Wait, holy shit, this changes a lot of things.
MAge is currently very lacking in the draw department and this is well-statted and consistent.
Honestly, this makes Cyclone Mage so much less awful in the early game because you actually contest the board and collect combo pieces to go off later.
Obviously also an auto include for Highlander since they welcome draw as well.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
Loot hoarder with spell tutor, will see play if spell tutor is needed. If we don't need spell tutor, 3/1 is not bad already.
WOAH THIS IS GOOD. Amazing minion and you don't need to run the sidequest package for guaranteed spell draw. Really good card!
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Maybe a minion heavy tempo deck with Evocation as the only spell so you can tutor it from this card? Or in big spell decks so you're guaranteed to get your Flamestrike, Frost Nova, etc.
Interesting, but I dont think this card is as great as most people think it is. For one thing, the statline is not good. And secondly, it draws only spells, so if you're running out of stuff to play this guarantees *mostly to get you a reactive card, not a key minion or a taunt.
If it sees play it would be because it tutors and can get you a specific card you built your deck around. As a draw engine, nah. Novice Engineer may have a worse statline, but I'd rather play this if it means I have a decent chance at getting key cards like Mana Cyclone.
This card can be used in a minion-heavy deck to tutor a specific spell. Maybe this fits into Highlander mage, but that archetype will suffer a lot from the loss of Luna's Pocket Galaxy. I'm not that impressed by this card though, since Mage has already enough options for card draw.

Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
Who would run this? I mean did anyone ever play Loot Hoarder? ...
"Be excellent to each other." -Bill and Ted
yes, people run loot hoarder in any combo deck.
Sorry, the ellipsis at the end was intended to indicate sarcasm. I should have been more clear
"Be excellent to each other." -Bill and Ted
Better than Loot hoarder, but is it good enough to make the cut?
I understand why they have printed it now, after the Pocket Galaxy is rotating :)

Drawing is nice but the card is meh..3/1 is easily removed so its basically just letting you draw spells..
Card draw is always good
It's a better Loot Hoarder. If you want card draw in mage, you play this. Also can be used to tutor Luna's Pocket Galaxy in wild.
Nice, good stats for it's mana and a good deathrattle too. Definitely a good and well-balanced minion.
I like it as an early play for Big Spell Mage (in Wild, unless that archetype ever gets off the ground again in Standard).
A better Loot hoarder for sure. In a deck that need a lot of draw this card will see play
Unfortunate stat distribution, but mages will nearly always run this instead of Loot Hoarder now. Maybe its tutelage (tutor-ness?) could be useful, but exploiting that would require using a deck that is very low on spells, which is unlikely to work well.
This post is discussing the wild format.
This could be a sleeper card that is stronger than it looks. Yes, weak body, but your opponent will have to her rid of her 3-attack and you do get your draw.
2 mana draw a spell, maybe this can survive a turn, maybe.
Upgraded Loot Hoarder.
I think this card will be good enough to see play because it only draws spells which makes it a lot more consistent than its loot hoarding cousin. If nothing else it will be used in a combo deck that wants to cycle a lot of cards.
Carrion, my wayward grub.
We finally see a better Loot Hoarder, not only in stats but effect.
Granted mage's run a lot of spells, it's their identity, but with Stargazer and Research Project rotating Mage will need the additional draw to stay in the game
Tutors are always nice and this has even better stats than Loot Hoarder.
Team 5 has really a different balance wisdom...
Unpopular Opinion Incarnate
A stellar card.
Looks pretty great, cheap draw is always a nice addition to a deck
Who needs consistency when you could have fun?
Seems slightly weak stat-wise, but guaranteed draw and forces the opponent to remove the threat. Might be stronger than it looks.
Two mana spell tutor is quite OK, but this card is unable to contest a board, with DH arriving.
Rating cards on coolness factor rather than predicting power because I like screwing up rating averages (and because I suck at predicting real power levels, but we'll ignore that LUL)
Wins per class (2/6/22): DH-197; Druid-996; Hunter-91«60; Mage-1056; Paladin-1126; Priest-746; Rogue-961; Shaman-1095; Warlock-871; Warrior-906
I am not seeing this card being that good. It is very weak, it might be good, but those no minion decks can not run this, and I do not want to run this in wild or standard. So, R.I.P
I would love this card to draw a card instead of a spell, but then again, it could get a good spell in a pinch.
