Interesting card.
Its better than Flark's Boom-Zooka cuz minions can survive.
By The Holy Light!
Random enemies means that it can always whiff when it comes to actually removing minions, meaning you can't reliably use it as a comeback tool.
Even further, 3/5s are pretty underwhelming. At 10-mana those probably won't kill a lot of things.
If you look at it it's basically a more expensive Captain Hooktusk, and we haven't seen her played in like a year. Zul'jin also rotates, so there's no long term value from this.
At best this would be run in Highlander Hunter as a last resort...and I don't think they'd even need it.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
Decently powerful card on it's own but not enough to see contructed play and it doesn't play the style of game hunter usually wants to. Will only see play if there is another synergy/reason to play it like a spiteful summoner, mana cheat for spells, etc. I'm assuming there must be something like that for them to make it an epic but it wouldn't be the first time they released a card like this for no reason.
Very expensive, but looks cool though. I have always dream of control hunter, but this is as slow as Eye of the Storm. I hope it will be a playable card.
EDIT: This can go face, I actually think its a great finisher after your opponent uses "destroy all minions" board clear if they dont have a deathrattle minions. Not bad at all.
At least adds something for Spiteful Summoner, but also provides a finishing blow against small or empty boards, because the minions can hit face based on the wording.

I am not exactly sure which kind of deck will fit this card. I like the theme and the artwork of the card, but the effect and the cost are what worries me.

If the board is small enough this can be an okay-ish board clear, or if your opponent has no minions this can be 12 damage to face, but I think in most circumstances this will be too inconsistent and underwhelming to be worth playing.
Carrion, my wayward grub.
Wasn't Call of the Wild a Finisher in Hunter at some Point? I mean this could easily work as such. A well placed late Game Push is often all it takes to win.
Also, just imagine how dangerous it could be to play big AoE like Plague of Death or Twisting Nether and leave an empty Board for your Opponent.

If more Big spells are revealed, maybe hunters can build arround Kael'thas Sunstrider.
By The Holy Light!
If they had Rush is might be better, despite not being able to go face. 10 mana is expensive, especially for Hunter.
unleash the hounds on steroids. 5 stars
10 mana is way too expensive for a Hunter spell. But i'm looking forward to the Trolden clip where all four Clefthoofs go face for lethal.
Also a nice spell for The Amazing Reno.
Wait a minute, I didn't knew Hunters could count up to turn 10 .. oh well ^^
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
That's what I was thinking! Jam Kael'thas, then reduce/clear the board with a couple cheap spells and let these guys rip
"Be excellent to each other." -Bill and Ted
Call of the Wild completely fell out of relevance after being nerfed to 9-mana
I do agree with your second point though, big boardclears into empty boards would indeed be a scary thing to do against Hunters, but it's not like there's a lot of classes (Priest, Warlock, maybe Mage and Warrior) who actually do that on a consistent basis.
Might be a tech choice.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
Either: 12 Dmg to Face. Who needs Leeroy Jenkins?
Or Deal 12 to random characters, including face. You decide.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Rapid Fire is still a thing so maybe? Then again, the problem with Kael'thas is that he usually comes online very late in the game for most classes that aren't Druid or Mage.
On the other hand, I really want a reason to use Arcane Fletcher

'' Come on and slam, and welcome to Nagrand! ''
Now I want to watch Space Jam!
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
32 stats for 10 mana seems good. On the other hand, it's only useful if your opponent has some smallish minions, with at most 3 health - like murlocs, or token decks. And turn 10, such a game will long be decided. a dangerous board of a few big minions will probably withstand them. So at most win-more.
Another highroll option for The Amazing Reno.
Other than that, I don't think this will see play in Hunter
so you get the value of 2 leeroy in the form of 4x 3/5s..turn 10 clear board use this =D
I agree with this assessment. Other than that, you'll only see Nagrand Slam from random effects like Puzzle Box of Yogg-Saron or The Amazing Reno.
I can see this being the top of a slow Highlander Hunter build, but seeing as how that list has only become faster since its inception I don't see it happening any time soon. Cool design though.
Kael'thas Sunstrider + Rapid Fire + Nagrand Slam.
turn 8 or 6 with the coin to get the board really hard, all cards are kind of good stand alone so this might work.
but you kind of need 2 Nagrand Slam to justify running kael'thas.
Really expensive card for it's effect. Were it cheaper it would be more playable, but at this cost it will barely see play.
I think it is playable. There's a couple of board clears in the game that leave the board empty. This is a fine way to both repopulate it and do 12 to face.
SinceZul'jin will rotates I don't think this card will see play in standard. 10 mana for 4 random attack are too much
Nice off puzzle box.
Hunters now have their own less reliable Pyroblast. Does a job that I think is done better by two kill commands, but works better with Zul'jin. Has potential in a slower hunter deck, which is drifting ever closer to being viable with hunter's recent rush package.
This post is discussing the wild format.
I have yet to touch the Summoner Hunter deck in Wild after the unnerfings. However, I plan on trying it out after April 7 if I open some of these. Get big minions through Spiteful, load up one or two of these and a Call of the Wild for a Zul'jin turn later! Could be fun!
Quick! Someone give me something clever to write here.
Definitely playable and fun. This could be on a zixor deck, too.
this is a big card, not just in stats or mana cost but how it can be played.
Lot of posters already mentioned Kaelthas being used to activate this card early, or even using the card as a 10 mana finisher.
other classes will have to rely on a board to protect them if this card becomes a staple in Hunter lists...
While I'm agreeing that this is a good combo and a finisher card, this is also used in some control Hunter which I care more. Liked it.
Unpopular Opinion Incarnate
if no minions, will go face. it's interesting. but really really slow..
I’m probably wrong, but looks like a pretty good finisher. Besides, as a hunter, if your opponent has control of the board, you’ve pretty much lost anyways
Who needs consistency when you could have fun?
A good (potential) board clear, but the high cost makes it kinda prohibitive in my opinion.
Sems... good? Yes it's very expensive, but the effect is really powerful. Definitely worth a slot in highlander hunter and possibly in other a bit slower hunter decks too.
If the Clefthoofs or whatever their name is could go face, it would make this card much more appealing in a more aggressive midrange deck. If they can go face, it will make this card worse in a more defensive build. Either way, not that great regardless.
Rating cards on coolness factor rather than predicting power because I like screwing up rating averages (and because I suck at predicting real power levels, but we'll ignore that LUL)
Wins per class (2/6/22): DH-197; Druid-996; Hunter-91«60; Mage-1056; Paladin-1126; Priest-746; Rogue-961; Shaman-1095; Warlock-871; Warrior-906
This = 12/20 that attacks 4 enemies. For 10 mana, this is pretty good. Though, it probably is gonna be too slow to be viable. (Arena, though)
Very scary potential burst to tech into highlander against slower matchups.
For glory, honor, and gold!
