Account blocked
Hey,
I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but I wonder if anyone has tips or faced the same problem.
In short: I lost my emailadress and don't remember with what name I made my hearthstone account, thus blizzard doesn't want to help me recover my account.
Last week I had to confirm my account with my emailadress and it turned out I lost this account. It is blocked and I can't provide enough information to outlook to recover it. I turned to blizzard and had to give my name (and afterwards probably birthday etc.), but turned out I gave up some bullshit answers 5 years ago when I made the account. I've got plenty of other information to prove it is my account (bank statements, screenshots and they can probably see from what computer I played), but it seems that is not enough.
I play daily, have a pretty complete collection and put some money in it, so obviously I want my account back. Do you have some tips for me in this position or have had the same problem? Please let me know.
Cheers

If i understand it right, even if they wanted to help you, they are unable to find out which of their millions accounts belong to you.
Screenshots are probably not safe enough, and querying the system with machine ID is probably something that requires them ad hoc actions through their system.
Finally, try to be in their shoes: you are missing multiple key info, none of which should be forgotten by their owner. To them, you are more likely to be a scam than a genuinely lost player...
@RavenSunHS Thanks for the reply. I find it hard to believe that there is nothing I or they can do to confirm it. Screenshots are definetely not safe enough, but I was just thinking out loud what I could provide for them. I'm not sure how hard it is to see where I 'normally' play, but many games notice when you play from another place and you get a warning on your email to confirm.
I totally agree that I'm in the wrong by not knowing my personal information on the account and being unable to confirm by email. Also from their perspective: what do they gain by rejecting to help me recovering it (not just giving, but helping by letting me prove it by other means)?

The best you could do is narrow down the options as to what email you could have been using back then, the most likely pseudonym used a the time and so on until you reach the minimal clearance requirement to access your account or have Blizz account retrieval department accessing it for you...
Double Security Checks - Email & Phone numbers - is no luxury.
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
@Horus I know exactly the email I used, even the password but not the name, birthday etc. That one is probably lost... I think I did give double security checks, but when I failed to give the name of my account, all communications were immediately blocked
On the other hand, from their perspective, what do they lose by not helping you?
The account is already blocked, so it's not like they're losing any money by not helping you. From their perspective, continuing to try and help you after you've failed security checks would essentially be wasting resourcing trying to help a potential scammer.
Unfortunately I don't see a way to get the account back if they've cut communication about it at this point. Without knowing the exact details of what you're missing to help unblock the account, the only suggestion I have is to see if you ever wrote down or saved somewhere the relevant account information.
Welcome to the site!
Blizzard are horribly over-sensitive when it comes to login issues. Having had to reclaim an account after my phone (with my authenticator on it) was stolen, I recall having to go through security measures that are tighter than the ones I use for work - and I work for a national government ¬.¬.
