I don't believe in this mechanic whatsoever. spending 3-mana to do nothing only to get a benefit 2 turns later just seems ridiculously slow. There've been better cards that haven't seen play for this exact reasons. 2-damage is especially insulting. For this condition it would have to be 3 at least. Only perplexingly slow token decks will be punished by this, everyone else just plays around it. I mean ffs, we can't even play Doomsayer without Freezes these days, how would this be any different.
Also, Demons for every class, Sac Pact will be nerfed soon :^)
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
Yup, ths one looks weak. You will get yeti on turn 5 (or 4 with coin) and some damage on enemy minions. It could help against aggro decks but skipping a turn isn't a good tactic against them.
What's the most powerful card in Hearthstone?
A credit card.
I would not understimate this new mechanic, even it is weak on paper. Sure it sounds weak that you do nothing on t3 and teh pay-off is two turns later, but for control decks it is fine, most of the time their 1-3 turns are pretty slow and if aggro players know that they can expect a boardclear in two turns they won't spam the board, because they know they lose it after two turns... so they will try to make it sticky... this sounds not too shaby, but we will see how it will play out.
I know Dormant looks weak at the moment, but this (same as the DH one) has a "board-clear-kinda" effect when he pops out. To compensate for the tempo loss when you play it. So, I will most definitely try all those dormant dudes and see how they feel, being played on curve. I don't think it will be that bad.
And this one (same as the DH one) has a strong body that needs some attention, when he gets in to play.
And now, just imagine, if they add some sort of "trigger neutral spell" that lets you pop your dormant minions right away ;). Man can dream!

I am not too sure you would want to play this. I am not saying the imprisoned minions are bad by nature, but this specific one doesn't seem very good. A board clear effect isn't really something you want to delay two turns, and it will also be very hard to know ahead of time exactly when you will need to play this so that it will trigger on the turn you need it to. I am not saying slow cards are bad and so imprisoned guys are bad, but a board clear isn't exactly something you want to have to hold off for that long.

Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
So, this is essentialy a delayed Volcanic Potion?

This card looks weak, especially since your opponent has two turns to prepare for the AoE. Might see play in Highlander Mage though.
It's a pretty slow card though, and an effect the opponent can easily play around. Strong in theory, but I don't think this will be a top-tier card.
I think the main value of this is how it disrupts your opponent's turns. They won't want to develop onto the board with this AOE coming, and if they forget to play around it they get punished. Dormant minions will also play well with Defender of Argus and Sunfury Protector, since you'll know you have a minion on board to taunt up.

Slow but powerful. Great fit in nearly every mage deck. Just shuts down aggro on their most important turn.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
A decent enemy only volcanic potion and the card has fair stats. I can't seem to think of a good deck to put this in but it will definitely be included for removal purposes.
2 damage to all enemy minions at turn 5 is pretty pointless. Don't think this will see play.
I think this is too slow, and too easy to play against. 2 damage is good against token decks, but skipping turn 3 against those will prove disastrous.
Would be good against aggro if it wasn't so slow. By turn 5 you might already be dead.
I agree: its best-case scenario is a token deck that plays right into its hands, which is asking for a lot of stupidity from your opponent.
I don't have much respect for most dormant cards I think only mage, demon hunter and druid have a chance being played.. this is quite potent.
the 2 aoe is quite strong even if delayed.. it's cheap enough.
I like this card. The aoe effect can slow down the aggression in the dormant turn for "save" some minion and don't play it
Giving up turn three for a turn five board clear. Almost certainly better than Imprisoned Antaen, but control mages probably don't need a yeti. If this card was good, more people would be running Volcanic Potion.
This post is discussing the wild format.
Not too shabby but easy to play around, and the whole "3 mana do nothing" dormant problem is for real.
With all the board clear mage has, i think there is a better spot for 3 drop here.
This is a strong card against aggressive and zoo decks, two arcane blasts will set up most boards to be destroyed by whatever you throw out next.
The stat line isn't terrible either, spider-tanks always see play
Is there anywhere were we can see this minion's animation? Because it looks just great!
One of the better Dormant cards. At least this one is better than Hunter and Warrior dormants.
Can be played around tho. But might be used like Doomsayer to just lag your opponent a bit. This card has some strategy in it. Liked it.

Honestly don’t think this’ll see any play, board clears aren’t that great if you give your opponent every chance to play around them, even more so for such a small clear
Who needs consistency when you could have fun?
Not game breaking, but a strong effect and decent stats so might see some play.
The effect is powerful (basically Consecration), the problem is by the time this wakes up, you might have already dealt with the board or died. I think this card requires testing to properly evaluate its power level.
On the turn this awakens, a 2 damage AoE will most of the times be too weak. If it were good, Holy Nova wouldn't have needed the buff it had.
Rating cards on coolness factor rather than predicting power because I like screwing up rating averages (and because I suck at predicting real power levels, but we'll ignore that LUL)
Wins per class (2/6/22): DH-197; Druid-996; Hunter-91«60; Mage-1056; Paladin-1126; Priest-746; Rogue-961; Shaman-1095; Warlock-871; Warrior-906
It skips turn 3, but this probably will be good in highlander, since it deals with aggro decks and mage Highlander usually doesn’t have that much to play on turn 3, so overall this is pretty good, though it probably will not be good in any other deck
