good sidequest. could be an excellent tool in wild dudes
This is excellent. It's basically that one Secret from TGT (I don't remember) except instead of having to have your minions survive a turn you decide when it goes off. COmbine it with Stuff like Hench Clan HAg or Microtech and you have a pretty solid tempo play.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
Competitive Spirit but faster being that you can control when it goes off, and your opponent cannot just leave 1 minion up and ruin the buff.
Pretty nice card, but Paladin right now just cannot really swarm the board well enough right now to fully utilize the buff outside of Sky Claw and a few neutral token spawners. Problem a potential token Paladin deck faces is Shaman and Druid doing it better.
This should be quite potent in Wild however, especially so in Odd Paladin.
Most of the time this will only buff a couple of minions. Not good.
Unlike Competitive SpiritBADCARDNAME you can control when this procs.

Yeah this is just a way better Competitive Spirit. Not sure if it will be good enough tho.
i dont see this happening for paladin, when's the last time paladin flooded the board this xpac? most builds rn snowball 1 drops into midgame
Gonna really good in wild with odd paladin.
Competitive Spirit, but you have lots more control over when it goes off. Probably decent, and a reasonable include in a swarm deck, but not a card you absolutely need to have.
Very powerful, there are so many ways to summon multiple bodies without spending a lot of cards, this will almost always hit at least three guys, and it can very easily be done the turn after it is played assuming you didn't play this on turn 1. And if nothing else there is always wild odd paladin.
Carrion, my wayward grub.
So many good cards in this expansion...
This is just good overall, it's has great value for midrange and token paladin.
I think its good since you controll the buff. But it does have friction with the other side quest since your OPwill know what one you played
Can easily be triggered with just one or two cards over in wild, definitely not looking forward to running into this on ladder
Who needs consistency when you could have fun?
A strong sidequest for an aggresive paladin deck.
More dragons? Yes please!
Being rewarded for playing the game is always great I can see this being run in all decks since almost all paladins decks benefit from it
Self proclaimed good at battlegrounds
I'm getting PTSD flashbacks to Odd Paladin. An easy-to-proc and easy-to-control Competitive Spirit makes for a great card.
Murloc Paladin support maybe? But it ruins Prismatic Lens though. Probably a bit too weak to see play in Constructed
This is a very strong card for a good token class. Auto-include for Wild Odd Paladin. I'm sure we'll see a lot of this in the coming months.
Reasonable card for class identity but a bit odd for timing tbh.
We all(at least I) are expecting to see dragons and heal/taunt synergies(after seeing first sidequest and healing dragons).
Out of nowhere 2 new synergies popped up in Paladin, No neutral class cards and swarm support.
I really don't like how they themed paladin in this expansion. They should have chosen 2 or 3 themes in my opinion. Now it has
Mech, Dragon, Weapon, No Class, Swarm, Ramp synergies at the same time.
I guess it is the reflection of Highlander concerns.
That doesn't mean I don't like the cards tho. I love most of the Paladin cards. It was just about the theme.
Unpopular Opinion Incarnate
Playable in aggro paladin decks.
I'm sorry for my bad english :)
Is good overall howhver i don't know how good yet you'll have summon a lot and it seems like to be hard to pull off in the same turn itis played.
to snowball Brazen Zealot paladins summon a lot of minions so they do flood the board, and getting more hp on said snowbally 1 drops is very strong..
also the current meta is going away, you should look at pre ToT meta, 1 hp paladin/aggro paladin was a niche deck that saw some success
A bit slower [Hearthstone Card (Competititve spirit) Not Found] but you can control when it triggers more flexibly for the same cost.
Turn 2 Aggro buff?
Just get a few Summon battlecries and protect them.
Good sidequest and very easy to complete with a decent power!
If you have a way to trigger it immediately, great, it's a Mark of the Lotus, which is probably worth 1.5 mana if we're fair.
However, the fact that your opponent is aware of the quest counter and can clear your board when you're close to completion makes this much worse. It's like a competitive secret except it's out in the open.
Looks like a pretty yucky card to me. Might be decent in wild Muster for Battle type decks, but for standard, even with the weenie support already in paladin, it's not looking too hot IMO.
No-neutral Paladin is this expansion's Freeze-Shaman I guess.
This card is interesting. Its almost always better than Competitive Spirit, but it doesn't compare all that favorably to Mark of the Lotus or Storm's Wrath which you have much more control over. That said, Paladin is and has always been one of the best token classes, and in wild in particular. IDK if this will end up seeing much play in standard or Arena.
