Great 1-drop for a Beast Midrange Hunter
Springpaw Replacement although not nearly as versatile. Will have to do for now though.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
Pretty good 1 drop and a lot of synergy with the new hunter cards. Looking good.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Great synergy with new secret Pack Tactics unless your opponent is Mage.
Unpopular Opinion Incarnate
A solid card for Beast Hunter, but that archetype will suffer a lot from losing Springpaw.
Just not good enough. Since we're losing Master's Call there's no longer any reason to run a full beast deck. That means this poor thing will not likely see any play. I'd put Timber Wolf in front of it.
I was expecting it to have charge ; it is probably better that way
Helbacon, anyone?
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
Great 1-drop, not so good later on. Will definitely see play in Beast Hunter.
"Be excellent to each other." -Bill and Ted
Reading the name and seeing the art, I thought this card will have Charge for some reason.
But I was kinda disappointed.

Nah this is not even that great..filler card that seems like they ran out of idea for hunters..
Decent 1-drop in a midrange beast hunter list, but quite flimsy. I can see it seeing play for 1 expansion until we get a card like Springpaw, Dire Mole or Alleycat again.
It's reasonable in the right Beast Hunter deck, but will such a deck exist in the Standard meta? I'm not sure. You definitely wouldn't want this card in a deck based around pulling and buffing specific Beasts; what if you accidentally hit this instead?
Amazing card for it's cost. It seems that buffed minions will be a thing for hunter in the coming expansion.
It's not rush, but it is a 2/1 for 1 and hunter like their aggressive minions. They'd have to go back to a beast build to really make use of this minion. Not sure that's the way they'll go.
seems low impact kind of.. We didn't see this effect work on a battlecry but that minion wasn't a beast and it's 2 mana and not one.. so this might be good.. besides hunter just lost it's best 1 drop
Just a decent 1-drop; the effect is ok, but the 1 hp is too low for aggressive deck
Feel like Hunter Beast Decks are going to definitely be less aggressive and more burst/combo style. All the handbuffs, Scarlet Webweaver... lots of potential. I mean... Imagine buffing Zixor Prime up a bunch and having a 0 mana Tundra Rhino in hand thanks to the spider I mentioned. Summon three BIG bois and Rhino gives them Charge. DONE!
Quick! Someone give me something clever to write here.
An acceptable 1-drop, but unless you need to accrue stats on a specific minion in hand to win, z.B. Charges or Some kind of Leoroxx combo this is probably worse than other 1-drops available to hunters. Potential to be okay to good in the right deck, but probably not.
This post is discussing the wild format.
Solid 1 drop, contest the board, and make subsequent card better
it's a solid 1 drop so it'll see play. The deathrattles just icing on the cake, doesn't matter if it whiffs or not
I don't think you would want to play this in a handbuff beast deck. Sure it buffs a guy in your hand, but you wouldn't want to hit this with [Hearthstone Card (scavengers ingenuity) Not Found] or [Hearthstone Card (scrapshot) Not Found]. This card is probably better in a deck that just wants a good 1-drop and also runs enough beasts for the deathrattle to be relevant.
Carrion, my wayward grub.
A good card to buff your minions, and easy enough to meet requirements.
A very iconic mob from Outland in Burning Crusade. I'm always down for some more hand-buff synergy in wild, and I'm sure it will have some great benefits in standard as the year goes on and we continue getting even more beasts. Nothing outstanding, but solid enough for me.
Official Lorekeeper and Spinner of Tavern Tales
Fiery Bat was decent back in the day, probably a bit too weak these days though, even if this buffs a minion in hand
Who needs consistency when you could have fun?
A good early drop, but not amazing in mid to late game.
1 Heath minions became much worse with the arrival of DH. The only thing this card has going for it is the fact there are no better Hunter one drops (though there is the Neutral 1 mana 2/2 which completely outclasses this).
Rating cards on coolness factor rather than predicting power because I like screwing up rating averages (and because I suck at predicting real power levels, but we'll ignore that LUL)
Wins per class (2/6/22): DH-197; Druid-996; Hunter-91«60; Mage-1056; Paladin-1126; Priest-746; Rogue-961; Shaman-1095; Warlock-871; Warrior-906
It's good, not great. Not like hunter really needs great, but it is losing Springpaw
Rage quitting: the best way to ensure your opponent knows they beat a giant baby.
Ok 1-drop, but you don’t want to hit this with other beast meant for stronger animals.
Great early game, but sucks any later in game. It can buff your prime card, but it just is not good enough(the pig, not the prime card)
