Giving a minion extra stats and taunt in the late game for 0 mana is absolutely going to see play. However, there isn't a clear archetype this would slot into currently. Maybe a Dragon deck would want to use this although majority of the dragons used in Druid are the evasive ones.
Also, the 7 mana bonus reminds me of a similar mechanic in The Elder Scrolls: Legends
Well it's over
I don't get which deck this is supposed to be for. Usually giving taunt to a minion is reserved for classes who don'T usually have taunts...but Druid has a ton of them, so what do you even put this on?
I don't think it's bad, but it seems redundant.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
Won't see play aside from testing in the first weeks. It is basically Mark of the Wild, which don't see play.
Edit: Maybe in some Kaelthas Miracle Druids as a 0-Mana fuel card...
Druid already has a good Amount of Taunts available to them, which makes this is kinda unnecessary. Plus, most of the Stuff that you summon at 7 Mana is already big, so small Buffs really don't do much.
But maybe in a midrangey Deck? It says „at 7 Mana Crystals", so maybe your plan could be to ramp up fast and play multiple mid-sized Minions (or Embiggened Minions) and buff them?

Kael'thas is the only reason I can see this being much good. Saving 2 mana when you're already at 7? Not turning many games around otherwise.

It's a decent card to discover and it a useful card but I don't think it's good enough to put in your deck. In current druid decks this is almost useless, for example.
auctioneer food i guess.
I might not be averse to running one of these in a King Phaoris or C'Thun Druid, perhaps, to make playing my big boy feel safer. But the most important facet of the card is, as others note, the mana reduction.
It's a serviceable card, but most of the time, there are far better cards out there.
Better call Thrall!
This is a weird card. The card hints towards a slower control strategy, but the buff sounds more like something you would want in a token deck.
The card doesn't look too good as a simple 2 mana 1/3 buff, but by the time you reach turn 7 it will be too small to have any impact on the game.
The only way I see this card seeing play is if there is either a deck that really needs that buff, or if you need a 0 mana card to play for when you play Ultimate Infestation or Overflow.
Carrion, my wayward grub.
It looks like a very small buff for the late game, +1/+3, I ain't sure is enough, but I must say it gets me intrigued with what Team5 had in mind and that the taunt part could be valuable
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
In Wild it MAY be playable in miracle druid. However, giving +1/+3 and taunt is not that strong and porobably just playing any 0 mana spell (for example Pounce) would be better, because it's always 0 mana.
I never apologize… I’m sorry but that’s the way I am.
I don't care about if it's good or bad, if it's sees play or not - I gave it 5 stars just because the artwork. It's hilarious.
But ye, I think a 0 mana spell will definitely see some sort of play. What kind of deck? Combo/stall or a control type (probably with Kel'thas to easily enable the 3rd free spell effect)

This card is weird. It could be used as a cheap spell for Kael'thas Sunstrider, but will probably be used rather in wild wild than in standard. Also, this has a bad synnergy with Ysiel Windsinger ;)
great for Kael'thas Sunstrider. That's basicly it.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Can't see this outside of some combo deck with Kael'thas Sunstrider.
We had a 1/3 buff in paladin with essentially taunt since boomsday (magnetic) the buff is not that impactful.
Free buff at turn 7 but for token druid turn 7 you probably already won the game..probably see this in big druid decks.
Druid is getting it's own "Mini Omega" cards lol
Except this one is pretty bad...
I like Taunt, I like buff spells...but I don't see the point of this card. Am I supposed to cast it on Marsh Hydra, to possibly get a second attack off? Then why would I give him Taunt, thus making him a reachable target? This Druid set is a mess.
Good for some Gadgetzan Auctioneer cycle-heavy decks, but Quest Druid can cycle just as well, just with better support cards. Don't see this being much of a thing.
I don't like to use 2 slot cards for this one, even if it's free....unless Druid can use it for a combo (like Gadgetzan Auctioneer or Kael'thas Sunstrider)
Slots into a mecha'thun + auctioneer deck as well as any 0-mana spell, maybe slightly worse than bogbeam as it makes your auctioneer harder to remove to prepare for the mecha'thun. Probably not going to be used outside of that, but it could see play in a kael'thas deck, where turn 5 biology project makes this cost 0. Less positive on this than bogbeam.
This post is discussing the wild format.
I'd play this in a Token deck... maybe. Then again, maybe not.
Quick! Someone give me something clever to write here.
If you want to ramp, wont you be playing a high cost card? Idk man, i still dont see a deck for this. Maybe nomi druid..?
a free mana spell will always see play if you need to cycle something.
even then it's 2 mana cost isn't terrible
Just good enough if you need to fill your deck, but not powerful enough to define any archetype.
Better than other (7) mana bonus card Bogbeam.
This one's effect at least worth 2-mana already. 3-mana deal 3 damage to a minion is just bad.
Unpopular Opinion Incarnate
Either gonna see play because of Kael’thas, or because a somewhat slow deck wants it, and that’s pretty much it
Who needs consistency when you could have fun?
Very good defensive tool even if you can't make use of the mana discount early on.
Here's to hoping a Gadgetzan Auctioneer draw engine with this and the other costs 0 at 7+ mana into a degenerate doesn't become a thing. Other than that, I don't see this card seeing the light of day.
Rating cards on coolness factor rather than predicting power because I like screwing up rating averages (and because I suck at predicting real power levels, but we'll ignore that LUL)
Wins per class (2/6/22): DH-197; Druid-996; Hunter-91«60; Mage-1056; Paladin-1126; Priest-746; Rogue-961; Shaman-1095; Warlock-871; Warrior-906
Didn't even consider that! but what big spells are you comboing with that? A malygos play maybe?
Why would you waste a slot on this card? Can’t see this either in arena or constructed.
Overflow or Nourish, you do't have to play kaelthas with 10 mana spells you still gain quite a bit of mana for 5+ cost spells.
This is okay. Late game, this does not really do much. Early, that, again, is okay
No druid deck cares about single minion buffs and the buff is too weak it the mid to late game for the mana discount to matter at 7+ mana.
For glory, honor, and gold!
I can't believe I rated this as a 2-star card. You really can't accurately rate cards in a vacuum.
The fact that this is zero mana is amazing. Absolutely essential for the spell druid swing turns.
Also works with big druid, allowing them to do play more than 1 card a turn.
again we should never turn a blind eye to mana cheating cards. they WILL ALWAYS be good
