It's good but that's mostly because it has taunt. A RNG Mind Control (or Shadow Madness) minion wouldn't do a lot against swarm decks but since it has taunt it fills a nice early game defensive barricade role as well. It's strictly inferior to Convincing Infiltrator in Resurrect decks since it only works against minions with very low attack so i wouldn't expect it to be a big deal in that deck but it certainly is a decent option for other decks.
This card has great support in Wild, not so much in Standard though. I wouldn't mind pulling this from packs though tbh.
At least it has Taunt.
If this would feature a targeted effect like [Hearthstone Card (Kabal Shadow Priest) Not Found] it might see some amount of play. In its current form this card is interesting but too unreliable.

Very cool card! Cabal Shadow Priest has always been a cool card that's hard to slot into a deck - Cabal Acolyte seems like it will fit much more naturally into a control Priest deck.
Solid card for the body at least, but not as OP as it seems.
It's a highly conditional Combo afterall.
Why stolen minion is allowed to attack immediately? Why does this effect work like Shadow Madness instead of like Cabal Shadow Priest? It steals a minion forever, right? So it should be sleeping.
The difference between those two cards has always bothered me. Now this card's mechanic is just salt in the wound!
Its just another one of those vague mechanics in descriptions again.

Its rather strong, but then again Cabal Shadow Priest still exists, lets you choose the target, and most players play around Shadow Madness anyway.
Also, this is a spellburst effect, so likely you'll have to use or waste a spell just to get it to work.
Unfortunately for this card, Shadow Madness is just still more efficient, and if you can't get the spellburst out the same time this is played, it'll just be a 2/6 taunt for 4, which is not great.
Edit: it has a niche, which is that the effect can still work if its ressurected, but its still underwhelming in my opinion.
Anyone identified the Weapon the Rogue is using? Seems like new to me...

It's great that this has taunt, but the delayed effect means your opponent can easily play around it. Might Lazul's Scheme become playable?
The problem with Lazul's Scheme is that, while it can go infinite, it is a terrible topdeck and needs to scale before being useful.
However, you'd never want to keep it in the mulligan against Aggro because, by itself, it doesn't do anything if not saving you 2/3 damage to the face.
On the other hand, Lazul's Scheme costs 0, so you can play it with Cabal Acolyte on curve and that doesn't seem a shabby play at all. We'll just have to see if Priest will have better plays or not.
techniccally speaking it's not as bad of a topdeck with this in hand, because you can at least snag a 3-attack minion.
Yeah, but as you said it is a too limited combo: if Lazul's Scheme synergyzes only with Cabal Acolyte then it's not that great of a deck inclusion. On the other hand, if more synergy cards pop up...
Could also work with Shadow Priest, Shadow Madness and possibly something else as well. If this card is good enough to justify it maybe there's a whole package to be built around it.
Also Sethekk Veilweaver, which can give you a free spell at least.
