Stealth nerf to Galakrond :^)
I'M not sure I understand how it works. Does it buff a random minion with its attack or does it change a friendly minions attack to whatever it had at the time of death?
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
In wild, this could pair well with Power Overwhelming. Buff, make a trade, buff random friendly minion
it seems oddly solid, you trade it away and buff your other minion to trade or go face without losing damage burst, if opponent kills this one first they can get punished if there are minions on board, it is indeed very aggressive.
I don't see a compelling reason to play this in standard ATM. You'd rather want a guaranteed 1/1 token as a deathrattle than the chance to maybe buff a minion, assuming a) there's one left in play when this dies and b) that minion doesn't have a higher attack.
Maybe I'm misinterpreting the card and it actually adds its damage on top of what the minion-to-buff already had, but even then it seems kinda underwhelming. A situational +2/+0 permanent buff on a 2/1 body.
Does that mean we're gonna see more Handbuff-Cards for Warlock?
Forget what I said there, thought It was a Battlecry.

We already have the cards from Rastakhan's rumble the boomsday project. (Soul Infusion, Void Analyst I guess).
I would assume it is meant as a positive deathrattle, so it will be a buff of +(this minion's attack). I guess the possibility that it has more than 2 attack at the time of death makes it difficult to word with a clear, unambiguous + sign present. At least, not without it being clunky like my own attempt above, which I agree with the devs is OK reason to choose ambiguous wording in a digital card game (though I know others disagree).
Personally, I think it should have been worded as “Deathrattle: Give a friendly minion Attack equal to this minion’s Attack” in order to be a lot clearer. This would still be fairly short but more in line with how other cards are worded and the effect would be immediately obviou
That sounds no less ambiguous to me. However, I think the key thing is neither wording uses the word 'set', which would be the norm if it was to, well, set the attack rather than provide a buff.
It should either be "Add this minion's Attack to the Attack of a random friendly minion" or "Set the Attack of a random friendly minion equal to this minion's Attack."

Except it does set (replace) but adds (plus) the attack, it is a +X buff

I see some potential in zoo where they generally always have a minion on board.
Synergizes with Grim Rally, Fiendish Rites, Abusive Sergeant, Goblin Lackey. Cards that are typically seen in zoo decks.
Zoo may find a use for it. But with 1 hp it is so easy to remove just by hero powering of some classes, if they went first, so you won't get the +2 attack bonus. But still, you can try and save it for a sweet "combo" with grim rally or the lackeys or the lackey 2/2 bird.

Side note, I got the impression that this card was designed with Battlegrounds in mind.
Used it in the solo adventure, it adds the attack.. If it would set the attack it would use the word "set" like subdue.
There is no doubt in my mind! It's nice that it can be good in both modes, though.
Shenanigans: buff this guy with Abusive Sergeant, etc, go face, then Mortal Coil him to give his buffed attack to Leeroy or something. Eh? Anyone?

I think the word "add" or "gains" would have been less ambiguous than "gives", which to me intuitively replaces the existing attack value with the new one. I guess what's missing for me in the wording of this card is the '+' symbol. Any other buff in the game (that I can think of right now) is worded as "gives +x/+y", which makes it clear the stats are added to the existing ones rather than replacing them.
