Pretty good I think. Shaman has enough draw to get to this in a timely fashion and a decent spell damage minion is never unwelcome. The main question is whether there are enough good Shaman spells for a Control Shaman list to work.

Too inconsistent for any degenerate OTKs though.

Prime token - 7 mana, 5/4, Spell Damage +1, Battlecry: Draw 3 Spells. Reduce their cost by (3).

As I wrote in druid one about prime - very susceptible to silence and slow (u need to draw token).

7 mana, 5/4 isn't great but combined with draw and mana reduction is much better than Sprint. You can draw cheap spells (and clear deck a little) and use them same turn (with SP+1) or big spells that u can use next turn (Bloodlust, Earthquake, Eye of the Storm). 

The reduction is strong, especially if another big spell is released. (Big Spell Shaman incoming?) 

Meh.

It's a fine card and will be played. But it doesnt seem like it has a good home yet.

Here's to hoping Spell Shaman becomes a real thing.

Remember when the Devs said that Shaman should not be good at generating/drawing Cards? Yeah, me neither.

Anyway, this might see play in some kind of Big Spell Shaman? This Card, The Fist of Ra-den and the other new Shaman Spell could fit into that Deck really well! 

This card might fit into some kind of Aggro Burn Shaman. Vashj Prime can be used as a finisher to find the missing burn spells.

Lets hope for some good spells for Shaman then, because right now this card will not see play!

Looks like a great card. Might be used in some Malygos Shaman deck in wild. (or standard if shaman gets some good spells.)

Don't have too much faith in this one, the base form is not that impressive and the improved one might come too late.

if you can get lava burst from prime its a potential 0 mana pyro blast XD. not a bad prime for this expansion.

The base form is nice meanwhile Prime Form is super strong. This card can fit in a control deck to tutor some key spell and in an aggressive deck to draw some reach from damage spell

Because you have to play it - it has to die - then draw the Prime - play it and hope you still have enough good spells in the deck so you can take advantage of the cost reduction !

The prime is very good, but the first half just seems a bit too inconsequential. They printed a lot of spell support in shaman this expansion, but not many actually good spells to take advantage of them.

Good to see them pushing Shaman back towards spells. 

Great card, will probably be in every single shaman deck.

Solid in spell shaman, good build around card with a clear win condition. And a great character.

Not a fan of either the base card or prime here that much. A super greedy shaman control list exists and I'm not sure that it wants this, but it is the most likely place for it to find a home. A spell specific skull of guldan + a tallstrider for seven is very dependant on the spells drawn. I think you want to draw one or two 3 mana spells off of it, play them immediately, then hold up your discounted boardwipe(s) for later, which seems okay but not really necessary against any deck that gives you enough time to pull it off. In terms of combo, you are more likely to draw your combo card than draw vashj, have her die and draw her prime first.

the stats on her base for are okay, the spell damage +1 makes her look real good with cards like Lightning storm 

her prime form is a nice card draw engine, and discounting spells by 2 or 3 means you'll have more flexibility with them.

But I'm wondering if you run Vashj with cheap spells or expensive spells? 

This one makes me want Azure Drake in standard to make a Dragon Spell Damage Shaman deck.

Looks pretty decent, though I don’t think it’ll see much play until some really amazing spells get printed (probably in the next expansion)

Not the strongest of the Prime cards, but might see some play in spell Shaman as a finisher.

Kickass art imo. Its so awesome to see all these Frozen Throne/Burning Crusade "heroes" making a comeback. 

This prime is great, but not the best, her starting body is great, though.
