Chris Sierra has taken to reddit to let us know about a small patch that's rolling out for Hearthstone right now. Despite it not being a major update, it contains some big information for Arena and Battlegrounds. Here's the full post.
Quote From Chris Sierra Hey Folks,
We’re currently in the process of rolling out a small 16.0.3 server-side update (meaning you won’t need to download anything) to address a few issues. Here are the changes:
- Fixed an issue that could cause Sidequests to prevent Questing Explorer from drawing a card.
- Fixed an issue where Storm Egg had Rush.
- Fixed an issue with the Happy Hallow’s End quest that could prevent players from completing it.
- [Tombs of Terror] Fixed an issue that could cause the Battle Scars anomaly to prevent the player from progressing after ending a plague lord encounter with a tie.
- [Tombs of Terror] Fixed an issue with Murky's Battle Horn that could cause both heroes to be destroyed.
- [Arena] Dragonmaw Poacher is no longer draftable.
- [Arena] Lightforged Zealot is no longer draftable.
- [Hearthstone Battlegrounds] Primalfin Lookout has been moved from Tavern Tier 4 to Tavern Tier 5.
Cheers,

U guys could have mentioned the news about the dev team nerfing shaman next week
Well, THANK YOU Blizz for removing Poacher from Arena. I played 3 runs, and stopped playing Arena because of this card alone. It was not even fun when I was dropping it on turn 4, felt way too unfair. I am really happy and really proud it took only few days for the team to figure it out and remove this cancer.
ROFL they nuked the Poacher 😂 i mean im not surprised but that is going to have an enormous impact on arena.
I was doing an arena today and guess what ? He is still here !!! Maybe the guy created the deck yesterday but it feels terrible to face it ....
Why did they already remove two cards from Arena? Asking for a friend because I can't explain well enough.
The 8/8 was way too much for arena that early, since if any early dragons are dropped then the opponent will instantly have board control. In one deck I have drafted getting 2 of them basically carried me to 8 wins on their own I’m pretty sure
It violently ended games on turn 4, you just played any dragon? any early game dragon in arena? good luck against the 8-8
i hope that they will fix that you can see the galakrond getting invoked/upgraded in your opponents hand while holding it. so you know he has it in hand...
great to see, bad to know that he can see yours...
does anyone know if that is reported?
If you mean you'd want for them to remove the animation telling the opponent it's in your hand, I absolutely agree. I hope that wasn't an intended interaction and that they're planning to fix it. C'thun doesn't tell you his location either!
They probably won't remove it. It seems to be a unique animation as far as I've seen, which means its an intended effect.
why zealot not draftable any more ?
Probably because it's battlecry only triggers when you have a very specific deck. And such a deck is very - near impossible - to draft in Arena deckbuilding
Yeah that's it probably. It was too bad of an offer since its almost impossible to pick a full "class only" deck in Arena.
While it was bad, there is Magma Rager lol ... and worse cards than Zealot. It is very interesting to me, if it was removed solely cause it was a really bad 4-drop, or if there was other reason behind it. Cause Lightforged Crusader was not touched ... reason being 7/7 for 7 is ok? (which it is)
Reddit also said something about the offer-rates being bugged. idk
I feel like maybe it's the variance? It's either a REALLY bad 4 drop in arena or an incredibly busted one (if you manage to get the all paladin thing). So it felt either bad to get, or bad to play against, which seems to be against Blizzards whole thing. Just speculating though.
Honestly, if you can get it to trigger, you deserve the weapon lol and if you can get it to trigger, at that point of the game, it most likely wont make any difference.
Couldn't they have figured out shaman was too strong before the release? Did they really think faceless corruptor was not OP?
They knew it to a certain extent. Keep in mind that there are a lot of potential decks to build, and the testing team isn't very big.
Within a day or two of the expansion, they retrieve data from millions, if not billions, of games, thus getting much more reliable data.
So, they probably knew it was top tier, but they didn't have enough data to check if it was actually OP.
at least faceless corrupter was a neutral card. The problem at its heart is that shaman invokes faster than the other Galakrond classes, and is able to double Galakrond's battlecry value.
Either Corrupt Elementalist becomes a neutral card, or that thing needs a major nerf. Invoke cards are supposed to be overall pretty weak for their cost, but with this around shaman doesn't have to include the other bad invoke cards to do the same thing.
