Hearthstone is getting a fresh set of balance changes next week which targets 10 different cards, 8 of which are collectible.
The patch focuses on increasing the costs of some cards and for the most part, making it so cards that would reduce the cost of drawn or created cards to 0 to now only decrease to 1, lowering the power level of many popular decks quite a bit. Demon Hunters are getting hit again with the nerf stick for the fifth patch in a row.
Quote From Blizzard On July 14, we’ll be releasing a patch that includes balance updates for several cards in Standard. Craftable cards listed below will be eligible for a full dust refund for two weeks after the 17.6 patch goes live.

- Old: Draw a weapon. Give it +1/+1. → New: Draw a weapon. Give it +1 Durability.
- Old: Swap your Hero Power to “Deal 5 damage.” After 2 uses, swap it back. → New: Swap your Hero Power to “Deal 4 damage.” After 2 uses, swap it back.
- Old: 3 Attack, 5 Health → New: 3 Attack, 4 Health.
- Old: [Cost 5] → New: [Cost 6].
- Old: [Cost 6] → New: [Cost 7].
- Old: [Cost 2] → New: [Cost 3].
- Old: Battlecry: Draw 1 card. It costs (0). → New: Battlecry: Draw 1 card. It costs (1).

Incoming Trolden video where someone draws three 0-Cost cards with the nerfed Galakrond.
Or even all 4...
I haven't messed with Galakrond for so long that I actually momentarily forgot that stage 3 Galakrond does his action 4 times instead of 3.
The [Hearthstone Card (Warglaives of Azzinoth) Not Found] nerf seems good, but, unfortunately, still not enough to stop Wild Odd DHs.
Whaaat? What are you running in place of Warglaives in Odd DH that's even remotely as powerful?
Well not so sure... Pirate warrior might become aggro deck of choice now... Corsair cache doesn't hit that deck as bad as Odd DH got hit..
It already is the aggro deck of choice though
Nah it was more of a 50/50, now it is guaranteed...
Nice! I'm loving these small, but constant nerfs/buffs! Always shaking up the meta a little bit!
I agree with most of these nerfs, but Kayn baffles me. Since when was having 5 health the issue? He should cost 5 mana instead.
They don't want him in Odd DH I'm guessing.
Blizz seems to have something against nerfing 5 HP
EVIL Miscreant & Shadowjeweler Hanar are both casualties of this :P
but where is the yeti nerf? 5 health is way too much
quest mage just got better in wild. having said that the corsair cache is quite balanced but it still does what the egg warrior in standard and the pirate warrior in wild wants, which is extra charge on the weapon. the wild pirate warrior will suffer a bit due to the less 3 damage if we count all attacks, also making the trades of the weapon on enemy minions worse. i think its balanced overall. the dragon queen seems very hard. like on turn 9 or 10 its normal to hit heavy hitters this way alex will be quite a bad play.
Woah!
All of them sound great, can't wait to see how they effect the meta