To crush your enemies, to see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of the women.
pretty good for low cost aggro decks but I don't see it being competitive enough compared to other upcoming pally meta decks.
This side quest is insanely strong. This card will see play in Aggro Pure Paladin.
And in wild ... this card will make Odd Paladin incredibly stronger.
Right now i only see this card in Wild. Paladin doesnt have good token potential in standard. Yeah you might play reborn minons to complete ths sidequest fast but i'm not sure it's good enough to include this card in a deck.
i dont like much, weaker than it sounds
probably most of the times it will buff 1-2 minions, and it doesn't worth it
Pretty underwhelming effect, but then again you can easily do this quest with the Paladin Hero Power alone. This might find its way in Odd Paladin in Wild as a faster Competitive Spirit.
I refuse to give anything but 5 stars to a card where we see a murloc knighting happy folks in war winterwear.
I think this card is very good in a swarm deck, the only problem is that, if you have it in your starting hand for example, that those decks want to spend mana to put pressure on the board instead of playing this but playing the minions first will make this sidequest harder to complete.
Is not a very good topdeck either.
Ow, very aggro. This is just a better Competitive Spirit, which you can trigger when is more convenient to you.
Amazing card for zoo'ish decks in paladins. buffing your small minions is a great effect in aggroo zoo decks.
"All of you have entered into the order of the Fin"
Sir Finley
Nah.. too inconsistent, a lot of times it will only buff 1-2 minions so its a tempo loss.
1 mana delayed mark of lotus that your opponent will play around. Maybe not good
Nice sidequest. In wild it's a autoinclude in Odd Paladin and mech paladin. In standard i don't know if Paladin can afford an agro deck
With the new 3-mana mech this is scary. But many times it will be wasted on only one minion, because you cant control when to activate it.
Never netdeck, craft Whizbang instead!
Here we go with aggro again...dayum..token pally mvp
Pretty good considering you can control when complete it.
"For what profit is it to a man if he gains the world, and loses his own soul?"
I like this card a lot in the aggro/midrange pally!
This is pretty bad top deck in token deck but we will see if it could work.
Might not be super strong in standard, but in Wild this makes odd paladin even scarier.
Very powerful with board-flooding, swarmy Paladin decks. Particularly in Wild where things like Muster for Battle, Baku-upgraded hero powers, and so forth exist.
Jaina is best waifu. Always.
Of all classes, paladin is not the worse to get this card, but no the best either.
ANd yes, truth that in shaman, or god forbid, druid, this card would be insane. But currently, ever since baku and genn rotated, token paladin isn't a big thing. Who knows, may this is what's missing.
Maybe in highlander paladin a copy of this? could be
How broken Mark of the Lotus was. I don't like this one that much, but in swarm decks it's playable.
Good to drop in early turns, and can be instantly completed in later turns. 5/5
The artwork is cute, but the timing can be challenging in standard.
It can fit different paladin decks. You can control when you activate it so it's very flexible. The downside is that it doesn't start in your hand.
I've never played oddboladin so I don't know if it could fit the archetype. But this turn 1, button, and muster seems pretty scary to me. Please don't be as good as I think you are. I don't want to report to duty ever again. I can't take another tour of this shit.
Elders Scrolls : Legends / Runeterra
Good in any aggro deck, especially Odd Paladin. Will be interesting to see.
Great, support for non-existing paladin deck. These forced archetypes never works and synergy with Sky Claw is a joke. In wild on the other hand is at least hope with Muster for Battle and other cards that vomits dudes.
Fun and interactive game.
So much better than Competitive Spirit and I can only imagine the shenanigans in Wild with some of those summon 3 or summon 5 recruits cards.
That's what I was to mention, glad someone else thought about it
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
I think this card it's actually awesome. Anything that buffs whole board is always good and this may be underestimated. We will see.
This card is not as cheesy as it appears, even in Odd Paladin.
But it is powerful.
Thing is, it takes at least two turns to be completed, and your opponent can try and clear the board in between, minimizing the bonus.
However, one can always plan ahead, according to guessing, and managing resources optimally (similarly to how you would calculate for Steward of Darkshire).
Basically, this Sidequest could revamp Odd Paladin, while also making it more interesting to play.
I am currently trying a list with Beaming Sidekick and Fungalmancer in order to make my minions as sticky as possible.
