Wild-only player here. Where can I find that buff paladin?
Oh you won't be able to find it on any tier lists or anything, it's not really a deck you'd pick to climb with. But every time I take it for a whirl I end up beating some meta deck I never thought I could have a chance against. Quest Mage, Secret Mage, Odd DH, Reno Priest. It's not performing consistently enough and it still has its bad matchups like Cubelock and Combo Druids etc. so it doesn't enter the discussion of top meta decks, but it just keeps on surprising me. There's no point giving you a list now since with the change to Aldor Attendant that deck will need revision. But if you message me over the course of the next week, I can give you my up-to-date list. I expect I'll spend a few hours next week tuning it once the change goes live.
Fantastic set of changes. I really hope that this weakens DH while making paladin and shaman more viable.
You're 1 patch late dude, DH is not dominant atm, Garrosh took over the leadership for a few weeks now...
Well not really, Garrosh is mostly strong as a DH counter. This patch will bring shaman and paladin back, who knows how warriors will deal with them. Small changes can have great effects
I love that they are doing more buffs! I think there are more cards I would like adjusted, but seems like a great set of changes to me.
the priestess nerf does nothing. aside from that good overall changes
I'm glad that [Hearthstone Card (Siamat) Not Found] now beat [Hearthstone Card (Priestess of Fury) Not Found]. I think that is already a good change.
You're terribly wrong: 5 damage are much easier to deal than 7.
Plus now it will die to Dragonfire Potion, so I'm quite happy about it.
I never meant nothing as in it cant be killed. Yes it now will but after playing DH and against it i can assure u that its battlecry sealed games. The nerf would better be to ots battlecry or to its mana
That way you would not nerf the card: you would kill it.
8 mana would be so bad? For the aggro or tempo demon hunter yes. 8 mana 6/7 with that effect wouldn't be bad. Look at ragnaros
That Aldor Attendant is a whole different card now! This also buffs that hand card, since before there weren't very many good one drops to play this on curve with.
in the end Aldor Attendant got some love
I am pleased with all of these changes. Especially the Shaman buffs.
I have nothing against DH but those nerfs felt good. Step by step it's becoming less a meme about overpowered cards and more a fair class with few RNG stuff and straightforward gameplay.
Nerfed DH cards: Altruis the Outcast (still powerful), Battlefiend, Glaivebound Adept, Eye Beam, Skull of Gul'dan (still powerful), Aldrachi Warblades, Crimson Sigil Runner, Imprisoned Antaen and Priestess of Fury.
Altruis the Outcast received the wrong Nerf. They should have nerfed it into jsut a board clearer, and not deal face damage. Imo, that "nerf" it received was a slap on the wrists that did nothing to it, other than piss it off.
100% agree.
So tempted to craft that sweet The Lurker Below for Even Shaman!
This set of buffs/nerfs looks MUCH better than the last one.
Sir Finley of the Sands needs an Aldor Attendant treatment!
