being played due to RNG.
I don't think right now this archetype it's going to work. Maybe in future expansions. But I like this new archetype. It's pretty cool!
Imagine playing Wyrmrest Purifier as Paladin and getting this. As for the archtype, it's probably too young to be good, but in time, it might just become something.
I don't have hope in this "pure paladin" idea, although generated value is insane.
Fun and interactive game.
What a neat concept! I'm excited to see if they'd bring this to other classes too.
Interesting archetype but without taunt, to play this on turn 7 probably means death. Difficult to evaluate how it will perform.
with so many bad paladin cards, especially secrets, the reward is not worth restricting your deck
One of the 4 cards I missed during reveal season
Arg ... so close yet so far
