I want to like it but I can't.
It's basically Embiggen for Mages except your entire deck relies on getting this early and if you don'T you're already behind.
Also, Mage still lacks draw, meaning you're always gonna be relying on random generation in that deck, which I don't believe is good.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
Eh... but never underestimate mana cheat.
I already hate it.

I think some sort of spell mage will pop out and this will be one of the staples in it.
“If you have an apple and I have an apple and we exchange these apples then you and I will still each have one apple. But if you have an idea and I have an idea and we exchange these ideas, then each of us will have two ideas.” ― George Bernard Shaw
EU Legend: S52 (ZooHeal Lock); S76 (Highlander Hunter);
Mana cheating effects are always OP AF. And this + No minions mage might be pretty good. Also this will probably be a must include in every spell heavy deck... if they can find the room for it.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
I think this is a great card. Will see play outside that 'no minion mage' archetype which on the whole looks rather weak.
An interesting card for spell-heavy decks. Also a nice card for wild, which can reduce the cost of spells for Flamewaker.

Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
Man, this card can go OFF in a major way. Or it can be at the bottom of your deck and suck. So, just like most other cards I guess. Some serious potential combined with Sorcerer's Apprentice, Mana Cyclone, etc.
"Be excellent to each other." -Bill and Ted
Ya spell mage confirmed..this will just make spell mage even more op. 3 mana Apexis Blast or 8 mana Pyro..you name the restXD
I feel like this was printed just to enable spell mage. Even with this card, it will not be great.
Mana cheat is always broken. It's a huge tempo loss, but this card will break the game at some point.
Really good spell, and you can have two copies of this in your deck which is insane value. Will definitely be good in any mage deck but specially pure spell decks.
If No-Minion Mage gets off the ground, this card will be the one doing the most work.
You don't have to run 30 spells to play this card! you can play this in tempo mage or highlander and have much cheaper spells.
Another underdog card for mage. Like Embiggen for Druid in next 2 year for sure this card will find a spot...and it will be a really strong card when right time comes.
Deck discount effects are often deceptively bad. In a best case scenario, where you play this on turn 2 with a deck of all spell, this is effectively a prenerf Wild Growth, except it does not accelerate you to the cards in your hand. Probably slots into Mana Cyclone decks but is very low impact in slower strategies.
This post is discussing the wild format.
It's like the treasure from the solo adventure, which is good.
This card will probably end up seeing play in most mage decks for a long time. Obviously, this is meant to be played in the Spell Only Mage deck they have been pushing this expansion, but there is no reason not to play this in any mage deck with more than 50% spells.
Carrion, my wayward grub.
Mana cheat is always strong, even if it's a tempo loss.
what makes this card gross is that it can be discovered off of Cheap trick, making it easier to discount your spells in your deck
How's that working with 'reveal a spell from your deck...' cards? Like Spiteful Summoner or [Hearthstone Card (Dragon's Fury) Not Found]? I believe the ruling on that can be inconsistent...
Bored to see mana cheat.
Ok, I can understand that it is funny to see unexpected plays in card games but Rush/Weapons/spells already doing good with surprising your opponent. Do we really this much mana cheat in Hearthstone ?
Mana cheat is nice "only" when there are a few. Not that much !

Looks pretty scary, bit too draw dependent to be amazing though
Who needs consistency when you could have fun?
This can be insanely strong if drawn early.
Really good. Can be played in most decks
Ah yes, the spell version of Prince Keleseth. The only reason I don't see this card seeing play is the fact that I doubt Spell Mage will become a thing... for now.
Rating cards on coolness factor rather than predicting power because I like screwing up rating averages (and because I suck at predicting real power levels, but we'll ignore that LUL)
Wins per class (2/6/22): DH-197; Druid-996; Hunter-91«60; Mage-1056; Paladin-1126; Priest-746; Rogue-961; Shaman-1095; Warlock-871; Warrior-906
This is amazing, sure late game it will not be the best, but for highlander mage, this will be good. 9 mana pyro blasts and puzzled boxes are pretty good, though
It's a good thing this card got released in Ashes, and not Boomsday. Otherwise, Luna's Pocket Galaxy would be crazy good.
I do like this card, adn think it'll make a Spell Mage Archetype work. Or for that matter, any Mage Archetype can run this card. AAA+ Card.
Well look at that, I was right. Remove this card from the game Blizzard ok thnx bye
